Fruits of the Tree of Knowledge

I just love this fragrance. There is something so strangely comforting and enjoyable to me about it. It's soft and fruity but there is an earthiness to it, maybe it's the cucumber....but I feel like I'm smelling something that isn't listed and I can't place what it is. Or maybe it's just an accord being created by several things in it. Though fruity and relatively simple, I find this fragrance oddly unique. And the raspberry in it is wonderful. It smells more like actual raspberries rather than "raspberry flavoring".

I absolutely love this fragrance and when my mini bottle ran out, I just had to buy a big bottle. It smells like tart cherries, but has other fruit too. In case you're imagining something syrupy and sickly from the notes, this isn't like that at all. Each fruity note smells clean and sharp and the overall effect is one that makes me want to marinate in it. It's fabulously sharp, and oh boy, those cherries!

Wow! What beautiful sparkling fruity tangy fragrance. The raspberries definitely dont totally dominate this fragrance. I also pick up the cucumber, violet and sandalwood. It opens up first with all the citrus fruits. It has a some sweetness but its also juicy and fresh. Gorgeous to wear on a warm day. Moderate sillage and decent longevity.

I don’t know how I’ve never tried this one. I know the clue is in the name bit it is SO fruity, in a sweet, sticky kind of way. I get a sweet very raspberry rose, with a slight iris/violet vibe (I struggle to tell them apart). The opening had a hint of that freshness you get from violet leaf but it was fleeting and now I’m just enveloped in sticky very tart raspberry jam. It’s very good. Why don’t I have a bottle of this?! I never hear anyone talk about it and it’s delicious.

A very tart and citrusy scent which settles down in a sharp cherry. It’s not my usual scent profile but I do like it. It verges into cleaning product territory at points but...I enjoy the smell of cleaning products so that’s not a dealbreaker. It’s fresh, unusual, and the performance is decent, if not pushy. Good perfumery from 4160 Tuesdays, as always!
