Pure Lightness

I never thought I would like a perfume from adidas that much. For me, adidas is just a sports clothes brand and not a cool one at that. This perfume was perfect for me at first spritz. It is very fresh, light, pleasant, unobtrusive, just perfect freshness with a bit of flowers and some fruityness. I muss confess I can't distinguish apple or melon or lily of the valley out of the "scent burst", but for me it smells all very nice, very harmonic, flattering and is a perfect go-to-scent when I don't know what to wear. (I used to grab "Daisies" or "Beautiful Day" in that case, but both bottles are empty right now ^^) It also fades quite quickly on me, after half an hour I can't smell it anymore anywhere, but I MUCH prefer this to other perfumes that last 2 days on me and sometimes survive showers. I LOVE scents and perfumes, but I hate it when they are too strong and I am stuck with them. I'd rather reapply my scent 6 times a day ^^ it also makes changing the scent easier if for my workday I want a light scent like this one and in the evening I like to change to something heavier or sweeter or just different. It's just a personal preference. Like wearing the same outfit all day or changing twice when I'm home, each to their own ;) So ... very light and friendly and work appropriate scent, also suitable for girls above 10, I'd say, good for after sports, light enough for summer. I just bought another two bottles because with my luck, any scent I really like gets discontinued real fast.

This deceptively inexpensive fragrance is a long-term love for me! The melon and crisp, watery apple lift you up and later, the soft, delicate florals peek through whenever you move or a breeze blows, but it stays light, aquatic, and refreshing. It's definitely my softest, lightest lily of the valley scent. I find the perfume long-lasting; I get whiffs of it all day but I'm very sensitive to scent. This frag has a beautiful, delicate, feminine shimmer effect to it. Perfect for everyday wear, not limited to the gym despite the athletic-wear name. It's nice for brunch or a day date or anytime you just want to smell pretty. It does seem to suggest warm-weather wear but can work year round. It's a bit reminiscent of AA Flora Salvaggia or Jo Malone Wild Bluebell, but I actually like this cheapie better than either of those. I see the resemblance to the DKNY fragrances too.

This is the most delicious, crisp, fresh, fruity feminine smell ever. It’s a shame that it’s discontinued officially and you can only find it online. This is such a good scent adidas should sell it as an EDP and i’d buy it no matter how expensive they price it. Totally signature scent worthy. I want something exactly like this that isn’t discontinued 🥹♥️

Smells like freedom — like the early 2000s when everything felt lighter, easier, and full of possibilities. It’s airy, slightly sweet, with a fresh fruity kick — like a mix of green apple and melon, with a hint of “after rain” freshness. Perfect for everyday wear — light, clean, and effortlessly pretty. An absolute gem for the price.

I'll give this a love! I scored this for $18.88 at Shoppers this afternoon. 😍 Its fresh, its fun! I'm a very active person, sporty if you will and this fits me pretty good for a freshen up! Very satisfied with this and will keep it near the front of my collection. Great blind buy.

Out of the adidas scents, this is my possible fav. It's light, not overpowering, sweet versatile and appropiate for young folks like me. I didin't expect much from adidas, but this is a nice effort from the brand. I love melon scents and this is great.

Clean, calm, and relaxing. This is what DKNY Be Delicious should smell like. This is much smoother than Be Delicious and lacks the screechy shampoo punch of that metallic green apple.

Just a very basic approach to a very classic scent, the kind of thing you can spray on before leaving to run errands or go to school, or work. Very lovely and very safe scent.

Please Adidas make this one into an EDP, this is so fresh and energetic. To me it smells more like cucumber than apple though. The melon also comes through. Amazing scent <3

I bought a small 15ml bottle of this and it's perfect to throw in my gym bag. The perfect scent to put on while working out. It's fresh, light and non offensive.

One of my favorite aquatic scents:smells nothing like Cool Water on me.The name fits it perfectly-if you want to smell fresh and clean this is perfect:)

Pooor longevity! nice melony smell fresh, specially after a workout. Longevity is my only complaint.

Imagine a bouquet of candied apples and lotus blossoms. I think this scent is one of the most underrated ones, just because it is Adidas? A perfectly well balanced perfume in my opinion, top notes are candy sweet I agree, but wait a while for those oriental flowers to take shape, I smell lotus, orchid, frangipani, to name a few, held together by calone-nic notes. Younger and sweeter than The Body Shop's Oceanus by a hundred times, as Oceanus has this musky old lady base. Sillage is incredible on me, ( 4 spritzes in the morning is all it takes to keep a small air-conditioned music studio fresh for at least 6 hours and heck no, i wasn't using it as an air freshener, I actually used it on ME, that's how scarily good the sillage is). Contrary to what other reviewers mentioned, i think the only similarity between Cool Water and this are the calones, as this very much lack that irritating talcum-sharpness of Cool Water. It's also dirt cheap to boot. An excellent fruit-floral pick-me-up that wouldn't make you sneeze.

