Thank You to Svatlana for adding this fragrance. There’s much to say about this fragrance and I don’t know where to start. I think it’s because I have mixed feelings about the overall experience. I won’t waste your time with the top notes because like any other fragrance they dissipate quickly. The leather note is very prominent and pronounced. It’s not my favorite leather. It’s a very cheap smelling leather that smells as if it was soaked in a light Caro syrup and then hung out to dry. This doesn’t sound appeasing does it? It’s because it shouldn’t be. But you wear this fragrance..it doesn’t wear you. That may be the wrong way to express my feeling but this fragrance catches compliments like no other. It’s not in your face but it refuses to be ignored. It is the Scent equivalent to the guy that you aspire to be at the party. Not the immature nuisance but not the wall flower. It blends in but it also completely stands alone. Strong Points: this is a rare bird that will cost you niche prices. Fetching an upwards if $500 per 100 ml bottle ...you’re not gonna find yourself at a bar with twenty other people wearing this scent. It’s bold but it can be pulled off by anyone wanting to dress it up or dress it down. Three piece suit or sandals and tshirt...it’s versatile. Any season day or night this could be your signature scent. If you live in a moderately humid and hot climate ...you may wanna save this $5 per ml juice for the cooler days. I wouldn’t wear it in a Mississippi Summer but I would sport it in SoCal all year round. Weaknesses: Not the best Bergamot, Not the best Citruses, definitely not the best leather by today’s standards. The musk is in the back ground and is synthetically unremarkable. Closing statement: Even with all its mediocre ingredients and synthetic scent...the perfumer who arranged this knew what they were doing. They mixed all this basic run of the mill unappealing ingredients and made you the best homemade breakfast you’ve ever eaten.

This is the staple, the base, the father of all modern leather fragrances. It has uplifting fresh Aventus vibes going on with a masterfully executed leather (which kinda reminds me of a fresh leather car interior in a very good way). Performance is phenomenal, fills rooms just by “unscrewing” the cap, and yes it is an amazing bottle design with real leather cover and screw cap, both the bottle and the scent exceeds expectations dramatically. I have no idea how much this would cost nowadays since this fragrance is nearly 20 years old now (just 4 years younger than me :D), but I should say that this is a very “modern smelling” fragrance. 10/10 in every aspect. Ps. This fragrance is my dad’s signature scent for nearly 20 years now, I am worried that we won’t find another bottle of this masterpiece soon, so sad that this got discontinued :’)

I own two bottles of this fragrance. It reminds me of an earthier, soapier, more leathery Aventus. The leather accord in this reminds me of actual leather - as apposed to the leather of Tom Ford's Hombre Leather, which does not. That said, the performance of Ezra Fitch does not come close to the performance of the latter. I would like to note that this fragrance was released 4 years prior to Aventus. Were this widely available and reasonably priced, I'd be more inclined to wear it more often. As it stands, the fragrance is (seemingly) forever discontinued and I'd rather hold onto what I have for memories sake. If you're a collector of Abercrombie & Fitch fragrances or of discontinued fragrances of this genre, then you'll have no other option than to pay exorbitant prices to get your hands on it. However, if you are neither - the fragrance does not justify the expense. If you'd like to experience something similar - I'd choose to purchase Club De Nuit Intense Man. It's of similar quality and scent profile.

It's funny leaving a review nobody will ever read haha but yeah this was my first love. First time having a woman stop me in school and asking me what I was rocking. I can't believe this only has two reviews? Maybe fragrantica didn't exist back then but DUA fragrances has launched a clone of this. Only 40 in stock and mine arrived today. It needs time to macerate but my god, it's identical. So if you are looking to experience this, it's called "duas Fitch cologne" and it's so god damn nostalgic to me. It's really weird how some fragrances can smell like the 90s / 80s etc. this takes me back to better times. No compliments but I'm determined

I have a full bottle of this. No rust on the metal like I’ve seen in pictures online. It smells good but I didn’t know it was so rare and in demand. Now I am afraid to spray it.
