Supersonic

I got my supersonics today! I waited all day for the mailman to come before spraying anything on which is unheard of for me. Supersonic is very reminiscent of supernova. To my nose, it seems Aaron took the building blocks of Supernova and reconstructed it from the ground up and threw a few more notes in the mix. It has the characteristics reminiscent of BR540 EDP from what I can tell. It doesn’t smell like br540 but its performs similar to br540. Some people think its crazy strong, some can’t even smell it at all. Light, Airy, Radiant. The sillage and projection of this stuff is pretty crazy. Enough to fill a room or leave a trail in the supermarket. If you smell it on skin its so strong you go nose blind. But in the air it’s constantly radiating off the skin. Upon first spray you get a heavy dose of citruses that are crisp sweet smooth but never scratchy, almost creamy like. The vetiver musk and ambergris seem to stay throughout the whole experience from start to finish. Once you get to the dry down you get wafts of sweet pineapple apple and salty fresh sea notes that radiate off the skin like crazy. The base of vetiver patchouli musks ambergris & oak moss are always lingering in the background. I dont get the ginger at all. After about 4 hours I decided to try the layering combo of supersonic and supernova and it was so strong that I almost couldn’t handle it. Total overload at first. I can see the combo being headache inducing to be honest. Once they both dried down it was amazing tho. The total package for a summer freshy! If you are a fan of supernova I highly recommend you trying this stuff out.. If you try the layering I recommend going easy on the sprays. Overall an amazing summer banger that will always have a place in my collection.

This is definitely close to Aventus, perhaps closer to Aventus Cologne as it’s not Smokey. It’s definitely smoother/more sophisticated smelling (perhaps why the Elysium references by some reviewers) and to my nose is a nicer smelling version of the Aventus DNA (and Aventus has been for years a favourite perfume for me). Both Aventus and Montblanc Explorer are what i would say “rougher” masculine scents, and this is a “smoother/sophisticated, yet very masculine” scent. To me it approaches the sophisticated feel of Elysium, but more masculine (though to be fair my only criticism of Elysium is that while sophisticated, it smells “busy” with so many notes that are actually discernible). Supersonic is smooth and sophisticated, and though it’s definitely not simple or linear, it’s not got the complexity (nice way to say busyness) of Elysium. This scent is underrated for how good it is; perhaps people are more used to Aventus clones that are beast mode scents, but all very rough or screechy (yes all the Arab dupes- they may get the scent profile, but they smell cheap, and strong. Some people like that; I don’t).

Idiots and haters can talk ALL THE SHIT THEY WANT. The bottom line is this smells amazing, and barely at all like Aventus aside from the fact it's citric. Women friends at my work say this and Supernova are their favorites that I have been wearing this summer, and I just got two compliments at a F'n GAS STATION, one outside and one from the check out lady off of two measly sprays from my 10ml bottle (missed getting a large bottle so I bought multiple 10mls haha). In general my most complimented frag this past summer. Strong as hell in the best way, and lasts a good 8+ hours. Less juicy opening than Supernova but more overall projection and strength, def some sort of molecule in there pushing this scent into the stratosphere.

Supersonic is the only one perfume from Aaron Terence Hughes that I love.. it is 99% copy of aventus/Hacivate/Elysium but Supersonic is a very good one.. so It is worth every penny. But the rest of Aaron Terence Hughes fragrances are so over priced and so over hyped.. Finally I got most of his fragrances here in New York from Maxaroma, my God they are so over priced..and they are nothing special at all...To me very synthetic smelling..so sample first please before buying a full bottle.. I think most of the reviewers on Youtube got his fragrances for free from him thats why they pushing his products... Anyway Only from his all fragrances.. Supersonic is a good one if you like the Aventus/Hacivate/Elysium DNA..

I’m not sure how previous posts have described ATH’s fragrances as overpriced, when you consider the 35% concentration and ingredients used. The whole idea of the brand is that it doesn’t tread the increasingly familiar designer path and does things differently for little more than designers prices (if you consider concentration) Not everybody will like all or any of his fragrances, nor should they. This one though seems to me to be halfway house between Aventus and Elysium, but smoother than both. A winner.

It has the Aventus DNA, yes. More like Hacivat, imo. Supersonic adds its own twist and a prominent green apple note. To me it's like the Aventus DNA with some hacivat and PDM Greenley, if I had to compare it to things I've tried. Smells better than all 3 of those btw. Maybe it's not so original, but it performs incredibly, and gets tons of compliments. Everytime I've worn it so far I've received a compliment, and my girlfriend loves it. Just a no brainer for the spring/summer imo.