I tried this hoping for melon and aquatic. The top notes deliver that well, but it dries down to a standard laundry soap scent very quickly, which I'm not into. But I still use this fragrance for the weirdest reason! I found that spraying it on clothing that smells dirty (e.g. after the gym, or when you arrive at work after walking in the humid heat) completely neutralises the smell of body odor and sweat! Now apparently this is not intentional- there's no "neutralising agent" in Adidas fragrances like there might be in deodorants, so i think it's just a coincidence that the laundry floral smell perfectly counters the smell of dirty clothing. So i use this as needed at work and for the gym, + I can still wear my chosen perfume over the top without any clash (no, I don't smell like laundry for the rest of the day!). A very unexpected essential to my perfume wardrobe! And in fact, it's less of a perfume to me and more of a hygiene essential on some days!

To me this was a real find among the budget friendly sport fragrances. And yes, I'm one of those who wants to wear a fragrance even while doing sports. However, I do find that this is something that can be worn outside the gym as well. A very fresh, fruity, nice and easy everyday scent. And this is so much more classier and more well balanced than what you would expect for the price tag. To me this is like an enhanced version of Cool Water or Aqua di Gioia. Not just aquatic, ozonic and watery, but with clear sweet fresh fruity notes included in it.

Very pleasant. Excellent for summer, especially when it's super hot. I usually wear sweet perfumes but now it's over 40 degrees Celsius and I (and the people around me) just can't stand heavy fragrances. I was looking for something light, fresh and cheap. And I found it! It smells like water/ swimming pool/ sea. Perfect for hot summers! It projects at about an arm's length and lasts about 4-5 hours now when it's 42 degrees so I guess that if it's colder it will last longer. Oh, and it's so cheap!

I bought this after I'd been told that it's similar to Clean and Cool Water, but I have to say, I really don't see it. Very strong and floral, but pleasant after it fades a little. I can see this fragrance being quite offensive if you put on too much. EDIT: I gave this another go, and definitely smell Cool Water now. I don't know why I thought it was so strongly floral at first - now I smell melon and fresh water. I don't think it's strong at all anymore. The nose sure is weird, isn't it?

I was surprised with this fragrance! I wasn't expecting much because it's Adidas, but when I sprayed this, I was greeted with the crisp smell of melon and lilies. I was instantly hooked! What surprised me more was its longevity. It lasted all day long and I caught whiffs of it on my used shirt the next day. Pure Lightness is an affordable everyday fragrance.

What stands out to me the most is the lily-of-the-valley. I wouldn't say it's a floral scent, though. It's more on the aquatic/fresh side, perfect if you're feeling full of energy and lighthearted. Not one of my favorites, it's the kind of perfume you'd wear if you went jogging, to give you energy. (Assuming people wear perfume when working out. :P )

Matching its name, Pure Lightness is definitely really light. I use this pretty much on a daily basis for all my normal activities. It does not bother anyone as it is unbelievably light, very soft, and although most of the time the freshness lingers, during the hottest days it's gone after a moment. Probably it's just me and my skin, though :-/

Enjoyable, fresh, and inoffensive. Lasting power is no good, but this is strictly a post-workout scent for me, so I don't want something heavy. I get apple, lily of the valley, and some melon, plus a musky undertone. I can't distinguish the other floral notes but there *is* a clean, powdery aspect to it.

I picked this up yesterday for cheap, and I like it. It's clean without being soapy, it doesn't smell like candy, and you won't have to worry about poisoning anyone who crosses through your contrail. Sometimes I want to smell amazing and compelling. This is for when I just want to smell nice.

This just smells really fresh. In an air freshener kind of way. I use this after gym in hot summer days. And I have to reapply it if I want it to actually smell like something during the day. Now that I see the notes I definitely smell the melon note, but before I couldn't identify it.

I got this one from my mother's friend. There is something odd and interesting in it, but anyway it's very fresh and flowery fragrance. Easy to wear, and ideal for spring and for summer. However, this is not the best Adidas perfume.....

Just gorgeous! I think this is a very good example of an ozonic fragrance, very light, clean, aquatic and airy at the same time. It is also affordable and I think it smells better than a lot of expensive scents

Smells like jungle fantasy from Britney Spears!

Very light, cool, and definitely aquatic. This has a generic melon smell, like a honeydew or the inside shell of a watermelon. The florals and base notes are not coming out on my skin, so this is a bit too much of a one-note melon fragrance to me.

I guess I dislike all adidas scents. This one I won in a raffle and it's to me like a deo- or bodyspray but not a scent. Maybe something you want to use after sports or so. I don't see this as a perfume and it's typically drugstorelike.

It must be the melon, or my skin, I don't know, but this just doesn't work on me! It smells pleasant at first, for about 5 minutes, then settles into this 'wet dog' smell. Whenever I use this, I smell like someone with an odor problem!

