4711 Remix Cologne Sparkling Island Edition 2023

'Art of living is the art of the right omission.' And there is indeed nothing to overload this beautiful summer scent. Wonderful tart and sparkly citrus, without deepening florals or much of a base - which I find delightful. To my nose the mentioned Light Blue has more clean musky fluffiness as a substantial base, just for reference. Many of the previous Remixes are pronounced on the florals, so I love where they went here. The mood suits its clear, bright white and blue design. Nothing dragging it down, and no window cleaner impressions at all, for me at least. Acqua di Parma Bergamotto di Calabria is the only other summer citrus fragrance I like this much. Citrus is hard to do - I love this one. It's a true summer EdC, so spray liberally and often. Great for layering too.

I struggle a lot with finding perfumes I like in summer because on hot days the perfumes I normally like all feel too strong and sweet for me. Even the other 4711 remixes are too strong and sweet for me on hot days. This isn't that at all. It's so fresh and light. The flipside is that you need to spray it often and liberally, but I actually prefer that for summer perfumes bc it also means the scent isn't too strong. Also I paid 16€ for 100 ml, so I'm very ok with spraying lots of it. So yeah I've you're looking for something similar to light blue, but even fresher (imo) and with way better value for money, try this ;)

I sampled it in the local drug store. I know the whole Remix line, they deliver a good quality fresh summer cologne, the only one I did not like was Neroli. This one has lime in focus: it has the bubbly freshness, sourness and also a slight tartness of lime peel. I found it very appealing - it is what it is, a fresh, optimistic summer citrus one can mercilessly spray all over, at this price. I still have a full bottle of last year's grapefruit Remix, and very much looking forward to 4711 Acqua Colonia Summer Editions, but otherwise I might consider buying it. Consider it a fresh, light body spray and you won't be disappointed.

Totally unisex even though it seems to be marketed to women. The performance is better than I expected. Still got whiffs of it 5 hours later. And I can smell it on my clothes the next day. The smell is fresh and inoffensive. Citrus with very little else.

Dolce blue (and many relatives)’s sister but crafted with a very good taste, at least. Not agressive at all, on the contrary. Love it. Edit: my 22y old son stole it and uses it everyday. Nice on him!

This is super similar to Light Blue .... Suuuper similar , but but but... Last 1h , but for the price I paid like 8 euros this is a steal

This version was inspired by Mykonos and the Mediterranean. I wouldn’t call this flanker an aquatic but it’s less citrus (lemon, mandarin, Orange) than other Remix, still fresh but relying more on the lime, green apple and musk. Imagine a light version of a Eternity Summer flanker. Projection is 4711, no surprises there. Sillage is terrible, one of the shortest lived colognes of the whole line. But for a casual scent Sparkling Island is a good choice.

Disgusting. Heavy, pefumey, trying too hard, very unpleasant, genuinely suffocating. I would rather wear Toskovat's Inequsable Evil.

This is a soft and creamy citrus scent. It smells clean and relaxing. Pretty safe for everyday.
