Buongiorno

Buongiorno perfectly represents a new generation of fragrances that, fortunately, will save us from the chemical bombs we’ve been smelling in recent years—during the day in the streets and at night in clubs. It’s a green, citrusy fragrance with basil and mint notes. It’s perfect for the office and for warm spring and summer days. Similar to Torino 21, although with clear differences: in Torino 21, the aromatic side of mint and basil dominates over the citrus notes, making it much stronger and longer-lasting; Buongiorno takes the opposite approach, highlighting the citrus opening and drydown, making it more delicate and refined. Both are, to me, the summer of my country—Italy—in a bottle. Simile a Torino 21 anche se con evidenti differenze: in Torino 21 domina la parte aromatica di menta e basilico sopra le note citriche, rendendo Torino 21 un profumo molto più forte e duraturo; Buongiorno evidenzia il senso opposto, dando maggiore risalto alla parte citrica in apertura e nel drydown rendendolo più delicato e raffinato. Sono entrambi l’estate del mio paese, l’Italia, dentro una bottiglia.

Interestingly familiar yet different, vaguely reminiscent of Torino 21, but I kinda like this one more in a way, both are still good fragrances though but this just caters to me more if I had to pick. The opening is very strong and prominent on my skin, as if I'd just got out of bed, only for an Italian friend of mine to grab my shoulders and yell "BUONGIORNO RAGAZZO" instantly jolting me awake, up and present, that's what it feels like getting smacked in the face with the prominent basil note instantaneously after first spray, but that isn't to say its bad, if anything it's the contrary, the basil settles rather quickly after it connects with your skin, and the the Zesty lemon, coupled with a plethora of Aromatics come out to eventually subsume it, and after the opening ends, a prominent and sharp yet refreshing mint note leaps into the fray to complete the core of the scent, taking the limelight of the basil and creating a refreshing and energising feeling after every waft you get after a warm breeze dances past you. When it comes to wearability, I feel it's self explanatory given the name and notes, in that this is very much a casual daily wear typa fragrance and in my opinion leans unisex but very masculine. Longevity wise I got around 6 hours with it starting to die down from its medium projection around 2 or 3 hours, definitely a summer-spring fragrance for sure but im sure you guessed as much. Not my favourite ADP fragrance but definitely on the better end of their offerings in my opinion, and given that's its now trickled down to Australia, I'd imagine it'll start going on discount for a nice price relatively soon, so if retail price bugs you im sure you can find a bargain in the near future if not already. 8.1/10

Acqua di Parma’s Buongiorno is 10/10 stunning mint-forward fragrance that delivers an incredibly photorealistic mint note right from the start it's fresh, invigorating, and almost dewy in its realism. It's a fragrance that feels like a breath of early morning air in an Italian garden, wrapped in light yet confident elegance. The sillage is impressive without being overpowering, and the longevity is genuinely great, easily lasting through the 6-8 hrs. mark. As it dries down, it reveals the signature Acqua di Parma DNA, echoing the refined backbone of ADP Colonia, with that crisp, clean, and effortlessly classy trail the house is known for. Here is where it gets tricky, yes, its sits really close to Torino 21 so close that almost steps in the dupe territory, but just when you think it’s a copy, the differences begin to emerge. Buongiorno is more sober, less citric, and skips the creamy sweetness that defines Torino 21. What you're left with is a cleaner, more herbaceous and lighter experience, one that feels a bit more mature and grounded. If you’re already a have Torino 21, this might feel familiar, but if you don’t have it in your collection, Buongiorno becomes an easy, safe blind buy. Honestly, if I didn’t already own Torino 21, this would have been a no-brainer addition. A classy, versatile mint fragrance that’s both uplifting and refined, Buongiorno is Acqua di Parma doing what it does best.

