The sales assisant who hails from my parents homeland of Egypt(I am Australian) was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bottle/flacon is truly beautifully designed. The smell...let me say this, If you want only one bottle of oud perfume, this is it. Magnificent. Although out of my budget at the moment, I will definitely be adding this gem to my collection...Now is a good time to buy with Ramadan at this time.discounts are offered...It retails for about 1000AED.for 100ml. However I did not leave empty handed.I purchased their musk based air freshener.Smells wonderful as so do the rest of this line..Thanks again for the review and helping me discover this Brand.

This is an Oud lover's dream come true. A resinuous blend of high quality Oud oils in perfume form, this is an absolutely amazing offering from the masters of Arabian perfumery Abdul Samad Al Quraishi. The very natural smelling juice is very spiritual, reflective, enlightening and ultimately very moving. This is not barnyardish Laotian Oud, but more of a piney resinous Malaysian/Sri Lankan variety. Right from the moment it lands on your skin, it begins to glow and shine with its natural beauty. Perfectly unisex with moderate to strong sillage, longevity and projection. The bottle it comes in (not the one pictured on this site - check it out at ASAQ website) is a work of Islamic art in itself. Simply astounding!

Dahn Oud Ateeque is claimed to only be composed of aged Indian oud and nothing else, which is very interesting considering the variety of different notes people are voting for on fragrantica. This definitely has complexity to it. The oud itself is dry and earthy, it’s got dark connotations with very gentle animalistic edges. However, it’s also got a definite freshness about it - this is very reminiscent of soapy white florals and citrus fruits, but apparently these are not present whatsoever. This fragrance is actually very affordable, and so I suppose the quality is actually very good considering. It’s not a love for me but that doesn’t make this a bad scent, I actually think it’s great for the right person.

@poboijosh is spot on. I can't believe this is just Oud. It's absolutely stunning and a masterpiece. I detect the absolute slightest bit of oud and the rest is the smoothest scent to hit me in a long long time. I can't describe notes because it's Oud but doesn't smell like it. What comes to mind is khasab al Oud but much more refined and a bit spicier. And the packaging is amazing as well. Comes in a large coffin with a pewter stand and a bag of bakhoor, and that smells amazing as well. I just ordered a backup as I don't want to run out of this one. Easily the most public friendly Oud scent ever created. Wear with complete abandon...
