Adam Levine for Men

Like other animals, smell, including body odour (BO), plays an important role in human interactions. Some cultures have the custom of smelling each other in greeting. And I agree that BO from dirty armpits, clothes, genitals and feet can evoke disgust and are associated with poor personal hygiene, especially in Western culture. But not all BOs are necessarily bad and disgusting. For example, some people smell nice and attractive when they sweat after exercise, sweet and clean, with no acidic or foul notes. Some people smell good to us, and others don't. So next time you're worried about smelling a little stinky around you, don't worry—others will probably love it. I wanted to clarify because I've read myriad reviews that denigrate this perfume. After all, it is reminiscent of BO. Where the bouquet releases BO-like accords, I find it pleasant, clean, and fresh, much less embarrassing than the smell of cumin! That said, I love the Maroon 5 band, and I have loved the frontman singer Adam Levine's voice since their first debut album, "Songs about Jane". Like many of his fellow singers, Adam created his own line of perfumes and entrusted the mandate to the nose of Yann Vesner, who made several famous masterpieces for LeLabo, Elizabeth Arden, Marc Jacobs and not least, Tom Ford. For this all-male version, the bottle has the shape of a retro microphone similar to the RCA 44 series tape. It contains a light grey liquid with purplish reflections, compared to the more slender female one, with a very clear amber liquid. And the two fragrances are distant from each other. The women's perfume is a woody floral eau de parfum. At the same time, the men's eau de toilette is a woody citrus and fruity. The perfume opens astringent and tart with an explosion of soapy lemonade and balsamic accords. It includes citrus fruits and aromatic herbs, dazzling. The blend of full-fledged grapefruit, lemongrass, and tangerine is so fizzy it's almost reminiscent of citrus candies filled with fizzy powder. Citrus fruits are raw, nighter depurated, and not refined. A few minutes later, the tanginess of the citrus peels eases as the lemongrass grows more and more with a mentholated and earthy slant. Finally, a hint of aromatic dewy violet and green sage come together after a while without overpowering the other notes. If I had to classify the opening, I would say more citrusy and less aromatic. I have to wait almost half an hour, after which a sweeter, tropical, and fruitier aroma announces the approach of the heart. Now I clearly get the sweetness of passion fruit and tartness of guava leaves, which are aromatic when mashed and have a similar scent to the fruit itself. The result of the fruity nuance combined with the bitter citrus leftovers lingering in the back is akin to an exotic fruit salad with chopped guava, passionfruit pulp and a splash of ginger juice. Oddly enough, the sulphurous grapefruit top note continues unabated for several hours, which is rare for a citrus note to last longer. The scent remains in the fresh, citrus and aromatic area, with a fruity nuance dominated by the crushed guava leaves. That passionfruit and guava bland is what makes the difference here. The more it grows, the more it gets musky and salty. The olfactory roster mentions a couple of woods, namely cedar and sandal. Still, I get a little of the two. A hint of creaminess may be there, but the pencil shavings aroma of the cedar is missing. The amber is not the warm and cosy sweet blend. Instead, a salty and somewhat sweaty amber akin to ambergris. Although it is not groundbreaking or disruptive, it smells fine, and the grapefruit-lemongrass combo gives it a twist. Not a huge performer, but moderate. It's ok; I can reapply it if needed as a daily cologne. Right for the warm seasons, both spring and summer seem good. It has a sporty vibe, so it fits the leisure day, pool, and beach. Something in the out-of-the-shower vibe. The bottom line, I would not strive to grab a bottle of it, but if I came across it, I would buy it as a daily refresher. On those days I don't want to think about what to wear. I'm basing my review and though on a bottle I've owned since December 2020.

