The opening is delicious, very sharp, sour, fresh, and very pleasant. The intense green apple is prominent, delectable, this note is very intense. Very close is the pineapple, also a very tasty note, sour and sweet. One or two steps behind at the lavender, orange blossom, and cardamom. The lavender and orange blossom introduce a unisex, clean, and fresh floral note, not as prominent as the fruits but noticeable, and it provides a light floral accord to the fragrance giving it a spring vibe. The cardamom is as noticeable as the floral notes, the cardamon comes across as a sweet, resinous, spicy, and slightly bitter note. Creating a projecting, sharpening, and fresh woody background are the sandalwood, musk, and cedar. The sandalwood is a sweet touch; however, the musk and cedar are much more noticeable. The musk is an enhancing and projecting accord, it supports the fruity notes making them feel sharp, a slightly lemony musk, inoffensive but projecting. Finally, the cedar adds its fresh woody touch which makes the fragrance fresh and vibrant. The fragrance has a very little opening to dry down changes, the only subtle change is the projection moving down from strong to moderate. A good clean, fresh with some sweetness that combines a blue, aromatic and aquatic note proportions. It has a similar vibe with most of the scents mentioned below but, whomever says that it's identical to Invictus Aqua '16 or '18, YSL Y edt, edp or fraiche and the rest mentioned are a bit off. True, it has elements from them but, it goes it's own route especially with the addition of lavender to give it that cleanness and pineapple leaf combined with the orange blossom to give it that fruity sweetness. That slight sweetness stays for most of the scents duration with a light woods from the cedar and musk to round it off. Duration is not its strong point so, give yourself a few extra sprays. That's an easy fix for those that complain about performance issues that this juice has. It smells good, won't offend a soul and it's dirt cheap. What else do you want? I don't understand reviewers that enjoy shitting on a fragrance for other than their own personal satisfaction because it's another "blu & semi-aquatic generic scent" in the crowded sea of mass appealing scent creations. WHO CARES!?!? To those that just want to smell good on a budget it's a nice acquisition hands down. To the fragrance snobs or self proclaimed scent elitists stick with the world renown "STFU" protocol. Don't know what it is, just Google it. Please, just stop ruining it for the rest of us "common folk".......

Bought this after seeing TLTG talk about it. Got it really cheap 2nd hand from a associate. Def glad I did. Fresh spray smells a bit fruity but then the bottom/base comes out and maintains solid after that which Im satisified it does. Not a strong performer or room clearer. Another shock scent that smells one way before spraying out of the atomizer than the base really takes over after spraying. Almost had me calling this one a bogey until it dried down after 5-10 minutes...totally changed my mind. Someone said something about the grape note in this, now that I read that I cant get that scent out of my mind when sampling this....although its blended with the rest of the notes descent..Can smell this grapey-ness right off the atomizer. Very strange but luckily dies down after spraying. Up close this lasts very long, can smell on myself hours later. projection distance dies down after 2-3 hours. After 1st spray(s) its pretty strong projection for a little while 20-30 minutes. If you see this cheap buy it and try it out its very interesting and won't let you down. Now I need to try out the blue version.

A&F First Instinct Together feels like a younger, sweeter take on Invictus, bright and easy in a way that only summer scents can be. It makes me want to spray it over a sleeveless shirt and spend the whole day at an outdoor mall with the boys, walking around with no plans, talking about girls, checking out stores we cannot afford. A few hours in, we run into a group of girls we know, and I say what’s up to the one I like with a big smile. She leans in a little and says, “Wow, you smell so good,” dragging it out just enough to make the moment stick. I keep it cool, flirt a bit, but nothing serious since one of my friends likes her too. We eventually end up at the food court, pooling our cash for a plate of Panda Express, until my mom calls and tells me to wait by Barnes & Noble for a ride home. This is the kind of scent that takes me straight back to high school, when summer felt endless and I really thought I would be young forever.

