Faerie Queen

I couldn't find this on perfumology,I ordered directly from the UK on their main site, even though I'm in the US,with tarrifs in place... their still shipping to the US currently, happy it came in the mail today,fast shipping,my first time buying from them,I love this its slightly & sweetly aromatic,-erethal vibes. I purchased a full size, lasts very well & worth every penny! It's not very often, a scent makes me feel distracted in a nostalgic way,like it's the past some how & the future....yet I never smelled this before,transported from a different time.

First proper wearing of Faerie Queen, the latest Queen from 4160 Tuesdays as collaboration with Cafleurebon, initially a Perfumology exclusive in the US, and a similarly sweet, powdery, sharp inspiring blend like its four predecessors (White, Red, Dark, Pirate). Its center is a powdery sweet iris accord, flanked by rose, violet, vanilla, and musk. It’s borderline candy-sweet, a feature that is expressed more over time in the dry down, whereas the opening is fittingly a bit more strident, in which it boldly announces itself florally, after the creamy vanilla and musk announce themselves over time. There are connections to the Clouds family of the house, for sure, in the iris and vanilla pairing that’s so prominent in both, but Faerie Queen is surely a bit sharper, more powdery, more violet-leaning than anything Clouds. I prefer Clouds mostly but like Faerie Queen as a sharper, more floral cousin, particularly for those whose preferences lean that way. Faerie Queen performs very well and is priced at $180/130 for 100/50ml, in EDP concentration, and is sold both via the UK house website as well as (in the US) Perfumology, which has (by far, to my knowledge) the largest selection of 4160 Tuesdays fragrances in North America. 7 out of 10

I want to a Say THANK YOU to reviewer below that said where to get this in the (US) PERFUMOLOGY....or I never would have been able to purchase a sample ,faerie queen wasn't available on luckyscent & I couldn't afford shipping $$$prices from the UK ,so thank you! Now after long intro ,this to me is pleasent airy voilet ...unique light airy slightly sweet not in a gummy or candy way,unless it was barley airy voilety sweet...atleast with my chemistry,strange because it's so powerful clean yet gentle&airy ~just like it's name, projection is loud and lasts good 10 hrs on me, to me it's a very strong clean faintly airbrushed voilet that is powerful &very airy creamy, reminds me of white frozen vanilla yogurt ice cream~ mixed with alot of voilet in a very clean floral way~fun to try~same family as insolence by Guerlain &untra voilet by PR,except this is lighter and smoother more airy pleasent tho, enjoying sample, my first time trying 4160 tuesdays,im definitely going to try others from this house,however I don't think this one is for me,it's nice&simple harmless•☆• really well done fragrance otherwise ~♤~cold &airy vibes~

Got a sample. This one smells exactly like gummy candies I used to eat as a child. A mix of typical swedish fish, tart berries and such. I can smell the sourness in there, exactly like when you open a bag of fresh tart gummies. It's a fun one because based on the notes I was not expecting that at all. I was almost ready to blind buy this one. At the moment, I'm asking myself... do I want to smell like Swedish fish candies ? Not so sure. Edit: I tested it again after several months and it's less sweet, more orris-violet, but still smells somehow like candies. Maybe my mood just changed ... I bought a full bottle :)

powdery, sweet, animalic musk (just the teeniest smidge), evergreen, fruits, fluffy violet, orris

very unique and so sickly sweet it's almost intoxicating, in a good way. definitely a fantasy fragrance for special occasions, but can't imagine myself wearing this in a casual sense. it's very alluring, but just so specific.