My favorite, so sad it seems to be discontinued :( I don't get the "BO" notes everyone else is complaining about. This was my go to fragrance from like 2014-2020, until I couldn't find it anywhere anymore. It used to be sold at Target for like 20 bucks, now there's a few left on ebay or resellers for around 50. Still, a price I'm willing to pay. I've been trying for 4 years to find a fragrance I like as much as this one and none of them have ever come close. On me it lasts a couple hours, and on clothes it can be smelled all the way into the next day at around noon, then it starts to disappear. I have such a hard time describing this scent (and being able to find a replacement) because I can't quite3 figure out which note(s) is/are the ones that stick so well to me. At first I thought it was sandalwood and cedar, but every sandalwood/cedar scent I've been able to get my hands on smell nothing like this. So few fragrances even have grapefruit and sandalwood both in them (try searching for those notes here, it's a shockingly small list!) My current theory is it's something about the ginger and lemon grass and maybe the sage, though a previous reviewer claimed the amber is less sweet and more salty, sweaty, which I can see (but in a sexy way, and this is coming from a guy who normally HATES animalics). They compared it to ambergris, so maybe that is an ingredient I should try to seek out. My take on this fragrance is that it smells like a very sexy sweat kind of scent. I would spray it generously on my torso and clothes, and I loved being able to smell myself as I went to bed or woke up the next morning. If I had to choose one fragrance for the rest of my life it would be this. It is a bit harsh when you first open it up, but the sexy sweaty scent comes out to play as the fragrance ages on the skin. I've noticed some bottles from resellers are clear (my memory of the real fragrance when it first came out) and some have a purple-ish hue. I'm not sure why, I'm worried the purple ones are fake but this is such a niche fragrance that seems hard to believe, though maybe there are more people like me than I realize who love it! I've found the real trick to this is letting the bottle sit, pretty uncared for for a few weeks or months. I know it sounds weird but I used to just bring it with me in my backpack to campus and carry it around everywhere. The bottle saw light and was constantly being shaken around and exposed to severe temps either direction, but after a couple weeks/months you lose that tart opening note and just get almost straight into a sexy, sweaty, manly scent. I love it and am hoping every day that it makes a return :( if anyone has any old bottles they want to sell for cheap PLEASE reach out to me, thanks! :)

I was given a sample of this and Adam Levine for Her and if I didn't know better I'd say the vials had been switched. For Him reminds me very much of Yves St. Laurent's Baby Doll, a grapefruit stunner with pretty pink juice that I doubt ANY man would reach for and few dare to display amongst their bottle collection. But AL For Him ups the ante and is far superior to Baby Doll, which is beautiful but linear: all grapefruit, all the time. AL For Him is a complex citrus aromatic with woody undertones that give it a savory bite that's both energizing and truly delicious. It's true that grapefruit is front & center but mandarin sweetens the grapefruit and cedar and lemongrass combine to give it a fresh, outdoorsy feeling. Ladies, do give this one a try on your own skin before you gift it to the man in your life. I'm betting you'll keep it for yourself. I'll be purchasing a full bottle ASAP, it's that beautiful to my nose and on my female skin. Guys, you might also want to give AL For Her a skin test. It's in a bottle that has nothing feminine about it so no one would wonder why you've got a "woman's" fragrance in your collection and I suspect the fragrance itself might be as much to your liking as AL For Him. AL For Her is a boozy blend of spices and woods that reminds me of the intent behind Kate Walsh's Boyfriend: "your boyfriend's scent on your skin." I think Mr. Levine just might be having a good laugh with this little switcheroo he's playing -- with "For Him" and "For Her" labels on fragrances so perfectly unisex. Or perhaps his intent is to debunk the whole men's/women's labels entirely - and I think that would be very good thing indeed. Forget labels & wear what you love!

My friend knew how much I love Grapefruit in fragrances, and she told me about this one she saw at Kohl's. Its for men and yes it has enough male notes like sage, and lemongrass, but its summery enough that a woman can definitely get away with it. I bought a 3.4 and its one of my go to summer scents. Women, give it a whirl if you like grapefruit. You can always layer it with a bit more floral, but I personally can rock this without layering. Its odd really, and I can't stop smelling it. It has a lot of notes that are good in deodorant so it smells super fresh. I wonder if people who think B.O. are just associating the deodorant notes, which I personally love.