I just want to say, this is not redundant to have if you already have Rasasi Hawas or Invictus Aqua 2016, I can't speak for the 2018 Invictus Aqua. In actual wearing of these fragrances, they all stand apart from eachother and in the air they all smell very different from eachother. FI Together is a lot more pineapple forward and at a distance more fruity. I love Hawas to death, but it is a much creamier sandlewood and thicker scent trail. The focus on FI Together is fruity, and sweet, and it dries to a transparent cedar, far less sandlewood. I also have Armaf Rixos and Oros, both are Invictus DNA scents, but wildly different again in actual wearing. I think this is easy to like and you'll probably love it, but if you don't want another Invictus type scent, than definitely get something else.

At Ross, they had original, extreme, and blue but I only wanted this. I had to go to 5 different locations to finally find it. $20 for 3.4oz. I love Invictus style scents and have full bottles of Legend Spirit, Wanted, Halloween Man Hero, King of Seduction, Sunrise Urban Ice, Armaf El Cielo, & Aura. This starts off like Aura but dries down slightly more fruity. It's sweet, fruity, tropical, and musky all at the same time. I love it! I had a decant of Hawas and much prefer this. Hawas has a spicy powdery smell that I'm not fond of and it's also not worth the price nowadays either. This has none of that and it's great. 4-5 sprays lasts me about 4-6 hours

This cologne is freaking amazing! I've seen this cologne every single time I've gone to Marshals, but never bought it because I was unaware that there were great quality "cheapies" out there. Well, I went to Marshals two days ago and purchased a 3.4 oz bottle for $25 after seeing all of the great reviews on here. My girl loves it, and I received two compliments within the same day. I couldn't say if this compares to Invictus as others say, since I haven't had the chance to try it. I can say it smells pleasingly fruity and fresh. The three scents I pick up the most are the apple, pineapple, and sandalwood. I give this scent a 10/10.

This is amazing! I love the smell of this a lot! Other people say this is their favorite out of the ones I spray on myself! It also has decent longevity and sillage! The price is also really good! Overall, I would rate this 9/10. This might not be my favorite smell from Abercrombie and Fitch's First Instinct line (Thanks Blue) but this is very close to being the best and it also has better performance. I would recommend this to someone youthful who wants something to wear casually and to the gym!

To me this fragrance smells like Invictus Aqua with a touch of Y EDP. This fragrance has a great fruity opening. To me the apple in this smells similar to the apple in Y EDP. This is a fresh, musky, fruity fragrance. This scent is very inoffensive and will gather compliments easily. This lasts slightly over 6 hours on my skin and projects for the first hour. This is an amazing affordable fragrance! I prefer First Instinct Together over the original First Instinct I rate this scent 9/10!

This was a STEAL at Marshall's. I've been in the market and have been wearing samples for both YSL Y EDP and Invictus Aqua, saw this one at on the rack and looked it up on here. The second I saw that it was close to those, it was a no brainer. I'd say it smells 90% to Invictus, 80% to YSL Y EDP (no ginger here). Great to add to your warm weather rotation, the sweetness could make it work in the cold as well.

I love love love this one. It smells super sweet but not cloying. Its just made right for me. Yeah it leans more towards to younger crowd but who cares? If you like it then just wear it. If you like Invictus, then look no further. $20 Invictus right here. Lacks in longevity though but you can over spray and it will last for 8+ hrs (indoor). It's a compliment getter for sure. 8.5/10.

I bought this cologne 3 times in the past year. One for myself and two as gifts. This has to be one of the best colognes at the price point of ~$20. If you want an inexpensive fruity bomb fragrance that is blind buy safe, this is the one. I think it is a younger person's fragrance for sure, but regardless it is a great crowd pleaser. I picked it up at my local Ross!