I have always wanted to love Acqua di Parma’s perfumes, but either I adored the scent but hated the way it performs, or I wasn’t crazy about the perfumes but some performed well. Throughout the years especially during my holidays in Italy I would sample lots of their classics or newer releases, but until Buongiorno, nothing felt like the one for me. I admit that I own a special edition of Mirto di Panarea that I have purchased three years ago, which smells divine, but it’s quite fleeting. Buongiorno is a gorgeous herbal/fresh/citrusy scent that has a good performance. I am wearing it today, courtesy to Douglas, where I showered myself in it and it’s beautiful. It’s the right perfume for a warm, sunny early summer day. It’s similar to Torino 21 but more minty/aromatic and green than Torino 21. I have that, so I don’t think I need Buongiorno, but it’s great. I have sprayed it five hours ago and I can smell it around me. Which is really good for this type of fresh perfume. I like the scent, the performance of Buongiorno and the presentation but it’s very pricey. Would recommend, it’s great quality, natural smelling but you need to be ready to spend a good amount of money. I will pass for this summer season, I have more than half of my Torino 21 bottle still, but I will revisit in the future!

It's a sparkly, fresh, invigorating, uplifting cologne, bright and somewhat metallic. I thought I was into more complex and intellectually intriguing perfumes but as soon as I tried this I felt that this is it, here I am! It has a heart-warming simplicity and visceral beauty. Somehow most other perfumes (in the same price vicinity) seem like reproductions while this is the real painting. I think this is because it does not rely on IsoESuper and modern chemicals, but on high quality natural essences, full-bodied and not aerosol-like. True it is almost same as Torino 21, which, though, is more messy and too herbal compared to this. It is not a performance beast and it is not supposed to be. This is AdP's philosophy, and it was an eye-opener for me: it is an intimate, feelgood, wear it for yourself and not the others, kind of scent. But it does last as a skin scent. A guy we got intimate even told me I smelled wonderful late at night though I had worn it in the morning. Being a cologne, it is a daytime, spring and summer fragrance, it does not perform well in the winter and would be out of time in the Autumn. Leans masculine, like most AdP.

I love almost all of Acqua di Parma releases and I have to say this one is exceptionally good. I ordered it on the same day I tested it in a store. The opening is fresh, natural and invigorating. You can smell the mint, citruses and herbal notes. In the dry down woody notes and slightly sweet musk start to come out. This fragrance really lifts the mood. I've seen some comparisons to Torino21 and I can understand that but it's definitely not the same, just similar style. Some also say this smells very simple and I guess it's true but at the same time it's quite unique comparing to vast majority of really boring contemporary releases. It has this sort of classic cologne backbone which in my opinion is missing in contemporary perfumery. Projection is not too strong, I would say moderate for a few hours. Longevity is pretty good for a fresh fragrance like this one. The only drawback is the price. I got a 180ml bottle for ~220 EUR and that was the cheapest one I could find from a legit store. I assume it will be a bit cheaper once it hits discounters if you don't mind waiting.

Buongiorno Acqua di Parma is a citrusy, aromatic, and green fragrance. Its opening is citrusy and herbal, slightly sweet and almost fruity, where the citrus aroma seems to come more from the leaves than from the juice or zest. As time passes, the mint note becomes more intense and realistic. Once it reaches its drydown, the scent becomes slightly musky and ambery, but still fresh. As its name suggests, this fragrance is ideal for daytime wear and provides a pleasant sense of energy, perfect for spring and summer, casual outings, with friends, office work, etc. Its longevity was average, lasting up to 8 hours on me, with a fair to low sillage. Compared to Il Profumo, Acqua di Parma's other release this year, this is a more unisex fragrance, more sparkling, energizing, and modern, because Il Profumo is more masculine and contains more classic elements without being a vintage scent. Personally, I like Il Profumo more, but I think Buoungiorno could appeal to a wider audience.