Smells quite similar to supernova and could probably even pass as a flanker or a reworked version. To be honest though I think I still prefer Supernova over Supersonic. Although, supersonic is still very good imo. It also reminded me of something and I couldn't think what it was then it hit me Club de nuit Intense man. So it obviously has that Aventus smell as well it's maybe the Pineapple and Oak Moss notes.

Amazing well built elegant but powerful fragrance, my first from ATH and im very impressed. Wore it a load and im pretty noseblind to it but everyone around me says its a great very strong fragrance and i think it will be a staple to buy for anyones scent of the summer. People say that Havicat is a more sophisticated aventus, but this is a more sophisticated Havicat.

Exceptional quality fragrance with great performance and powerful projection and Sillage. This is an all rounder and a great interpretation of the Aventus/Hacivat DNA. Might become my new signature scent. Scent 10/10 Projection 9/10 Longevity 9/10 Sillage 10/10 Overall 9.5/10

If I had to choose this or supernova I would definitely choose supersonic. This release is more balanced and improved with performance on my skin. In base reminds me a bit of neon which is sadly discontinued.

An absolutely beautiful fragrance. Reminds me of both aventus and hacivat in different ways but goes in a different direction. The vetiver really pops for me, almost terre d’hermes style. 9/10

Aventus + Tygar = Supersonic Aaron really used his creativity, or call it inspiration and took the best from two worlds and mixed them in a bottle Scent is simple yet beautiful 9/10

Ffffresh supernova on steroids. Wore it yesterday at a school concert and pretty sure everyone there got to experience it. Layer with ATH blue fever for full blast POWER,.

Opens up really fresh! Big citrus blast that is lovely and smooth at the same time. Dries down lovely and lasts ages! Wonderful summer scent.

A nice take on the Aventus DNA Supersonic is the last ATH I'm reviewing (for a couple of months at least) and it's honestly a great interpretation of the Aventus DNA. To my nose it's leaning a bit more towards Aventus Cologne since I find this more citrus forward and less woody and smokey than the original Aventus. Some people say the apple note is really prominent here but I don't get that at all, which I don't mind since I don't usually like apple notes. Performance was decent overall and considerably better than Aventus Cologne. Sillage was on the light side but I could smell it for several hours while resting and moving around. Projection seemed moderate to strong as my mom was sitting 3 to 4 feet away from me in the hospital's waiting room for a few hours and later she told me she thought she was smelling the doctor's cologne but it was me. Longevity was good too, it reached 8 hours, but at that point there was only a light musk skin scent.

This is not an Aventus dupe. Don’t listen to kids who just found out about fragrances from TikTok. This is a high-quality citrus–fruity ambroxan fragrance. It’s similar to a lot of things out there, but, as usual with ATH, it’s taken up a notch. The ingredients are clearly high quality, and it really shows. To my nose, it’s more in line with things like Elysium; it has that signature Aaron ambroxan that’s better than any ambroxan I’ve smelled in anything else. Safe, loud, high-quality, and wearable year-round.

@Vvsberg Lol every single comment of you on ATH is just hate and you don't even have a sample to test it out. You cream on every single Creed fragrance, did Creed pay you to write reviews? At least smell the perfume before actually writing a review, or else just use your time to do something else better. 😂 😂 😂 Even The Fragrance Apprentice praises Armaf Milestone and crap on Millésime Impérial. You are just a clown 🤡 buddy.

Lighter, brighter, easier to wear than Supernova. Less aventus crap dna. I've been a fan of ATH since 2019.

This smells similar to the drydown of gentle fluidity silver

I arrived home this afternoon and I opened up my package that contained supersonic. I’ve already had Supernova and sold my bottles because it didn’t last long on me and I didn’t like it better than my Aventus Cologne. However, I chose to give Supersonic a shot since there was praise for the added Vetiver and I figured that it would extend/push the life of the fragrance on my skin. After spraying Supersonic It doesn’t smell much different than Supernova. However there is Vetiver there which offers a slight difference in the opening and mid after the dry down. I love many of Aaron’s releases but to be honest, this flanker is a bit of a disappointment. It smells like the combination of layering Supernova on top of his other fragrance, Guapo. I know that Aaron is sensitive about his work, as all artists are. But I honestly wish he’d get back to making scents that are not so mass appealing and get back in the lab to experiment with more sweet ouds which he works well with.

Yea its another Aventus dupe. Do you know how I know? It smells fantastic for about 10 minutes and then about 30 minutes later, its gone. The pineapple is less apparent with this release, and it is very masculine. I think it smells better than Aventus and all the flankers. I have tried all Aventus flankers and a good 10 dupes. The only one that performs on my skin is CDNIM Limited Edition. Its heavy on the pineapple and performs for 8 hours, but its only about 80% Aventus and Supersonic smells so much better. Who cares what it smells like if it only lasts an hour.. I need to try the new CDNIM Extrait.