I hate to love this stuff. But don't let the name turn you off! Adam Levine is a complete tool, but this tropical punch of a fragrance is awesome. It reminds me a bit of Boss Bottled Sport and I Am King, but it's vastly superior to both. I get the faint body odor smell at first, but just a hint--just enough to make it a little dirty. The passion fruit, mandarin, and guava notes are most prominent. To me it smells like a breeze by the pool on a Carribean cruise ship, the faint sweat from tan bodies, and island cocktails. Not an everyday scent for sure, but the perfect occasional indulgence.

This is really, really good. It's loaded with blackcurrant and citrus in the top, lending a challenging catty armpit funk to the opening. An attractive woody accord marries the armpit funk to a nice heart of what is probably paradisamide and a delicate floral element. The drydown is a lovely woody musk that reminds me of Nautica Voyage. Oddly, I don't really get any lemongrass. This is probably the best celebrity release in years.

I actually really like this one and so does my girlfriend; I def get the BO smell if it is sprayed on a piece of paper but not when sprayed on the body. I was also surprised that it doesn't seem to be overly synthetic which I expected. I think a lot of these reviews tend to be hate towards Adam Levine.

I do not own this fragrance. This review is based on my opinion from the tester. I tried it today at target and was amazed at how great it smelled. Something totally different from axe body sprays. On my chemistry I got ginger citrus. I love it. I am determined to get it at some point.

Everyone's different, but what I got is pure grapefruit through and through. From beginning to end! It's pretty awesome, and it last a long while for a citrus fragrance. I got NO body odor everyone's talking about.

I am now the proud owner of a bottle of this stuff. Its fantastic!!! Even better then I remember. Found a 1.7 ounce for 20 bucks at Burlington. Pretty good deal.

Smells really sexy. If I had a boyfriend I'd buy it for him....so he can smell like Adam Levine haha ;)

I've actually been wearing this one a lot lately when I get home in the evening after work. Trying to get a "feel" for it before wearing it out in public, since it does seem to have such love/hate tendencies. And that's why I haven't brought myself to actually step out in work/church/ect. with it on.;) Personally, I get none of the B.O. or "cat pee" vibe that others speak of. Sure, there is a strong/dominant grapefruit note in here, that after the fruitiness starts to wear off...comes off sharply tart and a bit sour like you would expect this note to be. Once and only once....did I smell this in the drydown on my arm and I got kind of a "skin" vibe. Certainly not B.O. by any stretch of the imagination...but something that did remind me of how skin smells.(mildly salty if that makes any sense?!lol) But the big test was with my 26yr old girlfriend....I knew if there was ANY funk in this concoction, she'd pick it up immediately and completely hate it. So I braced myself for what I expected to be a disgusted "yuck face", but she said she absolutely LOVED IT! And that was the drydown!!! The opening she said was nice...but went ga-ga over the drydown. Weird, as I was expecting the opposite and that the fruity opening would win her over instead. So I don't buy into these claims of B.O./cat pee, unless this frag does a serious Jekyll/Hyde thing depending on skin chemistry? So in a nutshell...yes, I think it's a good/slightly unique offering.(well, for a designer-celeb release anyway) I find it to be well composed and fairly natural smelling with a drydown that's pretty long lasting as well. This IMHO, is at least worth a try for the $10-15 that a 100mil can now be found for now. IF....you like sweet fruity openings and a long lasting slightly sour/bitter grapefruit and cedar drydown. Which I find very refreshing and a pleasure to sniff.

