My Eau My!

4160 Tuesdays My Eau My! is a wondrous chypre from 2023 developed as part of an Indiegogo campaign in concert with Eau My Soul, yielding EDP and Parfum versions, both of which I purchased as part of my contribution to the campaign. I’d realized recently that I neglected to give this a full review. Looking first at the EDP, imagine a classically balanced chypre modernized with a dense, rich sweetness. Orris, benzoin, oakmoss, and rose form the core of a hearty chypre, with added notes of osmanthus and vanilla to provide sweetness and brightness. The result is a classic-meets-modern chypre with prominent resinous and sweet qualities, not quite jammy nor smoky, a quite excellently balanced and enveloping experience, unisex and special to the point that it can really make a special occasional even more special, but it frankly has the everyday wearability, as its opulence is complemented by the aforementioned balance and completeness among the various elements. The Parfum is fittingly darker, less bright/fresh, with a very similar formula but certainly with the resinous and smoky aspects expressed more significantly. I think I prefer the EDP slightly, but there’s a great utility in the Parfum for nighttime/winter vs. daytime/yearround. I really enjoy both versions, however, and need to continue to explore them more. From what I can tell, My Eau My! has not become part of the house’s main collection, either through their UK website or their North American retailers that are familiar to me, like Perfumology, Olfactif, and Indiescents. 8 out of 10

This review is for the EdP. This is gorgeous and well made, definitely a vintage chypre feel to it. I would love a bit of galbanum to balance it out, but it's blended so well that I don't miss it much. Very classy and would really sing in the winter, I feel. The orris isn't very prominent, I get more rose/honey/oakmoss than anything else. It lasts all day---a good 12-14 hours on my skin. If you're in love with vintage chypres this is a must have.

How on earth does this have no reviews when it was made for, and released to/for a group with thousands of members?! I’m shocked actually. I’d love to hear how it is from some people I know, so if you’re reading this...
