Love love love this fragrance. What a work of art. It perfectly captures the scent of wandering into an old, dimly-lit English church to have a poke around. Cold, smoky, woody, and ever so slightly dusty (but giving respectable rather than off-putting vibes). Like sitting in a time-worn wooden pew taking in the lingering smell of candles that have been lit and snuffed out over the last hundred years. One of my go-to October fragrances for sure.

Perhaps this fragrance doesn't have any other reviews because Leontion has already described this scent so perfectly below! The Waft from the Loft really does capture this setting. It's definitely wood and perfumed smoke in an old religious building, and certainly a layer of dust is noticeably present! I find overall Waft gives an ambery, burnt, aftershavey impression.

Surprised to see this doesn't have any reviews. I'm a long time fan of the 4160 Tuesdays line. Sarah McCartney absolutely excels at creating narrative fragrances that really nail the brief. If you could capture the headspace of a monastic church, it would be pretty much this. Wooden pews, lingering incense, snuffed candle, dust, communion wine. Excellent stuff.
