Sex Goddess

I have, and adore, the (gorgeous) Goddess of Love and Perfume and when I was first given a sample of this one in a 4160 Tuesdays order I recognised it right away, but somehow I've never tried the Sexiest Scent despite sampling most of the range. This is crazy lovely - rich and jammy and smooth. After a few minutes the violet starts to come out, and as it dries down a bit more I get a hint of the oakmoss and soft musk. Good sillage and longevity too. I could definitely see a full bottle of this one coming my way.

Attractive and mysterious! It also has a sexy and sweet side that distinguishes it. Young parfume,i would like to have a cold day ... it's airy and a bit cold that makes it fascinating. Ideal for an evening, maybe in a rock concert in a small place, definitely not go unnoticed. Really very nice and interesting,very nice! Sillage: 7.5/10 Longevity: 8.5/10 Scent: 9/10 Overall: 8.5/10

I just received a sample of this in the latest Perfume Society box. BEAUTIFUL!! It reminds me of LUSH. Not any particular product; just the 'smell' or 'essence' of LUSH. Really hope this has a decent longevity, as it truly is gorgeous and would love to purchase a full bottle.

Not sure why this is called Sex Goddess because Fruit Goddess would've been more fitting. I'm picking up a lot of fruit, and not in a bad way. It's really quite good. Moderate sillage and longevity.

Probably the sexiest FRUTTY sex goddess that I've ever been! First try nothing special. Revisited a few years later LOVE!

Sex Goddess is the kind of perfume that walks into the room before you do, wearing six-inch heels, a red lip, and absolutely no shame. One spray and suddenly I’m a character in a 90s erotic thriller, except I’m still in my pyjamas and holding a Tesco meal deal. The opening hits like a fruit bowl that’s been left alone with a bottle of booze and bad intentions. There’s something sweet, something sticky, something floral, and something that whispers, “I make questionable decisions on weeknights.” Then the musk arrives - not a soft, angelic musk, but the kind that says, “I moisturise with body oil and confidence.” It’s warm, it’s skin-like, and it’s giving “I know exactly what I’m doing”, even if I absolutely do not. As it settles, the whole thing becomes a sweet, sultry, slightly chaotic cloud, like someone mixed vanilla, warm skin, and a hint of “I’m not texting him back but I am posting a thirst trap.” It’s bold. It’s flirty. It’s a little bit dangerous. It’s the perfume equivalent of a wink you weren’t prepared for. Do I feel like a sex goddess wearing it? No. I feel like a confused mortal who accidentally summoned one. Respect. This fragrance is out here living its best life, even if I’m just trying to remember where I put my keys.

290 I was excited about the notes here and it could have been a stunner just based on the fruity notes. Unfortunately it is so weak on fabric and skin that I can barely make out a fruity shampoo haze. It’s actually very weak for this brand. As I was waiting for the dry-down, not much more materialized once the strong alcohol burned off. Too bad! There’s a vague similarity to madness by chopard (pencil shavings and fruitiness on dry-down), but much weaker. 2/10-for aroma, extremely weak, has potential, no oakmoss smell(+ for me).

I get a blast of raspberry and currant fruitiness but then the cedar and oakmoss make me smell like the incense cones that my mother used to burn around Christmas. It's not bad, but I wasn't expecting Christmas memories out of a perfume called "Sex Goddess" XD I don't even know if I'm getting any of the flowers in there, just because particularly the ceder is so strong on me. I don't hate it though, so I'll probably put it away and bring it back out when it's colder and I feel festive.

I can see how this was made as a blend of two existing scents by 4160 Tuesdays - after sampling several I have a clearer sense of the house touch. Sex Goddess has that DNA but I think this is one of the most successful renditions of one of their familiar riffs (a slightly vintage fruity-floral chypre). This opened up citrusy and musky on me, and very alluring too. Soon after I get florals: violet, rose, jasmine; in some other scents by this house the violet comes off a little chalky on me but here the floral blend is very smooth and rounded. I find the jasmine is probably the strongest floral (and on occasion I am reminded of a sweeter version of Bottega Veneta with the jasmine, plum skin and oakmoss). I get the sharpness of the blackberry and that tannin-like quality of dark plum skin. Again, some others from this house have felt too much like fruit punch but this one is just lovely. I do get musk and an oakmoss vibe which keep the scent grounded and not too whimsical with just fruit and flowers. This blend is excellent and this has been an instant love for me. I have liked and found fun many other 4160 creations, but this one feels more rounded and whole. The downside? It becomes a skin scent on me after 2 hours.

This absolutely has the 4160s DNA. It opens with a fleeting moment of rubbery citric acid but this swiftly gives way to a soapy herbalness and that recognisable furzey element. A little fruitiness and a lot of musk. Now, I'm not a big fan of violet but I do like this one - as it dries down it wafts around me like a big fluffy cloud of floral violet candy floss. Definitely more suited to a flirty retro sex kitten, than a powerful modern goddess; it's sweet, unique, and coquettish. Projection is very soft, but I guess this is one to be appreciated in more intimate moments. I have to admit though, I think I'd be pretty mortified to tell someone what I was wearing if they asked. You need a Ron Burgundy level of confidence to look someone dead in the eye and say 'Sex Goddess!'

As spring is slowly coming here in the UK I have been wearing my sample of Sex Goddess the last couple of days and evenings. TBH this isn't my cup of tea. I love Sexiest Scent...but haven't tried Goddess of Love and Perfume, the other scent this is based on. I do smell Sexiest... a little in the top notes, but not afterwards. Despite this not being my thing, I have to say it's really lovely. There is the usual 4160 Tuesdays "zing" in there ( for want of a better word). There is a blast of raspberry then the violet peeks out. The longevity is great (lasts overnight).Sillage is moderate. This will be my next FB, I prefer it to Babylon Sunset it's that good!!

I didn't take to this too much first time round but I gave it a rest and went back to it and I am so glad I did because I have become totally obsessed with this complex powdery floral chypre. It's beautifully feminine and retro with its lily, rose, jasmine and violet being rounded off with a flourish of woods and oakmoss. I cannot stop wearing it. I am obsessed with fragrance but have worn nothing but this since my new bottle landed on my mat. Divinely addictive and terribly glamourous! I feel like a siren in it!

Thanks to a lovely fragrantican I get to sample this. Well as a whole i do like this. I get the raspberry and blackcurrant and the rose, and the combined effect is somewhat jammy. I don't sense any woods. As it develops the violet emerges. I think i sense the oakmoss but it's just a whisper nothing like the bases of vintage fume. Any heavier and it would dominate the fruits. I am happy with my little sample I know i would tire of a fb because that's how I am with fruity!

I bought this way too fast....It sounds lovely - it is quite nice. But only NICE I'm afraid. Not sex goddess at all. I'm sorry. Its jammy soft sweet melange that fades away too quickly and no particular note jumps out and grabs me. Kind of forgettable. I regret this review, as I know 4160 Tuesdays is a well loved house...but I chose wrong on this one.

Somehow the combination of the fruits and wood and oakmoss smell chocolate marshmallow to me. But it's very subtle and I can only smell it for a few minutes before it goes. I had high hopes for this one! Sexiest scent is my all time fave of 4610 tuesdays so I thought I would love this I don’t I like it Much nicer once it’s been on for a few hours but overall it’s disappointing