Welp, I ended up buying a 3.4 oz even though I originally said it's too close to T21 which I own. An online discounter had it for a decent price. It's like 80% T21, but definitely less yeasty and there's a deeper more herbal dirty herbaceousness here. Not dirty dirty, just a dusting of dirty. Not great longevity, but I'm much less averse to bathing in this one as I am T21 cause of the price difference. Love this one. Btw u should wear it in the winter if u dont like the idea of a winter fragrance being a cloying vanilla sugar rumbomb that behaves just like it sounds in climate controlled environments. Umm. Which is like um when a fragrance is uh usually like smellable. If a winter fragrance is something for the cold, ppl better be spraying the outside of their bubblegooses/bubblegeese which i dont think they are unless they some club bros. So wear this sh1t in the winter if u want to be cool and really buck the cloytrain. Peace 2 u fragnutters.

From the moment I spritzed it on, the opening was a breath of fresh air. A vibrant, uplifting mint greets you, and it’s important to clarify that this isn’t the harsh mint associated with toothpaste. Instead, it’s akin to the minty freshness of a freshly crafted mojito. Coupled with this mint is a prominent citrus aroma that adds an extra layer of brightness to the fragrance. I genuinely love the opening; it reminds me of Torino 21 with its minty introduction, although I find Buongiorno’s version to be even more natural. After about five minutes, subtle green notes start to emerge, maintaining the overall freshness. About half an hour in, the scent evolves—the green aspect remains, but there's a hint of musk that develops beautifully. In terms of performance, I found that Buongiorno projects nicely for the first two hours. After that, the fragrance settles much closer to the skin and lingers just over four hours on me.

Tried in Fenwick, then went back to buy a bottle after road testing it for a day. Two sprays on the neck and one on the chest and I was getting 5-7hrs. The sillage isn’t confrontational, it’s well balanced. Spray at home, arrive at office, you’ll smell it in your office two hours later in the air after going and returning back. It’s linear but very high quality ingredients and it shows. Perfect summer scent when moving on from citrus only fragrances of yesteryear, it’s right in the moment and up to date. This is going to be my summer signature. Agree with @citrusrain, this is nothing like Imagination in the grand scheme of things. To anyone who says you need to overspray, you don’t. Others perceive this gentle but persistent fragrance around you. Any more would be potentially too much in the warm weather and this isn’t a nightclub type fragrance.

After a considerable amount of back and forth, I decided to add this to the stable alongside Torino 21. My rationale is exactly this: When I tested them initially, I loved both. Price was my tie-breaking criteria. Now that this is abundantly available on a number of sites for a deep discount, it is a no-brainer. I honestly found myself truly enjoying the style of each (although redundant to most normal people) enough to want both. If it came down to a head-to-head, it is still a hair-splitter. Buongiorno is a bit better balanced, T21 is more sharp and aggressive. They are both fantastic. I must say, I really enjoyed the head-to-head testing between the two. Sample them both if you can. The differences are fairly subtle, but they are there if you wear them enough...

I have to update after wearing this a bit more, and Torino 21 as well. Not quite as redundant as I initially made them out to be. The scent profiles perform on skin very differently for me personally. Very similar, but not the same wearing experience. I get similar longevity from both, which is to say 'adequately average'. Price-wise, I picked up a 1.7 of T21 for about $120, and a 1.7 of Buongiorno for about $79. So, neither will break the bank. Different enough? I get more of a floral minty experience from the ADP, and more of a sharp, herbal minty throwdown from T21. This after a dozen or so wearings of each. Both great fragrances, and I don't see how you can go wrong with either if you like this style DNA.

This is very, very good. 1)EDP. Good longevity and projection (in comparison to all other ADPs I have - probably about 10). 2)I agree with PaddyOh Fraiche and Vitodito, it is in the same general family as one of my favorite summer citrus bangers, Xerjoff's Torino21 3)Great balance of tart and sweet citrus notes 4)Very strong yet pleasant realistic mint accord, provides a refreshing coolness in the summer heat 5)The juice is a very pretty golden color 6)This is like a thicker, stronger modernized ADP Colonia. I love that. 7) I also have the new Il Profumo, and Buongiorno is significantly better, in my opinion. 9/10 and a Fragrantica score of 4.4. A rare very successful blind buy for me!