Love love LOVE this scent. It’s definitely sweet but that is my preference when it comes to freshies! Super uplifting and mood changing for me. I wear this mostly to the gym but will occasional use it as my scent of the day. Picked up a 100 ml for $20 at my local Ross and next time I see it (which isn’t often) I will snag another for that price without thinking.

Hell of a banger for hot days, or even exercising in general. 20 bucks for 100ml of this, or truly any of the other First Instinct fragrances, is such a steal (at Ross only - online, much more expensive already). This feels like a mixture between Invictus Aqua 2018 and First Instinct like it said below. Overspray and have fun, this is amazing!

Fantastic fragrance. Definitely smells like an inbetween of invictus and something like an acqua di gio, very strong water scents and pleasant slightly sweet freshness follows. If you're looking for a budget spring/summer fragrance this is the one, it performs well on my awfully dry skin and still smells strong after multiple hours.

I tell myself that I'm "not the type of person" to like such a youthful and playful fragrance. But I'll be damned if I don't absolutely love the fresh juicy fruitiness of this whenever I reach for it (which seems to be increasingly often these days). It's currently my go-to gym scent, and it works great for that.

People can complain on this all they want but it's a huge win for me. I no longer have to buy Invictus legend, aqua, etc. I no longer have to buy YSL Y, Y Live etc. It's like they screwed, had a baby and created this frag. Saved me a ton of money and it's a great price. Performance is about the same even ;)

I can't stop smelling this fragrance it's like YSL Y it just sucks you in. Personally I feel it has that magnetism of YSL Y but then the Aqua sweetness of Invictus Aqua mixed with Cool Water Wave. I wish I would've found this sooner and bought 30 bottles absolutely in love with fragrance till the day I die!

I love this. In fact, I love this whole line. Never smelled Invictus Aqua, but I have Invictus, and this smells very close, but I think this one's better. Perfect for warm weather and sunny days. Spray heavy so others can enjoy the goodness.

Batch 08/22 Yes it is synthetic but still so awesome. Sweet and fresh same time. It projects loud for first hour and settles then down little bit. Longevity pretty good 6 hours 4-5 sprays. Highly recommend this cheapie for spring and 🌞

For the price, this is a scent that i absolutely love, i wish it could last longer, got a 50ml bottle at ross for 13USD and i have used it all summer, this thing smells amazing, just dont expect more than 2-3 hours of performance.

This is the scent to spray on yourself on a scorching hot day. Smells fantastic and will pull in compliments all day long. I got 50ml of this for something like 17 euro. Every guy, young and old out there should be all over this.

If you see this at the rack stores, pick it up. It's sweet, it is fresh, it is perfect for those warmer months. I like to wear this as my gym scent, but I am happy to also spray it when I am out and about to.

Smells 99% identical to invictus

Abercrombie and Fitch First Instinct Together is redundant only if you have light blue aquatic fragrances in particular ones that are similar to Invictus in particular Invictus Aqua. This includes Jimmy Choo Man Intense, Yves Saint Laurent Y, Montblanc Legend Spirit and countless others. Luckily as stock dries up for Invictus Aqua, this is an awesome option to it. First Instinct Together opens with a fruity mix of apple, pineapple and Grapefruit. The mid has lavender as its strongest note. The base is musk with some sandalwood, especially if you use a sandalwood scented bodywash or deordorant with the fragrance. It feels aquatic even if there is no water or sea water notes. First Instinct Together is a nice casual summer scent. It is dumb reach and works for daily situations. I just wouldn't exactly wear it for dating, clubbing or dressing up situations. Dating, it is too common due to Invictus and fragrances that are similar to it including YSL Y; clubbing, it is just not strong enough; and for dressing up, it is too casual to wear (which I think most Abercrombie scents are.) First Instinct Together is great for work, errands or kicking it situations. Abercrombie and Fitch First Instinct Together is a fragrance that is good but common. That said you can do much worse than it for an Invictus style fragrance, but lighter and for less money. I'm looking at Montblanc Legend Spirit, Zara Crude and Cuba Paris Winner. That said, I think Loman Why Not which is more of YSL Y twist, is a bit better. For this reason, I can only give First Instinct Together a 7 out of 10.

