Born Original for Him

I think this cologne deserves a bit higher marks! I got it for $9 in a gift set at kohl's ($14.99 and 40% off AND earned Kohl's cash), so no big deal if it smells terrible, right? Well guess what, it's one of my new favorites! I bought two actually, and I think I'll keep the second one, since it doesn't look like it's being sold many places anymore. Admittedly, sweet scents aren't for everyone. This is not as sweet as some, but it does indeed share some similarities with Paco Rabanne scents. But this smells more versatile, and in my opinion, a little more grown up than most of them. It's a bit more of a sweet generic "barbershop" smell, with a tiny bit of that Invictus-esque fruitiness. I really like the rhubarb in this scent! If you like scents from Paco Rabanne, you'll likely love this scent for days when you want something that's still sweet, but a little different or a little less loud. I get tons of compliments on this one and I'll definitely be reaching for it more often! If sweet smells go well with your body chemistry, don't be afraid to try this one. UPDATE: This is also probably the longest lasting $9 cologne I've ever used. It lasts all day with just the right amount of projection. I applied it this morning at 8:30 and now at 3:30 it's still going pretty strong. It's one of the best colognes I've seen in its price range, and it's becoming one of my favorites! If Invictus had a "cologne" flanker, I'd imagine it smelling similar to this. TLDR: Don't knock it 'til you rock it. :)

A Boss Bottled type scent with the sweetness cranked up a notch and a dash of rhubarb thrown in for good measure. The accords above say fresh spicy, but I really don't get much spiciness at all. And 'rich' would be a better word to describe it than 'fresh'. If you don't mind the sweetness, it's a solid everyday scent. Weird bottle, it's a lumpy tower that appears to have been inspired by a crawfish hole.

Update: At some point I got too big for my britches and sold this one off. I ended up really missing it, but recently I just stumbled upon a bottle on ebay, then realized it's still READILY available for CHEAP on ebay! I ended up buying 2x 1oz bottles for $13 ($6.50 each). The bottles are from 2015, but smell completely fine! Glad to have this one back, even in my collection of over 300+.

My favorite adidas scent by far. I’ve moved on and gotten much more complex and mature scents, but I wore this for years. I still have a few mm in my last bottle and wear it for nostalgia once in awhile.

Not bad. Warm and sweet. But very very weak.

Smells like the shampoo they give you in Holiday Inn hotels. I also get a hint of coconut even though it's not listed as a note.

after wearing for about a week I'm giving this high marks for smell, longevity and projection, all are rather good especially for the price, $8 on amazon. on my skin I get about 7 hours longevity. projection is difficult for me to gauge. I can smell my scent trail as I move around and I can detect it without burying my nose into my arm or wrist. as far as the notes I dont smell rhubarb at least not the tart rhubarb I'm familiar with. I can detect lavender, a spiced, not bright orange and woodsy notes. This reminds me of a cross between 1 million and Le Male but not quite as much depth, it's just a tad lighter and smoother than either of those two. I guess I would categorize this as a sweet barbershop type scent but not overly spiced. the votes suggest year round scent but to me it seems more like a cool weather/ warm weather- not to to exceed wearing in the 90 deg Fahrenheit - type of scent. i blind bought this and I'm happy because of it reminds of le male and I ran out of that fragrance. i wont be spending any money on another bottle of le male.

This was a nice suprice, i never expected such a great fragrance from Adidas, it really smells good, way over my expectations, i really recommend this to everyone at least try it, some may find it to be a mainstream Product as it reminds me of a lot of others these days, but all in all i think this one will be remembered as a good fragrance from Adidas.

Surprisingly good. I sprayed some on in Kohl's on a whim, not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. It has an Abercrombie Fierce meets YSL L'homme vibe to it. It's very similar to the vibe that I get out of MFK Amyris. So anyone looking for a less expensive version of any of those fragrances should check this one out.

The bottle looks like a copy of "Joop! Splash"