Delicious. Subtly fresh and natural. Has the Acqua di Parma DNA - in other words it's quintessentially Italian and perfect for summer. Very light though This is definitely unisex in that pleasant citrus/herby way. Opens with spearmint, dries down to a perfect abstract summery woody/citrus. For some reason it made me think of The Talented Mr Ripley. It's probably too uplifting and pleasant for, say, Tom Ripley or Dickie Greenleaf (they'd wear the more masculine classic Acqua di Parmas) but Marge would wear this perfectly. I imagine Marge floating around Capri maybe, wearing citrus yellow linen and a very wide-brimmed straw hat. Classy, summery, perfect. Big like!

This fragrance is quite perfect!!! This fragrance has a perfect balance of mint, basil, and lemon. I can pick up on literally every note. I would say that this fragrance is a perfect new modern take for aqua di Parma. Still holding to their ultra naturalistic Italian/ Mediterranean vibe, but adding modern elements. This fragrance holds to their high standards perfectly. The performance isn’t nuclear but if you are buying from this house that is not what you should expect. The sillage is better than average, and longevity is quite solid. Luxurious minty green mojito sort of vibe. This fragrance is better than Torino 21. 9.7out of 10.

So just picked up a 50ml, Duty free at the Airport, I already have T21 & this is very much T21's less in your face twin. Almost the exact same scent profile just less of it. So far the longevity hasn't been anything to write home about- a bit disappointing if I'm honest! Hoping that once it macerates for a couple of weeks, that it will be more like the Riserva's. It's getting decent hype online & it appears that I'm not the only person owning both but it was pretty much an impulse buy & if I'm totally honest & had to choose only one it would be T21 every day of the week!

Stunning. Just gorgeous. Beautiful citrusy lemony pithiness, with a creaminess that I guess comes from the musk. I like the mint here too, but it’s not OTT and adds to the Buongiorno vibe. In the later hours it’s woody! In the first hour it is remarkably big... and it’s potent in the first couple of hours. Buongiorno has good longevity too. It’s not a one-hour perfume as some say (some of those who downplay its longevity might be relying on a few squirts from a sample or a shop). With realistic application, Buongiorno lasts hours and hours.

I bought the new Fico di Amalfi and they give a sample. Its Wonderful amazing... So elegant like Givree. I have Xerjoff Torino 21 and Renaissance that both are very realistic and profile is close to that , but ... Torino is more mint forward and Renaissance is more petitgrain forward both Xerjoff are more aggressive than Buongiorno, that is way smoother more elegant less playful and more serious perfume in my opinion. The scent trail of this one is airy not screaming but is there , perfect balance . The only problem is the price :(

Buongiorno and Tornio21 open similarly, but take different routes pretty quickly: Torino21 is consistently over-minty after the top blast dies down, while Buongiorno maintains the delicate herbal balance throughout the wear, so no note sticks out like mint does in T21. This is SUCH a vibrant and luminous scent profile, and I'm so in love with it that I ended up getting the whole range of Buongiorno products for around the house. AdP has really blown it out of the water with their 2025 offerings. <3

This is a top quality fragrance which smells very different to me depending on how warm it is outside. I smell a lot of basil and yes this perfume is very similar to Xerjoff Torino 21 but here I manage to smell each note better while Torino gives more of a general Mojito vibe. Perfect for the warm weather but 5-6 sprays minimum as I get quickly nose blind to it and I am unsure if other people can smell it. Overall a safe summer choice which is more unique compared to other summer fragrances.

I have gave this fragrance several wearings and have to say that this has quickly moved up to one of my top fragrances. I don’t know if it has grapefruit specifically, but to my nose I get a beautiful grapefruit note, especially upon initial spray. If you wear it on a sunny day, it brightens your mood and if you wear it on an overcast day, it brightens your mood. On top of that, I have received three unsolicited compliments about this fragrance when I’ve worn it. Cheers my fragrant friends.