I've been using this for a few years. The grapefruit is so different, yet simple and unique, I do really like this scent. If your an athletic, well built guy, you care about your appearance, and your hygiene, this scent goes along perfectly with you then. I do wish it was a bit stronger and lasted longer, but it's such a cool, unique, light, refined scent. Everyone has different skin, oily or dry, and different noses and what they consider pleasing and smelling bad. This scent seems to garner all kinds of different reactions. Girls/women 21-45 absolutely love this, and it always gets my girlfriend in the mood when she looks at me and smells this on me. This is very good and definitely a unique scent, for the price you shouldn't pass it up. Like I said though, Adam needs to work with the people who made the scent and figure how to make it last longer on your skin, Longevity for this is not more than 2 hours on my skin, perhaps call that version Adam Levine Intense...... Also if you have oily skin, it may not last as long, or the drydown scent smells different than on other people without oily skin. Since my purchase of Kenz L'eau Par, this one is going to get used up and put on the back burner, Kenzo is just too good. Scent:7 Sillage:5 Longevity:3 Uniqueness:8 Overall:6

In truth, I have no idea who Adam Levine is. :) But 50 ml of a delightful citrus scent nosed by Yann Vasnier for $10 at Marshalls?? YES please. I get grapefruit and guava with a touch of the spicy ginger and sandalwood for the notes. It's an EDT, and citrus top notes traditionally do not endure for long. That and the fact that the base is not musk- it would be unrealistic to expect super longevity. But Adam Levine "for men" is quite pleasant top to drydown. IMO it is absolutely unisex. I also picked up the "women's" version because Yann Vasnier nosed that as well. IMO that one is also unisex. Re: the bottles. I love the fact that the caps fit well and do not fall off easily. Extra points for that. As always, it's only my opinion and YMMV.

The bottle: It's simple and perfect for Adam Levine that is shape like a microphone because he is a singer... Inside the bottle: When first sprayed you get the fresh grapefruit,guava and lemongrass... Which I thought it was going to give it a weird smell but it works! When dried you get hints of powder scent which I believe it's the violet leaf that might be giving off that smell. but not strong enough to be very noticeable, but it definitely smells a little more of a mature scent but still youthful. Longevity is okay you might have to spray again after a couple hours. Overall: It's perfect for someone who loves fresh,sweet and light scent. I feel like this scent can be unisex.

This one is along the lines of say, Gucci by Gucci Sport. I know it smells like something else but I can't for the life of me think of it. Oh well. I've always liked the Gucci Sport but it's just that, a like. Of course I want it because it's Adam Levine but it isn't an absolute love or favorite one bit. It's a perfect starter fragrance for a teenager or young man. : ) Jackson Spines! You are absolutely right! It is Eva! Bravo! That is kind of hilarious though really. Oh Adam! : )

Intense grapefruit at the top, then passionfruit mix with the grapefruit, and at the end, passionfruit mixed with Guava. I think is this final stage that people relate to BO, but I'll tell you this, I hope my BO was something like this....because I would not need so many colognes then!!!!. Passionfruit is always sour, and guava could be sour or sweet, depending on how ripe it is. In this cologne, both are sour. Nice....refreshing, not so long lasting.

I had to try a decant sample of this before it was clearanced out by a fragrance decant business. The scent of this isn't too bad. It's mainly citrus. I don't get a "BO" vibe at all like other people say they do. I just smell a slight pungeant scent due to the Grapefruit and Guava notes. This is really different in a citrus scent then all others I've tried, IMO.

I like this stuff. Its pretty much pure grapefruit at the start and the drydown turns to a citrus/guava vibe. Its powerfully fresh in a citrus kinda way that I really like. I keep smelling to see if I can detect a BO or cat pee tone that people keep mentioning but I don't get it. For 10 bucks- its a great deal.

This seems to be a love or hate kinda frag. I really love it. Strong passion fruit vibe. It smells like nothing you've ever smelled before. Not genetic at all. Will definitely get compliments and questions about what you're wearing. Great value

I just tried this cologne at kohls. I noticed the nice guava scent and then I thought, I Love this guava scent. But then I had a near existential question-Do I want to smell like a guava? And the answer so far is no.

