Moves Her

I'm stunned to see such few reviews of this fragrance. It truly is a hidden gem. I wore this in college for years and purchased it again last year when I finally found it online. It's one of the hardest fragrances to find anywhere, so it doesn't hurt to stock up if you buy it from an actual store. It's available at Walmart and probably on Amazon. It's fresh, aquatic, sporty, maybe a little floral to some, and citric. Beautiful combination of notes. I carried the travel-size one when I travelled abroad last year and got so many compliments on the fresh scent. I ended up giving it to my sister (who completely fell in love with it) since I had the larger version at home. I typically do not re-purchase fragrances, but this is one of the ones I always go back to. In terms of longevity-- I've noticed that many years back, the fragrance lasted the entire day. I never once had to re-apply this fragrance. The current version doesn't make it through the day, hence buying the gift set that comes with a travel-size, so you can carry it in your purse and re-apply at some point during the day. I've never been the type of person to re-apply perfumes since I am conscious of body chemistry changing throughout the day, which can affect how a perfume smells towards the end of the day. However, this one is perfectly fine to re-apply. Given how fresh the fragrance is, most people will smell it from a distance in a good way. This isn't one of those fragrances where everyone's choking on the fumes from a mile away. If anything, you'll receive compliments about how good and fresh you smell when you walk into a room, before you stand near anyone. This would certainly be a safe blind-buy, no doubt. Also...I've not smelled D&G Light Blue, it's on my list of "to buy", so I can't agree or disagree about its similarity to Adidas Moves. However, I owned Cafe Cafe Puro, which is said to smell similar to D&G Light Blue. I don't quite see the similarities between A. Moves and Cafe Puro. I own Cool Water, which I think comes in a lot sharper when you first spray it. I do see the similarities between the two, but they are distinct enough for me to justify owning them both.

I was looking for a classic aquatic fragrance from the 1990s - so, I bought Adidas Moves Her since it won a FiFi award. The fragrance was pleasant enough; however, this particular scent is one of the most fleeting I have ever experienced. I am familiar with Adidas' light and sporty fragrances but this is the shortest-lived scent I have ever worn. I think it might have lasted 30 minutes at most. Update: I tried this fragrance again fresh out of the shower and moisturized skin and it lasted much longer (doh!). I also think the drier weather probably helped the longevity the second time around. I really enjoy this fresh, aquatic scent and look forward to wearing it this summer 🌞 Another update: I'm now truly addicted. This fragrance awoke the aquatic beast in me. I wouldn't even think about another freshie last year; however, I'm now wearing this gem every. damn. day. This frag is perfect for a hot Texas summer. I'm in love. Edit May 2026: first time wearing it again for the summer. I'm still in love.

Aquatic Cedar Freshie... With the initial spray there's a bit of a sting, but once the spray dries I get vintage Cool Water Women Davidoff vibes. This isn't a dupe however, and doesn't get nearly as sweet in the drydown as Cool Water which has honey. The ginger note here reminds me a little of Un Jardin Après La Mousson Hermès, but again this isn't a dupe. There's an overall aquatic vibe here, built from calone which isn't listed, and reminiscent of the late 90s/early 2000s. Over time the cedar comes out which is enjoyable. Light performance, appropriate for the gym etc. Affordable, and those not sensitive to calone might like this. Enjoy!

I'm a bit sensitive to fragrances, but this perfume doesn't bother me at all. It is a very nice, fresh, unobtrusive smell. I am sad to say I don't smell the ginger or lemon like others seem to, but that may be because I cook with ginger and lemon often, so perhaps I have slightly desensitized myself to that smell haha. Smells fresh and like flowers but not flowery, if that makes sense. It lasts plenty long for me, but that might be because of the cool dry weather where I live. This is a great perfume, coming from someone who doesn't like most perfumes.

Finally Moves For Her got listed! I wore this scent for years while in college, and I still wear it today. It has to be the best sporty/aquatic/refreshing women's scent I have ever smelled. I don't wear it often anymore, but it never fails to receive compliments...not that compliments are what I'm basing my love on, but they're always nice to hear. Such a lovely scent at a very inexpensive price. Sort of a cross between D&G Light Blue and Cool Water. I'm not crazy about either of those, but Moves For Her is and will always be a love for me.