Aventus cologne Ginger, mandarin, vetiver, patchouli, pineapple. Aventus apple, bergamot, oak moss, Ambergris, musk. Those are the notes he took from Aventus/Aventus cologne which is his base to build around. he just added sea notes and grapefruit. took away blackcurrant, birtch, lemon, jasmine. You have to be an idiot not not know this fact lol then with supernova he made a flanker supersonic all he did was flip the order of notes and added Vetiver and lemon this is common sense😂. His Aventus is Supernova his Aventus Cologne is Supersonic but there based off making a hybrid Aventus/Aventus Cologne combined with an added sea note. He flipped the note order as well then slap a label on it and called it supersonic😂 this is Facts not delusional like glazers 👌 don’t be mad that he himself said out his own mouth he build supersonic off of Aventus just his twist the back bone is 98% Aventus same with supersonic he just change order of notes of both and added the sea note facts on facts. He is no real perfumer and him doing this proves it. His fragrances is damn near off the market and it’s not because of demand dude is a scammer copy and paste influencer not a perfumer. He even said he wants to make a green Irish tweed version then what would u say he didn’t copy green Irish tweed as well lol the man said these things out his own mouth.

Another Aventus knock off. Aron hates on creed but yet supernova supersonic are Aventus knock offs 😂 just go buy Aventus and Aventus cologne instead man.

This is Not exactly Aventus; the differences being it is more Juicy Fruity, and has this Sweet Mandarin Orange note that neither Aventus nor any of it's inspirations have, it is way less Musky, Mossy, Woody than the Aventus adjacent scents it doesn't have any Birch accord that that style of DNA is known for. Supersonic also has a refreshing Aquatic, Marine note giving it a Watery, Oceanic feel. To me this is more like take the idea of Office for Men, MB Explorer and combine it with that juicy fruit medley opening of Elysium; and add a sweet Orange and Aquatic Notes. It's the final form and evolution of the DNA that Aaron started with Neon, became Supernova, and Supersonic is the most smoothed out well blended form. I do find Alexandria's Executive Order smells pretty similar but I prefer Supersonic because of the Sweet Orange, and Aquatic notes.

I will start by saying this is a great fragrance. It's not a 1:1 of Aventus, but it's damn near it. It has aspects of other frags but keeps the Aventus vibe. Overall, I would buy this if it were a lot cheaper here in the States. I've tried a bunch of Arron's fragrances over the years, and I have never really liked his stuff. It's very overhyped and isn't near the performance that people describe, at least not on my skin. It is also very overpriced here in the US. It's funny that the best fragrance I've tried from ATH is an Aventus Alt. It lasts a long time, but it sits pretty close to the skin and fabric. It smells smooth, but at the same time, it doesn't pop off the skin in the opening; it's almost slightly muted. If it were discounted to under $150 USD for 100ml, I'd consider it. 50ml in the US is going for $200+.

Ok girls settle down now, the comments are getting way to personal, get back to your classes. As far as ATH he does have some good smelling fragrances, but he has bad business skills He never has products because he makes small quantities so he should disclose that, and when he has a date for a re-stock he either misses or he doesn’t have enough, oh well, he is no Dior, Tom Ford, or YSL, his artistic sensitivity will be his downfall. As far as copying other fragrances, EVERYONE IS COPYING EACH OTHER, everything out here now smells familiar, just look at the smells like section.

people will smell one recognizable note to Aventus and will flip out...i dont think they realise how different fragrances can have similar notes. Yes, this does have its Aventus hints but in its own, unique way. These Aventus fanboys rlly need to calm down

This is ATH’s version of Aventus. It’s clear as day. And it’s incredibly well done. I’d take this over Aventus any day. It’s very fresh, sweet, fruity, and woody. Perfect summer scent. If you wanted a guaranteed strong ass Aventus, order this. It’s great.

I much prefer the supernova opening, although this is nice too, but this drydown is much more pleasant and wearable than that skreetchy Oakmoss bomb supernova morphs into. It's supersonic for the win. Good stuff!! Smells nothing like Office. Wtf 🤦♀️

Every cologne with a pineapple note will be compared to Aventus. This has great performance and is far from a clone of Aventus, especially when it dries down. I’m satisfied with my blind buy 10ml purchase. I prefer this over ATH Guapo

This is a very nice Aventus clone and probably one of the best I've encountered. Side notes: This one is a money grab, and I'm not sure why he would put this in his portfolio. There is nothing unique here...

Hmm I feel like Haze was his best take on Aventus - without copying it! Supernova and supersonic they are okay... Agree he Aaron should trim down his collection and streamline production.