I was gifted this years ago, and just like many other reviewers on here, my nose picked up on that strange B.O. aroma from it. I'm not sure if it was from the grapefruit note, but no matter how long I tried to like it or get used to it, that whole body odor smell just never went away. The performance is only "okay" if you overspray you get around 4-6 hours at best, and you'll get an arms length of projection for an hour with it. When it was still available, you could buy this for $20, so you get what you pay for. Ultimately, I gave away my bottle. Even if I hadn't experienced the body odor aroma from it, it was just a super generic celebrity scent. If you have a decent sized collection, you will probably get bored with it very quickly.

Thought it was going to be unique given the BO claims here, but it's really nothing like Magnetic Blend 1 (or even a trace at all)--it's just a typical freshie fragrance: subtle woody, and citrusy frag. Seems to be better value though compared to more expensive options, but this frag is too average and common for my taste, but still a great wear if you're looking for an inexpensive freshie frag.

i personally dont think its that bad. i really do like the grapefruit in this. however i do see what prior reviewers mean with that female armpit scent. so weird lol, its only 13 bucks.. not groundbreaking but would be ideal for a person who is not a collector and just wants 2 or 3 cologne in his collection.

Wore this in the 5th grade. I got this from a Marshall's for like $20 and didn't really think anything else of it, but now I think I should've stuck to 1 million 😭

Also got this from Marshalls i while back. I used to really love the citrus (grapefruit) opening. It was a really great freshie fragrance for me back in the day (i wasn't into fragrances back then but I loved smelling great). I used to think i was the best smelling guy then. The bottle was also cool, kinda looked like a microphone, and had this texture that i always liked holding ( i would remove the cap just to like feel the ridges). I could've sworn the juice was pale yellow-ish and not blue as presented in the official photos. Nostalgic scent. Here's the catch though: I had to THROW IT OUT. After wearing it for a few months, i always thought it's the teenage hormones in me making me smell like BO. Like armpit BO! But i noticed it was coming from my neck, which was weird. The BO was coming from this frag! It's so weird. Smells like BO, which in retrospect i think is coming from the guava, but there really is something about the chemical structure of the volatile compounds in this that makes it smell like straight-up BO. Straight to the trash after that. Is this how Adam Levine smells like? Do you think he loved using this before? Pity. "Uh-oh guys the art police is here." (If you get this last reference, i love u)

Accidentally purchased this in a discount shop when looking for the version for women. Can you blame me... it says "for him" in tiiiiiny letters at the very bottom of the box. Oh well, $6.99 I'll never see again. I'm sure there are worse ways to spend seven dollars, though I can also think of many better ones. I don't like this. The grapefruit in this reminds me of another intense, unsweetened grapefruit scent I recently sampled - Dasein Summer. It's a mean and angry little grapefruit that almost pokes you - the edges are so sharp and aggressive. It's a citrus bully! When I put it on I was immediately reminded of a cleaning product - you know the ones that are just slightly fancier, the Mrs. Meyers type that cost a few bucks extra but smell like citrus or pine or basil, or what have you. Well, this smells like citrus cleaning spray. And damn, it is TENACIOUS! That grapefruit lasts and lasts... I can imagine liking this smell if it were subtly lingering in a freshly cleansed kitchen on bathroom. Anywhere on my body? No thanks. It's a scrubber. edit: i asked my husband to sample this without telling him what it was. He sprayed it on a wrist & then screwed up his face and said, "Whhhyyyy?"

Adam Levine, for guys could almost be...well...really nice. But I too smell the body odor smell. And I don't mean your typical, didn't use deodorant, body odor that wafts up your nose at the hippy fairs. This is the sharp, sour, scratchy, high pitched, acrid smell you get when you wear an antiperspirant, become sweaty and maybe haven't had enough water to drink. TMI? Just giving my honest opinion. That aforementioned smell also resembles cat pee a bit, juniper bush and maybe even gin with lime ( but I like that last one!)I love the initial grapefruit note and so wished it would stick with that theme but I think it's the guava that ruins it for me. We used to have a guava tree in our back yard and when we moved away, to another state where you can't grow guava, we took a big five gallon bucket with us for the road trip. After a few days, the guava on bottom gave off an odor, not unlike the description above....sour..sour...sour! Personally, I LOVE the ladies version from Adam Levine and I wanted to like this one too but it just goes too far...lol.