One of my favourite affordable easy reaches, Moves for Her is a fresh and vibrant, fresh spicy almost herbal scent with a hint of floral soap in the die down. It's got a zing that ginger would bring in the opening. It reminds me of running soccer drills - like fresh mornings in the dewy grass with orange peels leftover from the team snack. Even though there's no citrus note, I think it's best compared to and grouped in with that category.

I love this soooo much. I only wish it lasted longer, but to me it is so worth it still. So fresh, and so perfect. Not sure what it is, but there is nothing that I don't enjoy about this scent. Even though it's fresh, to me it is also kinda musky...it can smell a bit unisex/masculine IMO, but I enjoy that in my perfumes apparently lol..I hope they never stop making it!

This was my first ever perfume! I want to order it again - but I remember it being fresh and down-to-Earth in a way. Looking it up now - will edit once I get some :)

I enjoy the woody ginger of this perfume, it's inexpensive and always pleasant to wear. I probably never would've bought it if I hadn't been working in very close quarters around 10 years ago with a woman who told me she was allergic to perfume in general, but not this one. She said her daughter wore this and it didn't trigger her allergies, or whatever she had going on with most perfumes. So I could continue to smell nice but not bum this woman out, I bought this and found out I liked it also. It smells to me like it should be citrusy and aquatic somehow so I'm surprised to see none of that in the pyramid. It was the only perfume I took with me on my last spring break trip and it was a great vacation perfume as well.

I had a bottle of the original and loved it. And when it ran out, I sniffed a replacement bottle - & put it back on the shelf, it was not as good as before. Ten years on, I blind-bought another bottle, and I'm back to loving it again, the original being too distant a memory to cast any shade. But when people say it no longer has any longevity, they're not kidding: it's gone in half an hour on me. So I'm starting to Google dupes for the cheapest perfume I've ever owned. Yo, Coty: I'll pay for a luxe version, if it lasts even half the day! (Don't say Cool Water, it isn't the same.) So, this is down to a "like": the hunk who turns out to be a total flake.

I used to wear this back in the day in high school because it was so cheap. I was at Walmart around Christmas time and saw their testers and sprayed this on my wrist for nostalgic sake. I actually still like the way this smells! I’m surprised it’s still around. I got a 1oz bottle off amazon for super cheap to add to my gym perfumes. It’s super fresh and aquatic smelling.

I wore this back when I was a young teenager. It has a very fresh and clean scent that is pleasant but it isn't sophisticated or mature. It has a sporty vibe and I think its perfect for an athletic teen. I personally won't wear it again, not because its a bad scent, but because I feel like I have outgrown it.

flatter, lighter dupe of davidoff's cool water, a good buy if you love the og. cheapie fresh & squeaky clean unisex scent, leaning towards masculine.

I had this as a teenager. I remember it smelled like fruit loops!

A fresh soapy aquatic scent. A little bit like laundry detergent. The cedar is strong and reminds me of lemon. Clean and fun!

I'm shocked there is only two reviews on here for this, especially since it's inexpensive and it can be found everywhere!!! That being said, yesterday I found a Xmas clearance aisle at one of the drug stores I shop at and the was in there. Full size bottle and a mini/travel size bottle. I forgot how much I loved this!!! It's a really clean, beautiful scent. It makes me think of a sporty woman who knows exactly who should is and what she wants in life. It falls in with like the cool water type perfumes so if you are into those you should grab this

I used up the last of this today :(. Contemplating getting another since it's so cheap and I don't have anything else like it in my collection. A nice sporty, fresh scent. Somewhat green and woody with a tang of citrus. It's similar to Chanel's Chance Eau Fraiche, Davidoff's Cool Water, D&G Light Blue, so if you enjoy scents like that, you'll likely enjoy this one. I especially enjoy it because it feels completely casual and perfect for field work, working out in the gym, or going for a run. It's crisp and doesn't drown out your senses.

One of my first perfumes that I bought with my own money back in ‘99 or 2000! I would love to revisit it! Neat that it won a Fifi! I do remember a similarity to Cool Water and I can see how it is similar to Light Blue. I would choose this over CK One!

Wore this religiously in High School from 2006-2010. I played soccer, so it just fit the vibe. Just ordered one in 2025 and it smells exactly how I remember. This goes great layered over Not A Perfume Superdose.

Very sporty and fresh scent. I really like the aquatic-woody combo, though the cedar is a little too strong for me. Perfect for a sunny spring/summer day.

I think I will give this perfume a try at Walmart one day it seems nice
