Boss Bitch

The opening is AMAZING to my nose, very complex and chocolatey, but then the drydown, while beautiful, for some reason makes me nauseous. This is a me problem, not a fragrance problem, but I wanted to mention that. Scent-wise, it's well-blended, but you can actually smell every note if you focus. Boss Bizznitch gets comically stronger by the hour, and in terms of duration, the stuff is NUCLEAR. 14 hours later, I still smell it stronger than a skin scent. The bottle should last me a minimum 10 years, which makes the expensive price of entry actually affordable in the grand scheme. One tiny spray is almost too much. Don't overspray this unless you want people to hate you despite wearing the most expensive fragrance in the room. Smells girly-leaning, but if you can pull it off as a man, do it. I did, ha-ha! Why is the stuff so expensive? The exotic ingredients are basically unobtanium, difficult and complex to process and super pricey, so yeah...$480 sans coupon if your conscience allows it. Black Orchid from Tom Ford is nice but smells like a Fisher-Price fragrance in comparison. Nothing smells like Boss Biznitch. You need to buy at the least a sample if you want to experience it.

I get jasmine, coconut, dark chocolate and peach in that order. The patchouli and musk fall into the background, while the rest seems too blended in or light stand out. There is something in this that reminds me of the real Siberian deer musk I’ve tried. Kinda reminds me of Sayat Nova plus chocolate, or a more gourmand Black Orchid minus the oily truffle. It’s dark, dense, brooding, and kinda “meaty”, I think of dark chocolate brownies drowning in savory demi-glacé. It’s very interesting, there’s a lot of disparate notes playing off each other, fading in and out, evolving and changing every minute. It’s a safe blind buy if you like Black Orchid. Unisex VERY noticeable in the air, it’s thick, you can taste it almost chew it! Long lasting and projecting.

Rich chocolate-covered cherry. The oud or the patch are very intense at first, so you won't get the best experience if you put your nose into it in the first few seconds. This is not a teeny bopper cherry, but something for an adult (with confidence and sex appeal). Moderate projection and six hours on my skin, though the first three hours are the best.

This is for the sophisticated, daring lion heart. It comes in with such confidence making those who don't have those who have it, cower. The oud is what I love most. I instantly described it as the woman who know one understands and yet everyone instantly want's to become.

She is the boss, but she can be sweet too. Don't let oud notes mistake you - it's a peach/toned-down cherry/flower fragrance but so well blended that you will struggle to pick every single note. Definitely for boss girls up there who know what they want. Great fragrance for suits.
