Tataouine

Wow!!! Definitely took me back to Tunisia and my youth!! The Jasmine is so strong at the beginning that I was instantly transported to Sousse, Kairouan, Sidi Bou Said or even Hammamet, holding a mashmoom. For those who have never spend summer in Tunisia, mashmooms are man-made individual bouquets of tightly wrapped Jasmine flowers. A pure delight. This perfume dries down to something softer, less flowery and very pleasant and subtle. There's only a short transition phase where I was unsure of the smell as it reminded me of posh air freshener but thankfully this didn't last more than 10 minutes. This scent is simple yet complex at the same time. If you like Jasmine you will love this. I think it's more a summer fragrance. I totally understand the fuss made about this house. I bought a few more perfume oils and can't get over how fantastic they all are.

Beautiful creamy powdery white musk with non-indolic jasmine. Smells good on men and women both!

This is a Jasmine Floral Flower Bomb. This is Jasmine on the vine, the aroma floating through your open window on a warm still night. The oil is rounded out with floral notes, a slight peppery carnation tone. Gorgeous sweet flavours which compliment the soft, creamy Jasmine petals. Wonderful to wear out for dining under the warm eastern sky at sunset. Sensual but not overwhelming. Longevity will last you a long sultry evening and radiates enough to turn heads to find where that perfect fragrance is originating from.

Well water projects light onto the ceiling of the cave. The scent of jasmine and murraya drifts in on the humid air...Later,by the river, you smell the first drops of rain hitting hot rocks. This is the most refreshing dirty jasmine sambac scent. It's singly unusual in that it is jasmine plus petrichor. There's this fascinating light on water feel. Overall the most amazing summer scent but bear in mind, this is very dirty compared to many western scents. The longevity is excellent, projection, not enormous. I keep finding myself reaching for it on hot days.

Abdul Karim Al Faransi’s ‘Tataouine’ is all about the jasmine and reminds me of Al Rehab’s ‘Full’ but not a fresh as there’s that Arabian metallic note again. It’s nice but not mind-blowing. Let’s see what else it’s going to do... Edit: It does nothing else apart from the jasmine fading to become a close skin-scent as this has the shortest silage of the range.

my god this is lovely. i'm not even into jasmine particularly, but *this* ... jasmine, a honey note, warm white musk ... comforting, warm, not too strong ... it's what i have wanted all the other white/abiyad/tahara musks to be. perfect.