Absolutely stunning. Possibly their best fragrance in my opinion (maybe just edging Essenza). Fresh fruit mint and herbs. Kind of makes many of the Blu Mediterraneo series (that it could have easily been placed in) or Aqua Allegorias redundant as it does what each of them do rolled into one. Great longevity too. With 7 sprays on my hair the fragrance was still pushing out 24 hours later. One of the very best fragrances I have smelled and certainly the smell of summer.

Good morning from Torino! This Acqua di Parma is truly amazing — a very uplifting, green, and citrusy scent. It's very Italian: simple, timeless, and impeccably made. If you like mint and basil, you need to try Buongiorno. I’ve never tried Torino21 — it’s way too expensive for me. Buongiorno is still pricey, but in my opinion, it's worth the retail price. This is going to be my signature scent for the summer. Now I want to explore more fragrances from Acqua di Parma!

Smelled it a couple of days ago at the Acqua di Parma boutique and bought a 180ml bottle right away. This smells like a fizzy virigin mojito with some crushed ice and fresh mint leaves at the top. Imagine the aroma when drinking a syrupy virigin mojito with fresh ingredients after rubbing your hand before holding the glass mug with petitgrain and basil leaves. Very unique and uplifting quality scent that you can tell that they've used quality perfume oils.

Absolutely beautiful and refreshing fragrance. I am personally a fan of green scents, so this was a must have for my collection. It opens with a burst of mint and basil before settling into a soft herbal scent. The performance is not the best, though that is not a problem as I don't mind reapplying after a few hours. If you like fresh green scents, or are looking for an alternative to more citrus-forward fragrances, I strongly recommend that you try this

Enjoying this but not sure what to think of it. It's got some similarities to AdP Colonia's vibes deep down, but initial impressions is that it's more tart, more extroverted citrus...not the subdued, soft, elegant citrus of AdP Colonia. It's a stronger personality, more up front and stronger citrus with a pronounced Mandarin tartness and hints of mint. Great for spring and summer holidays. Scent: 8 / Sillage: 7.5 / Longevity: 7.5

gosh i love adp, but they're sadly really weak when it comes to performance. I haven't tried it on skin so idk if being edp changed the longetivity that much buth, the smell was beatiful. I love how adp makes their fragrances so natural. It gives off a lemon garden vibe to me, that's kind of exactly what it smells like. Ig adp makes their fragrances to be more peacful and non disturbing rather than attention grabbing.

This is the summer / hot climate fragrance I think I’m looking for. I like something that isn’t too fruity sweet like the majority but has a greenness and freshness to it which this has with the mint. I’m still testing the silage / longevity as don’t get many opportunities in the UK to do so. But is a standout and what ADP do best. Perfectly unisex. Perfectly mass appealing, which everyone would enjoy at any age

Perfection. The clearly presented ingrediënts seem made for each other. Harmonious and lively. Joyous even. The musk goes together with the basil and mint so well. First time I'm really liking musk as an identifiable ingrediënt. The scent presents all natural in the masterful way that AdP does and sits beautifully on my skin. Aptly named it's great company for a beautiful day!

This is a very uplifting and fresh scent. Very orangey/lemony at first then settles into a 50/50 basil citrus. This smells very nostalgic to me. When I was a kid in the 90s, my Italian grandmother had a herb garden and a fruit tree in her yard and this scent captures the memory perfectly. This might be my favorite fragrance just because of that. Just wish it lasted longer.

I was already a fan of Acqua Di Parma's Mirto di Panarea, and recently tried the Buongiorno Eau De Parfum. I was hooked; the citrusy smell was so nice and refreshing on my skin, the dry down was even better and I could still smell it around 4, 5 hours later. Being a summer baby, I would definitely consider this but as others have warned, it is not cheap!

It's a cloudy December morning in Veneto and I've just doused myself in Buongiorno. Uplift complete! My husband tried this at some airport, forgot the name but remembered that minty scent. We found it hard to track down until finally identified it again in John Lewis Edinburgh, who just happened to be offering 20% off. Happy days, large bottle procured.

