In Too Deep

I really enjoy this perfume! It's in the same scent family as the sol de janeiro 59 mist, the main difference is the bergamot top note in this one. The longevity is pretty bad. I get 3 hours max and I feel like I'm being generous saying that. I guess I'm going to be layering this with cheirosa 59 to get the most out of it. If strength and longevity is super important to you, I would skip this one. Edit: After having and wearing this for over 5 months I have fallen head over heels for this perfume! The longevity is still garbage, but the smell of this perfume is heavenly to me.😍 I personally think it's still worth it to repurchase. I'm addicted.

shocked at how addicted i am to this fragrance. i really didn’t think i was into vanilla as a major note in fragrances in general––i didn’t know it could be as light and sparkly as this! in too deep is a surprisingly springy scent, and work-friendly in my experience. cute!!! nice!!! simple. and i typically lean towards masculine and unisex fragrances so i’m having fun here like. idk man i’ve been trying to find the right words to describe it for a few days but that’s just not happening lol it just happens to be great for me. i fuck with this brand’s mission and philosophy too. <3

I love love love this scent!!! A beautiful true warm vanilla. I don't smell the bergamot in it at all (and thankfully). It's warm and cozy for fall and winter, but not too gourmand, you can wear it year round. I see myself wearing this daily, I love it so much! It also lasts hours, I don't understand the reviews saying it barely lasts. Love it!!

I really love this. A beautiful, sweet, a little salty vanilla. There's citrus and a bit of creaminess. Gorgeous, it makes me happy. I have a travel spray and would be interested in a bigger bottle. Great for any season or time of day. Love.

This smells really nice. It almost pulls slightly minty on my skin. Very sweet. Addicting in my opinion.

sugary sweet sandalwood bliss... my sandalwood dream <3

I love vanillas and this was no exception. As the 3rd in the 5 sens discovery set, it's been my favorite so far. Its a sugary sweet vanilla without being too cloying like many in this category can be. May not work in super hot or humid climates but I think this is vanilla that could be worn in areas with mild summers or in the evening as the temps start to drop a little. With that said, it's also not very interesting. The sandalwood gives it a woody touch to the dry down and the bergamot helps to keep this from just being a sugary sweet vanilla. But the vanilla market has tons of options and u find this hard to compete with its poor longevity and sillage. At a good sale, I would get this and just spray away. Otherwise, I'll spend half the price on an an ME vanilla that performs well and seems more interesting to me.

this is a really fun summer vanilla! I don't think this perfume is citric or tart by any means, but the bergamot and sugar give it a bright, sparkling quality in the opening. it maintains a sense of fluffy weightlessness throughout wear which makes it a perfect warm-weather gourmand. the sandalwood is creamy and smooth, and the musk is soft and fresh. I do think this is really similar to cheirosa 59, but that smells a bit more powdery and lacks the bright opening. in too deep doesn't project very strongly, but it lasts pretty well (especially considering it's made with clean ingredients). i don't think there's anything particularly groundbreaking about it, and I wouldn't say it's a necessary purchase, but it's a cute, effortless vanilla for the summer time that most people would enjoy.

Doesn't smell like bergamot, but the opening is bright, sweet, and sharp. Reminds me of the warmer cousin of Milk. I can't figure out what the note is, but there is something past the vanilla sugar that is sophisticated, tart, and sexy. Reminds me a lot too of Life of the Party. That currant/saffron note feels like it should be in here, even though it's not in the notes. I like it a lot. Definitely a crowd pleaser, though I can see how some might say it's too sweet or sharp. Curious about the longevity because it feels strong at first.

This perfume is nice but in the dry down it ends up smelling kind of cheap to me . Really reminds me of some old bath and body works scent . I can’t remember, it almost settles down into a sweet pea . When I first sprayed it , it reminded me of dedcool taunt but not anymore . Idk it’s youthful but doesn’t seem as good of quality as the rest of their scents . I’ve tried all of them .

I like a woody vanilla perfume and this kinda surprise me. It’s sweet in the opening but not very woody in the dry down. I just wished it to be stronger and long lasting. Cause it wears off after a few minutes that I put it on. Not even stronger for a skin scent. If they will release a stronger concentration, it will be definitely on top of my favorite vanilla scents.

the most beautiful, sparkling sugar, citrus and sandalwood vanilla scent. the musk is there, too. very weak but i love it so much when i use up my travel i'll upgrade to the 1oz. just respray as needed. any season, any occasion, versatile and pleasant.

This vanilla is very very crisp. I don’t know how else to put it. I guess powdery? It feels like sand. I like it it’s very interesting.

Bright and sweet, but not cloying. It's a pretty almost sparkly vanilla that dries down to a creamy skin scent. Super cute!!

Ultimately, In Too Deep is a well-blended but familiar take on the vanilla-musk DNA. If you enjoy powdery, marshmallow-leaning scents that feel soft and unpretentious, this is a solid choice. However, if you're looking for something with structural complexity or high-impact performance, you may find this a bit too quiet and repetitive.

This has smelled slightly different on me the last few times I wore it. I definitely can see the reference to milk+. This is slightly spicy today almost giving cheap or synthetic sandalwood vibes on my skin. The last time I wore it, it was a creamy vanilla and sandalwood with the bergamot kind of keeping everything light and airy. I’ve never had a fragrance smell like two totally different things upon wearing but either way, both scent profiles I picked up on were okay. Nothing special but not bad at all. There’s no longevity for me which is disappointing. If I wear a scented lotion with this, I can only smell the lotion and this is gone before I can even comprehend what notes I’m getting. This is my least favorite of the five sens fragrances I own. This one also has the weakest longevity.

Testing this on my skin and my initial thought is that it reminds me Commodity’s Milk+. I didn’t get much bergamot. I get the sweetness from the sugar, but not in a cloying way. Then I immediately get the vanilla and sandalwood. I’m not sure about longevity, but projection would be about arm’s length. This could be worn at the office and in casual settings.
