Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile Edizione Speciale 2008

Iris Nobile is one of my favorites perfumes. It makes part of my permanente perfume collection. For me Iris Nobile is the most timeless, eternal, couture and elegant of all perfumes i've ever had. Longevity: 7 - 9 h. Sillage is delicate but present. Each time i wear Iris N i have a lot of compliments. Masterpiece!

OMG iris 100% and i fall in love !!

I love it but cannot afford it.

Smell so strong... driving me crazy... I don't understand why so many people love this one. Mine still 90% after 5yrs.

I bought this last winter after being sprayed by a sales assistant and absolutely falling in love with it. I literally couldn't stop smelling myself! On one end of this you have a strong floral iris, and at the other a powdery vanilla patchouli which balance each other out perfectly. It's stopped from being too cloying or overpowering by the fresher notes like mandarin and bergamot, and although the individual notes don't stand out for me I am aware of a lovely fresh edge to it. the only negative I have is that for me it's not very summery so not one for all year round.

I have Iris Nobile EDP (the same as this but in the plain bottle). It is a gorgeous perfume. The opening is orange citrus but warm and soft, followed by powdered iris. It is very subtle and understated, but sophisticated and classy. There are other florals in the development, though I can't detect what, and it is warm in the dry down with a little vanilla. The base is slightly mossy and earthy which balances the sweeetness of the vanilla. It isn't a sillage monster, but it does last and I can detect this on my wrist 12 hours later!

Finally I had to chance to know it ! I really love it ! I even don't know how to describe how impressed I was by this one. It staerts as a luminous foral, sweet, young... and dries down to be powdery in a very nice way. I liked the EDP and also the EDT. It is really unique... I'd give it all the balloon's I'd have.

This is such a pretty unique scent. Love it!
