Gethsemane - Elixir of Faith

This stuff is strong! It opens with a very pungent basil with some minerallic nuances. As it starts to dry down the castoreum comes out and it becomes more leathery and smoky. Awesome experience and definitely the longest lasting fragrance ive tried. I could smell it on my arm 26 hours later!

From the last three creations this is my second favorite, although it’s extremely difficult to Choose as I love them all! This one is totally different than Gruia!!! 🥰🙏🥰

Heavy, pronounced greenery and smoky battle leather. A strong 3. Gothic and dark, like Lestat wearing a trench coat. Resinous wood and cloves in the overtone add to the overpowering mystique. Something the Lost Boys would wear. David, is that you? The leather note loses concentration as it wears, until it starts to smell like a rubber tire. Borderline nauseating. 🧛

This perfume is a disaster disguised as a fragrance. It smells of medicinal herbs and stale incense, like something a herbalist threw together in a moldy shack. There’s no balance or refinement just a harsh smell of bitter greens and resins that feels really heavy and overwhelming from the very first spray. The dry down is Just as bad. Wearing this feels like being trapped in a failed science experiment, not like enjoying a well-crafted scent. Finally, in my humble opinion you should never ever blind buy this fragrance. You must smell it first and if you like it ( which i find highly improbable ) then buy it.

kind of obsessed with this scent, although it's hard to pin down why. it is very heavy on medicinal/antisceptic qualities on the opening. it blends with a kind of metallic smell with just an undercurrent of sweet animalic. i think the olive accord here manages to blend things well about 15 minutes in. in the dry down the bay and basil really shine, breaking through the maticide-esque opening and mixing with weighted resins. nothing here quite adheres and it is a scent you can get lost in (maybe not in a good way? but I love how adrift this scent makes me feel). if anyone is selling this please let me know <3