I feel a little betrayed by this one. One of my local discount outlets had both AL fragrances on deep-discount, and I purchased the EDP for women, because the notes look interesting and the feedback was quite good, unlike the "body odor" comments the men's version had gotten. And sure enough, the AL for Women surprised me with how lovely and sophisticated it was. I will be happy to wear it in the colder months. So I went back to the same store later that day, and purchased the EDT for men. Because there's no way the drop in quality between the two could be *that* severe. At first spray, and for the first 30 minutes or so, I was gobsmacked. It was not bad at all. In fact, I quite enjoyed the initial stages of this cologne. It was refreshing, good sillage, and the grapefruit/passionfruit/lemongrass fusion struck me as unique and pleasant. About an hour later, I was in the supermarket, and I said to myself, "For the love of goodness, people, deodorant is available everywhere. There's no excuse not to--" Then I realized, it was me. 3/10

I was NOT satisfied by this perfume. I thought it would have been something different from the ordinary men's eau de toilette and after shaves on the market. Judging by its marketing and descriptions, I was looking for something with a more "metrosexual" and "unisex" vibe. Instead I found a very generic and ordinary cologne. This doesn't mean it's bad; it's just...very boring. Fragrance opens very fresh & sour because of lemongrass and grapefruit notes, but then, on me, does not evolve that much. In the dry down phase tropical maracuja and passion lead the fragrance to maintain the fruity vibe while the ginger and cedar keep it fresh and lightly earthy. I don't get the "body odor" that some people seems to smell tho. (thank God). The positive thing about this fragrance is that it has a decent longevity for being a celebrity brand. It stands 4 - 6 hours and you can also still smell it after one shower. By the way, I think I will only use this for going to the office or some job meeting.

I read all the reviews prior to buying a sample but I wasn't worried, I've never smelled anything remotely close to body odour in a perfume and few perfumes truly disgust me. I love Adam Levine For Her and I was excited to try this one. I dabbed it on my wrists and I thought it smelled great. Fresh but fortunately not clean (hate this trend), slightly fruity, complex yet discreet, and mostly very elegant. There is a reason this one is blue when the other is yellow. Both are unisex but perfectly wearable as a woman. I checked that it was still available on Fragrancenet and made a note to buy it at a later time. Then, after an hour, it started smelling EXACTLY like men's sweat. Still fruity, but suddenly sour and very human. It's not even THAT gross, but I could never bring myself to wear this in fear that others could mistake it for sweat. I'm disappointed that it's not for me, but glad that the full bottle was too expensive to blind buy on Fragrancenet. Still. Bummer!

I hate to write this review as it may come off snobbish. However, here it goes. This goes on beautifully with sour frutiness. The opening is one of the most appealing I have smelled in a fragrance. But........................ 10 minutes into it it is light, the fruity accord up top has dissapated and what is left is a genric men's fragrance much like something you find at the bottle of Kenneth Cole or Calvin Klein (I actually like the CK Summers much better than this). I actually prefer many of the Bath and Body works fragrances to this. This is an epic fail. I wanted to love this one as I keep wishing a designer men's fragrance will wow me. This one is very kin to I Am A King.

Out of mere curiosity I bought this one at Marshals for $7. All I can say is DISGUSTING! @djbuffoon was spot on when he mentioned that it made him smell like B.O.(Body Odor)- no joke here folks... from beginning to the awful end... nothing but B.O. I bought the women's version for my better half some weeks ago and I'm now confused how awesome her's smell. Grateful it was only $7. down the drain, cus I certainly had to wash this appalling and nauseating bottle of crap off. Why would Adam Levine put his name on this much more sell it?

