Adventure

It's quite a loss! Unfortunately, Adidas Adventure was discontinued. You can still find it on the Internet - and in some little (or not so little) shops in Europe. I bought the last of mine in a little town in Germany - a little town, a little bottle of 20 or 30 ml edt. Years ago, Adventure used to be proposed as edt and after shave. It remains the best scent from Adidas, that's for sure. Smells like '80s, in the Mediterranean sense of the word. The longevity and sillage are perfect. Overall, a 8,3/10 frag.

One of the first fragrances I owned, back when I was a teenager. If someone knows where I can purchase this, please send me a message. I remember enjoying the smell of it, but would love to smell it again!

There are no listings for Eddie Bauer fragrances so I am putting my review here: What a pleasant surprise! The one I tried is called Adventure and is vintage (not sure if that matters). This opens with a really nice cool minty quality. However, there is something else going on that I'm not familiar with, which sort of reminds me of cake icing, though this is only slightly sweet. It is not like toothpaste, thankfully. Clearly, it's blended to the point where it's difficult to detect individual notes (other than the obvious mint). I'd say there are subtle herbal and pine elements. Also, there is a kind of tangy quality to it but it's not sour; that may be the best way I can describe it. It's not gourmand but it's almost gourmand, and it's natural smelling (no nasty iso e super fumes or anything like that). Over time it gets weaker but doesn't seem to change much. If you like Roadster you might also like this one, though this one does not have the same kind of note articulation (which you might prefer anyway). Think of a smooth Escape for Men but without any of the irritating "synthetic" and "bubble gum" type qualities of that one, then "breed" it with Roadster. Longevity is at least good.