Very strong aromatic, herbaceous lemon on a wooden base with extra smoothness and a hint of a green rose. Not punchy not sour but flowery and aromatic. The blend reminds more of French parfumerie than Italian, moving along the lines of the dna of an Hermes flower blend or Aqua Allegoria Mandarin Basilic perfume. Very nice longevity and ok cillage.

A more refined, uplifting take on Torino21. It's a wonderful fragrance. The mint and basil are refreshing and well put together. Wonderfully blended and smooth. Performance for me is 6 hours with another 2 hours as a skin scent in the heat. Can be worn year-round but performs best when its warm. Purchased the 6 oz bottle and have zero regrets.

I really love this. The mint, basil, and citruses work together really well. Very minty fresh. Not like toothpaste mint. Like actually smelling a mint leaf. This is one of my favorite Acqua Di Parma frags that I've smelt. Performance is meh however, but the scent makes up for it. Scent 9/10 Longevity 6/10 Projection 6/10 Worth Price 8/10

This is so delicious and fresh. It's got an edible quality to it, without being your typical heavy, rich, sweet, gourmand scent. I get a lot of the sweet lemon, basil, rosemary, with touches of refreshing mint and lavender. Clean but no where near soapy or laundry or musky. Such a happy fragrance. I think Buongiorno is so aptly named!

I tried it in store and WOW, this is THE summer scent 2025!! Basil, mint and lemon/petitgrain give this super fresh feeling, but at the same time giving the juiciness similar to Fico di Amalfi (I was on a first sniff 00% sure than the same fig was there, but officially it's not? :) ). I think this is a great offering from the house.

I love it, it's to cool, herbal, citric, a mixed between ELDO You or someone like you and Xerjoff Torino 21, right in the middle praising de mint-basil from the former and de citric from the later. Kinda addicted to me. More expensive than the former and less expensive than the later, like a said just in the middle. Good option IMO

Absolute banger! This is a very uplifting, green, fresh, mouthwatering summer perfume. A mix of basil, mint and petit grain with a similar Fico di Amalfi / Arancia's typical adp base. Maybe a Torino 21 killer? For me yes, as i can't stand hard synthetics and this one is much more natural and refined. On point!

Happinnes in a bottle. Very uplifting and joyful fragrance, ordered sample, cant tell much on longevity yet, but the smell is amazing. I get much of the mandarin leaf, and opening is very minty, way better than Torino 21, but the drydown is not similar. Subtle basil and rosemary with stronger citrus. 9.5/10

I have no idea how this would be perceived outside of the Mediterranean, but goddamn... this is fucking amazing! Really similar almost identical to T21, but can't explain why it feels much more pleasant and natural and more sofisticated version of it! 9/10

I just received a decant of this. It is so close to Torino21, which I own. Both on skin and in the air. This is a touch more minty and somewhat less yeasty. T21 is somewhat less expensive. I love this fragrance but too close to T21. Peace to the fragfaces.

I can’t even grasp how people would prefer Torino21 over this? Every time when I tried to sample T21 the scent is so faint and literally gone in 1-2 hours. For a much cheaper price you can get this one, which last longer and is even better.

Similar to Torino 21, from memory (I sampled it last summer). Though I remember not liking Torino21 because I found it too synthetic, while I really like Buingiorno. To the point that I am considering getting a full bottle.

If Torino 21 and ADP fico had a baby, this is what it would smell like. I own a bottle of fico and a decant of Torino 21, I would get bongiourno over Torino 21 and keep fico as they aren’t redundant

Maybe one of my favourite openings ever. Certified banger because of that alone. Very Acqua di Parma. Clean, fresh, and complex without overstaying its welcome.

Refreshing green, on my skin the notes blend perfectly. Just got it, waiting for time to give little more intensity to the base. The feeling is great so far.

This remind me of platine blanc drydown creaminess but lighter. PB is my favorite scent yet, so this one I love too. Don't know should I have both though

Among so many surgical reviews, I'm just going to say I cried when I sampled this because it smells like grandma's home.

Ok I’m KiNDoF obsessed with this. By far it’s stronger and better than Torino 21 . is this the GOAT of 2025?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