The juice isnt as blue,and the sprayer edge actually curves and isnt straight,so if it runs out u might not be able to finish the whole thing,actually smells like hb sport just because of the grapefruit note,this is sweeter,and less sharp,unfortunately not as unique,this one has moderate sillage but quickly fades after 3 hours to the point there is no trsace,and smells kinda sticky...but its worth the try and a possinle budget version of hb sport

The forum has nailed this, I definitely get grapefruit, and then the guava, the prominent note throughout is grapefruit. It is fresh, summer worthy, but I just don’t dig it. Maybe in time it will grow on me? It is certainly unique, not like anything else I have, so I will reserve judgment until the summer of isolation has ended. If you have no interest in a bitter grapefruit scent than this is going to be a pass.

This fragance is very cheap if you get it as a tester on ebay. however there is something that i did not enjoy from the start when i was wearing it. i did not get any compliments to start and i did got some feedback :(... one friend said that it smelled like when you are already sweating and yo apply cologne to hide it but its too late hahaha... after that comments i totally understood what he meant.

The opening is a blast of fresh citrus and I loved it. But then like in 40 minutes is goes so wrong. I wanted to like it but I just couldn't. That dry down was horrible. The presentation looks very nice and the price is very moderate. Give it a try!!! Maybe you will love it, in my personal opinion I can say this is a very original scent. 2 out of 5.

The opening is a wonderfully accurate citrus smell; it was almost like I split open a fruit upon my arm. A very convincing olfactory impression. Then it just sort of turned into a fruity mess that did not mix well with my skin. I don't care for fruity scents and this doesn't convert me. Interesting bottle, though.

Looks good on the notes here but what i really got from it was; Top note citrus detergent/cleaning product. Middle note body odour with a hint of cat pee. I wont use this and it feels wrong to even give it to someone for free. Luckily i just got a 10ml sample and i understand why the guy even gave me 15ml ;)

A very sour mixture of notes. B.O. is one way to sum it up. The grapefruit and lemon is just to sour from beginning to end. Guava and ginger give it a different element but not to my liking. Luckily I got a sample and did not blind buy. There are far better choices in the same category such as Chrome etc..

I wanted to like this cologne. I purchased it, wore it to work the next day and couldn't wait to get home and scrub it off me. It smelled somewhere between cat pee and body odor. I gave it to my friend and it smells good on him. Definitely a try before you buy thing.

Not great, not terrible. Very citrusy, but for a blind buy for $7, I can't complain. The bottle is very cool. Maybe worth the $7 for the bottle.

I own the women's version and, for its low price, it isn't half bad. This, however, smells exactly like orange peel and nothing else.

The opening is awesome but give it a few mins and it gets funky. I can see the BO comparison. I am scared to wear this one in public.

It has this cheap masculine deodorant kinda smell to it and I do not like it...

Body odor, that's it. Straight up , really BAD body odor. Just say no.

This is one of the fragrances that I despised. I didn't have high expectation of this fragrance, but when I opened up and sprayed it, I got a massive headache. The top note is just a synthetic repulsive mess! I get grapefruit/orangeish notes but the grassy notes do not complement the other notes well. They all play their parts like young children raising their hands screaming to be noticed. This doesn't even belong in summer's aquatic fruity scent category. It belongs in: NOPE! never make this again! category. Do yourself a favor and don't waste $ at the local store even if this is discounted. I rate fragrances with a category that people don't normally talk about, that is how easy it is to get the scent off of the skin when I take shower. This one won't come off after three washes of soaping. Awful! Smelled okay on the paper test strip but once sprayed on the skin it smelled almost exactly like "Eva" by Eva Longoria for women. Sour with that wretched "cat pee" smell. The women's version is better but even it is nothing special. I was really looking forward to this release and unfortunately was left completely disappointed. I also find the bottle design unflattering and tacky. Not worth the price tag. Save your money and buy something else!
