Colonia Il Profumo Millesimato

Acqua di Parma Colonia Il Profumo Millesimato is a citrus, aromatic, and woody fragrance. It opens with an intense burst of citrus, accompanied by herbal notes such as rosemary and petitgrain. About 10 minutes later, a ylang-ylang note becomes perceptible, blending with woody accords of patchouli and vetiver; this lends the scent a masculine, soapy character that persists throughout its evolution. Compared to its sibling fragrance, Il Profumo, the Millesimato version is more aromatic, herbal, and soapy. In contrast, Il Profumo features a prominent leather accord and is slightly woodier—though Millesimato also contains wood notes, primarily vetiver. It is best suited for daytime wear during spring, summer, and even autumn, and works well for both formal and casual occasions. Its longevity was excellent on me, lasting up to 10 hours with noticeable projection. As I understand it, this is a limited edition, so I recommend checking it out; if you enjoy the citrus-aromatic-woody style, you will almost certainly like it. I absolutely loved it.

Newly joined here so an amateur reviewer. However a huge fan of this house and have bought multiple of their fragrances - my current favourite is Colonia Il Profumo. So I was excited to acquire this limited edition also. TBH, when it arrived I was a bit unsure. The wonderful thing about Colonia Il Profumo is its opening sherbet citrus blast - and in this edition, that has been replaced by ylang, which is too dry on my view and should be sweeter. However on further wearing, it’s clear that the ylang adds more clarity and longevity as it dries down, so enjoying this edition more and more. In summary - an interesting flanker, alongside Colonia Il Profumo.

Found this at Corte Ingles and it's beautiful. I own the original and another flanker and it's better than both.

Absolutely heavenly smell. If only it wasn't this expensive but I understand the limited edition logic

Getting this from a sample..... Absolute citrus bomb opening, and settles in to a balance between the fresh photorealistic citrus fruits to the patchouli underneath. Nothing overly complex about it for the wild price point, but as with most of the Acqua di Parma range, it is mass appealing and generally a nice fresh smell. Whenever looking at heavy citrus fragrances, I always think, would I have this over Terre d'Hermes - no is the answer.
