Cocco Mint

You need to let this one sit for a while before judging it. When I first got it, I wasn’t keen, but like most scents it needs time to recover from shipping, settle and acclimatise! Cocco Mint is just divine! It’s a refreshing and indulgent, sweet peppermint patty scent. I can absolutely smell the chocolate. If you can’t you need to let it sit! This is balanced perfectly with the mint to create a very realistic scent. I don’t find it overpowering at all. I could douse myself in this. I love it so much! UPDATE - having bought a full bottle, it doesn’t have the delicious mint chocolate smell my sample had. The scent has improved a bit since I bought it a year ago, but I still don’t get chocolate which is hugely disappointing. The sample was divine and, like the first reviewer, I got a delicious after eight scent from it! The full bottle is meh.... I really hope this matures with time and isn’t a case of batch changes. From others reviews batches seem to vary as I get no play dough, florals or coconut.

This is not for the faint of heart. This is strong, bold mint with chocolate and coconut. To be worn on colder season otherwise you will be overwhelmed. Wearing this today to office on a chilly, windy day and I`m in a think and bold scent cloud, still figuring out if I will enjoy wearing it repeatedly but for one time experiment it`s a lot of fun.

It’s so aromatic I’m practically getting pine needles. Okay, fine, it’s mint. Over a soft bed of playdough. It’s definitely airy. I don’t get a lot of chocolate or sweetness, and I usually hope for those Andes mint chocolates when I read chocolate mint, so this missed the mark, unfortunately. Something is just always off about any chocolate mint iteration on my skin, so I can’t blame this perfume. It’s just that weird flat note of playdough, I often get it from coconut leaning perfumes as well. I wish I knew what it was!
