Buongiorno Buonanotte

I actually really love this scent. To me it leans masculine with the woody opening. It’s very uplifting and fresh, but has a slight warmth with the iris and cashmere. To me it’s an absolute beauty, and if you pair it with their body lotion it really projects for the first few hours. Scent lasts about 2-3 hours within arms reach or more, then starts to fade to a more intimate scent for the next 3-4 hours. I really feel its a bit overpriced but it will hit discounters soon. If you love woody iris scents with a slight gris charnel twist then you will like this.

Tried the range today and this one is my favorite. So lovely and perfect for a summer night. 100% unisex as it would smell great on everyone. The dry down reminds me of one of the flankers of Narciso Rodriguez for Her..

Smells verrrrry similar to Gaiac 10, but much more affordable!

This scent is fresh in a very natural, human exhale-y way, but it is not thin. That's actually something I like about it. It's a kind of “your skin but better” but targetted towards people who are tired of being sandblasted by trendy molecule soup. Say bye (at last!) to the standard scratchy synthetic ambroxan roar so harsh it wipes out any trace of sexiness. Buonanotte instead is very lovely, clean and softly radiant with real warmth sewn through it. The bergamot and pink pepper invigorates, but the iris here is what I think makes it feel much more tender than brisk. Orris pallida concrete has this nice cosmetic coolness, and in this composition it's melted into skin-like musk and cashmere wood. This specific cashmere wood accord is actually quite a bit gentler too, creating a non-raspy, soft halo around the guaiac that gives smoky, creamy-woody body. So while it's reasonably nice and not the first of its kind, it is indeed prettier than it sounds. This is something uplifting, reliable, and elegantly enveloping that you can reach for whether you're out to the office, a dinner date or on vacation. Also an all-day, which is also exactly how AdP frames it: the blur between good morning and good night. Intimate and understated but classy and grounded. A very likeable fragrance, of course neglecting that painful price tag.

I got this scent as part of the sampling set for the new Buongiorno flankers and it’s quite unexpected. A lot of iris well done, and it’s definitely a skin scent. I find it intriguing - but struggle to see any connection with the main Buongiorno. Quality level, it feels rather superficial compared with most AdP fragrances (of which I have most). Interesting but a lightweight when there is so much more to excite in the AdP range. Now really wondering what the other versions from the set will be like... (coda - this was actually the best of the lot so far, more developed than some of the others. Several are not that nice. Rather surprised that AdP released this set tbh...)

This new collection has not gotten a lot of love. For me though, it's more interesting than any other from the brand. First, yes, this smells like Le Labo Gaiac 10. But let's be clear, this is missing that BBQ tinge in the same volume. That part is much more toned down. And you have this sophisticated, airy, slightly sensual, clean scent. Nothing to complain about here. And if I couldn't get or didn't own Gaiac 10... I'd happily own this as a replacement. I happen to have both. This one is easier to reach for. Gaiac you have to be up for the BBQ scent-sation--trust--it's better than it sounds.

This will certainly one of the favorites in the line. It’s not a projector, it is very pleasant however. A stronger and more pungent version of this is what I wish Buongiorno was, as the Heavy old-lady white floral accord that AdP has been using lately ruins it for me. Very nice but wish it was a little more “punchy”.

Imagine the least Acqua di Parma fragrance you can. This is it: A weak attempt at a "your skin but better" scent. This is as boring and ho-hum as the original Buongiorno is cheerful and sunny and enjoyable. The comparisons to Another 13 and Fleur de Peau are inaccurate because it lacks the personality both of those fragrances have. It's the musk from L'Eau Papier without the enjoyable sesame note.

Congrats if you like this, but it's a derivative uninspired bandwagon-hopping type skin hugging musky scent that is overpopulating the market. Unfaithful to the ADP identity.

I haven’t had the chance to try it yet, but on paper it looks very promising. The top notes feature pink pepper and bergamot, followed by iris and guaiac wood in the heart, and a base of musk and cashmeran. If it’s well blended, it could be a truly classy and elegant fragrance perfect for a gentleman, especially in an office setting

It is just an ordinary musk scent. It reminds me of Diptyque’s Fleur de Peau or Orpheon, but the intensity and performance are not as good as those two.

This one is clearly trying to hop on other famous scents currently on market. Not the typical acqua di parma perfume.

Save your money and get Cashmere 100 INSEF ... smells similar but better and lasts longer.

It’s cool ... but the price is stupid !