Maybe this is a reach...But I am thinking they named this "Together" as it seems be First Instinct/Invictus Aqua/YSL combined. I have to say....This is a a fantastic fragrance...I like First Instinct & First Instinct Blue, but this is my favorite of the 3. This is simply a really good crowd pleasing Blue fragrance and for the money...I would say it is a steal. Like many blue scents, the longevity is not the best, I get 2-3 hours out of this which is similar to fragrances like Coach in that regard, but this smells better imo. I have always felt that FI Blue was very similar to coach and Jimmy Choo all good scents with average performance, but this is now my favorite of the FI line. One of the best blind buys I have purchased. Hard to not like this scent. Good job with this one, not as generic as I was expecting, and I do not mean generic in a negative sense. If you see this at the rack stores for $20-$25.....pick it up.

Synthetic, sweet and a bit cheap smelling? Yes. However, it's just so fresh, nostalgic and pleasantly familiar that it's a no brainer for the price. A clean, fruity and youthful fragrance that's a dumb reach and can be worn all year round at the gym, or in the summer time if you want to wear it out. The opening is a little too loud and sweet for me, but the dry down calms down a bit and stays that way for a few hours. Obviously the performance on this one (as well as all the others in the line) is very poor, but it's cheap enough that you can comfortably over spray. I also just like to keep a fragrance in my car at all times so I can always reapply whenever. Overall, a blind buy worthy frag if you like affordable sweet freshies.

This is much more musky than I thought it would be. I purchased it as a blind buy assuming it was going to smell like Invictus Aqua and that it does. The projection is out there too! This stuff is a beast when first sprayed! All together it smells like Invictus Aqua or a clone of it. It's very fruity with a musky ambroxan like base. Also there are some woods in there as well. I bought my 13 old nephew a bottle of this before trying it and I don't know if it's youthful enough for him. It has a slight mature side to it with the musks. I would say this is more for a guy in his 20's or maybe 18+. Overall this fragrance smells great to me! I had to get me a bottle to try out for myself and I like it quite a bit!

I was hoping the Invictus vibes would be a little more subtle in this one, but unfortunately they're more prominent than I would've liked. It basically smells like Invictus Aqua mixed with YSL Y. It smells good, but I'm just a little tired of the constant Invictus DNA being thrown into everything. At this point there should be some sort of official "Invictus vibes" note in fragrances, because it's seriously that common now. That being said, what this scent does, it does well. Very fresh and summery, especially with the added fruitiness. It's also a good deal if you find it in a rack store like I did, for about $25. Just wish the Invictus was a little less distinct in this one.

Very solid fragrance. It's fresh clean and sweet. It smells like a light fresher version of Montblanc Legend Spirit & Azzaro Chrome. At first you get plenty of citrus and sweetness. Then it settles into a light wood with the orange blossom. You get hints of the lavender throughout. Over all it's light, it's not as sweet as Legend Spirit and not as woody as chrome. Nothing really jumps right out it's just a really nice fresh balance. Great for the summer. The gym, after a shower. It is an EDT but the performance isn't that bad. It's a close skin scent after about 2-3 hours but I can get whiffs of it after about 2 hours. For the price it's hard to beat. I recommend it

To me, to describe this scent I would say it is a syrupy, sweet, fruity bubble gum scent. I would be careful with the number of sprays on this one as it is on the sweeter side and has the possibility of choking people out. I am in my late teens and it's even a tad sweet for me when you spray it 2+ times. For me, the performance is good anywhere from 3-5 hours. If you can find this at TJ Maxx or Ross for under $25 I would pick it up. Definitely, a good starter fragrance if you don't have any sweet/clubbing, or bubblegum scents in your collection. Overall: 7/10

