Voyageurs

Intensely green. Reminds me of wading through waist high greenery after a rain. Probably my favorite from the house in how unique and evocative of its setting it is. I get close to all day performance with moderate to soft sillage. Great price too. Surprised this house gets basically zero talk.

I got this as part of Abbott's Inland Exploration Kit, and honestly I wasn't expecting to like it much since the ozone and violet notes didn't sound appealing. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance. While I'd consider it a "unisex" fragrance, the violet scent is mild and less flowery than some other men's fragrances I've tried that include jasmine, rose or lavender. The amber musk note gives it some depth. I can't identify "ozone" as a distinct scent. Unlike the other Abbott fragrances from the inland kit which seem more casual, I think Voyageurs would work well with business or formal attire.

I bought the explorer kit. Chose Voyagers and took a sniff. Um...fully on masculine as far as I'm concerned. So, I sprayed on my husband. He likes it. It's green on him. Not sure of the notes that are listed in this section. I just get greens. But if he decides to like it enough to purchase then a purchase will occur. But, still have about 6 other scents to explore.

Delicate, airy. Clean, and a little soapy. The scent of a pine breeze, not the pine itself. Unisex but leans masculine. The fragrances from this house confuse me. They are all light and some don't smell like much, but then they are all distinct from one another. Like shades of white paint.

Got the “exploration” discovery set. Have tried all but two. I had high hopes, but am not impressed. Most either smell like a scented candle, as Voyageurs does, or like a teen boy who overdid the cheap body spray. Voyageurs evokes a pine scented candle or air freshener. I actually like a pine scent, but not when it skews simple or artificial, as this one does. Definitely leans more masculine than unisex. Also no longevity and little silage, which is fine by me as these are not scents I care to project.
