Juzur Al Qamar

I wrote the review below when I first got these samples and tried them for a week or so after. However, after letting them sit for a couple of months, I picked this one up again, and it's simply magic! Musky, coconut, Ylang-Ylang. Those are the primary notes, along with some vanilla and the slightest touch of white tropical florals. It's really stunning. The moral of the story is, let these rest! - - - - - - - - - - - (Original review) I almost feel guilty voting this a "dislike," because I think the problem is more me than the scent itself. And in defense of the house, this is the only one out of 7 samples I received that was a dislike. My issue is as with most coconut scents, it turns to plastic on my skin. And I know it's my skin because I've put these on clothing and don't have the same problem. But oil is hard to put on clothing. But the other issue is that it really doesn't smell like the notes listed. I get no vanilla, no musk (or very little). No flowers. On me it's a dry fruit somewhere between Molinard Mure and Tresor. . . That's if I sniff it from the stick applicator. And since I have both those (well, a flanker of the Tresor), this is unnecessary. I would have liked for it to at least SOMEWHAT resemble the notes listed! I've tested multiple times and it's still the same.

This perfume starts as a coconut dominant sweet tropical loton on my skin. I'm not at all a fan of these kind of scents but it's very nice and actually pleasant. After one hour t dries down to a comfy, very beautifully blended sweet but not overwhelming, slightly floral vanllia scent. Very pretty, luxurious vanillia for any ocassion: it's perfect as a comfortng perfume for a weekend spent at home but also great for work or even for a night out. A real, warm, skin-but-better scent, that can actually be unisex.

This Is a delicious coconut, vanilla, musky fragrance . Sweet and sensual! perfect for a date. Long lasting longevity with soft-moderate sillage!