Throughout the fragrance's last I always seem to pick up a bubblegum smell as well as a sweet pineapple note. At times depending on when I smell the fragrance I can seem to get a headache as the sweet aspect mixing with alcohol can be piercing, but all other times it smells great. I see this as a great summer scent and people seem to like the poppy feel the fragrance has. The strength of the fragrance also seems to be overhated and I can get good results on cloth. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 7.5/10 Projection: 7.5/10 Value: 8.5/10 Overall: 8/10

I picked this up at a rack store for pretty cheap, and even still it's not really worth it. Very similar Mont Blanc ledgend spirit and somewhat similar to YSL lhomme cologne bleue, but it's not as good. It's very sweet, but almost to a candy syrup level where it's cloying to wear in the heat but the scent profile is out of place in the cold. It's decent if you don't have anything else in this realm of scents, but if you have any of the other similar alternatives then it's really not worth it.

100 ml for $25 USD? YES is it worth is? YES Blind buy? ABSOLUTELY Does it fit in with all the modern blue fragrances? YES Mass appealing, inoffensive and versatile? YES It is tailored for a younger audience and engineered to be a no thinker when are reaching for a fragrance. However I find myself having to reapply this constantly. Good sillage on the first hour and average performance. Do not pick up at any price below the 30 price mark Overall this is a contender for the 2020 cheap-gem award

Sugary sweet! It is not a tart, fruity fragrance but a cotton candy type of sweet. I have found 100ml bottles for about $20, which is insane. I see it as a boyish fragrance, definitely not masculine. The musk and wood sit in the background, but I think they need to be there to play their very small role. I only own the original Paco Rabanne Invictus, and I see myself reaching for either of these to do the same job. They are not the same! But they are both sugary, sweet juice. 7.5/10

I purchased this cologne last year to replace my finished ADG Absolu. As a college student, finding it for 17 dollars at my local ross made me go for this over a new Absolu bottle and I am glad that I did. This scent is very sweet and fruity and it reminds me very much of Absolu. Its my current everyday scent because of this. I would say that it does not last very long. Maybe 4 hours, so I just overspray in the morning and it works out well throughout the day.

As others have already stated, nothing new, it's cheap, sweet, and fresh with average to low performance. Not really one I care for but, I still will wear it occasionally around the house. The kicker is that my GF really likes this one and purrs when I wear it!!! Of all the other things I have and wear that I personally prefer, this little cheapie is one of the ones she really likes and compliments. Go figure....guess I'll be replacing it when its finished.

Purchased it for cheap at my local Marshall's. Everyone is right - it smells like a combination of Invictus Aqua and YSL Y. I smell Invictus in the opening and Y in the dry down. Really good fragrance if you get a discounted price. It skews younger, but works great for the gym. I love wearing a couple sprays when I go for a run outside. Nothing unique, but if you like Invictus or Y, you're going to like this. It's mass appealing.

To me the best way to describe this is a syrupy, fruity, bubblegum scent, but not in a bad way. To me it is very youthful and almost a little too sweet, definitely monitor sprays with this one. Performance with me is pretty good anywhere from 3-5 hours. If you can find it at TJ Maxx or Ross for under $25 I'd pick it up if you don't have any sweet bubble gum fragrances.

Properly made fragrance, fruity(greenish)/sweet, only thing I didn't expect is that the fruity floral sweet and kinda fresh entry got away really quick and was substituted with the base which I didn't expect to be that powdery(kinda too much for me). Overall 3.5/5 for me, all the notes can be spotted, but that bottom killed the glorious fresh vibe at the opening.

Fresh/bubblegummy/shower gel scent. I absolutely love First Instinct EDT and this is a cleaner and brighter alternative. Definitely a younger man's scent it may come off as immature to some. If you can get it for a good price I'd recommend trying it out. I can definitely see the similarities to Invictus Aqua, but this can be had for a lower price.