I've realised that aquatic scents are really not for me. I got this as a birthday present and I ended up using it as a air freshener, I don't like it a bit!!!

Smells nonthreateningly asexual, deodorant-like, platonic & polite. Says to the world, I took a bath today!

I got this for my mom since she is a lover of all things light and clean and she adores it. DKNY Be Delicious is her current favorite and I picked this since it did remind me of the melon, aquatic/ozonic and light floral aspects of BD but not quite as sweet and not as strong. Most perfumes give her headaches and she detests anything too floral or spicy. This lasts a good 6 hours on skin and clothes but it's so inexpensive and easy to find you can spray as much as you need to. It is similar Cool Water to my nose in some ways and since that is one of my go to warm weather scents, I let mom try that one and it was too harsh and strong for her taste. Her go to Be Delicious can be a bit overwhelming in the hot and humid summers where we live so this is the perfect alternative if you want something similar, I'll call it Be Delicious Lite lol. Very inoffensive and pleasant; gives the impression of good hygiene.

This reminds me of Avon sweet honesty with some melon thrown in a few tweaks but a watered down sweet honesty. Not bad for what it is. I actually can wear it in healthcare it's lighter than Sweet Honesty so comes off as less sweet. which is a plus for me. Sweet Honesty was what all little girls had a bottle of in the 70's and likely early 80's. As an adult it just was too sweet for me although I admired the smell. If that makes any sense. I just wanted to remove the honey from the formulation. and here we are. a not groundbreaking but still unusual in this day and age (when everything "fresh" smells like Ralph Fresh including Adidas Fresh Vibes) fresh knock around or after shower scent. Another plus is that it's light like a body spray and won't stay all day. Not every scent do I want to wear all day. So it's fine to spray something else on 4 hours later if I want.

I found this today for a very very good price, since I'm building my collection I thought why not! I do like the purple Adidas perfume so I thought worst case for this its just an extra in my collection! So I spray it and I was WOWED! It is beautiful! What a clean smelling scent! It would be perfect for after working out, after a bath or shower, end of a long day....the list goes on and on!! Now it really isn't anything spectacular or ground breaking! Sure it's been done time and time again with these fresh floral fruity perfume, but when it comes to finding an inoffensive, fresh and girly scent for an incredibly fantastic price...us ladies can never have too many!!!

I bought this quickly and impulsively from the drug store because I thought it had a nice aquatic smell and the price was right. But when I got it home, I was a little disappointed because, after the application, I can't smell it at all. I don't know if it would be noticeable to other people, but I guess I'm just going to have to douse myself in it. Won't be re-buying because even though I hope other people enjoy the perfume, I would actually like to enjoy it too!

Pure Lightness is a delicious and delicate fragrance which opens with melon and violet and makes you feel uplifted. You could bathe in it but you would never feel overwhelmed by it. It lasts for several hours and it stays gentle all along. After a couple of hours it develops a light round plasticky note, like baby dolls from the 80's. It is plasticky in a positive way, mind you. It was a blind buy, but very happy I discovered this fragrance. It is quite original.

This could easily be a long lost flanker of the DKNY Be Delicious apples. The melon is the strongest note to me though, and it's a very sporty scent in the same vein of DKNY. This opens with a strong cantaloupe scent mixed with a little bit of lily-of-the-valley. Personally, I'm not a fan of the melon smell, but I have to admit it's done very natural and therefore well.

One of my favorite affordable perfumes. It really smells pure and clean without any sweetness. Magnolia, melon and musk are the ones that appear on my skin. I have tried other Adidas perfumes but only this works nicely on my skin and none could say it's cheap. As far as I love Cool Water and all aquatics, this is staple in my collection.

Definitely a floral aquatic. And it's definitely not Guerlain or Fragonard, but who cares? It's bloody Addidas! This collection is dirt cheap and intended to be worn after playing a sport that makes one sweat... and that's good enough for me. As far as I'm concerned, people can keep their octogenarian aldehydic swamps to themselves.

I can't count how many bottles I have used up of this in my life. It's true to it's name. I have tried much expensive scents, but none was so mine. No sharp citrus, no soapy notes. It's soft, pure and light floral scent with clean musk. If clouds would have a scent, that's it. I love it in summer with casual dresses or jeans.

I like it. It's fresh, crisp, clean, and light. It's affordable, not overpowering. It doesn't nauseate me. I don't smell any powder with it. It's overall just fresh. This scent is like the crystal clear light blue waters of a secluded, calm, luxurious beach. It's not my signature scent, but I would wear it occasionally.

A fab cheapie! For the price I really don't think you can beat it. Fresh, slightly sweet, extremely pleasant and so versatile. Lasts a good time too. Can't recall how many times I have repurchased it in the last 10 years. Will always have a place in my collection especially since it is such an easy wear <3

This smells divine but unfortunately I used a 50ml bottle in 2 weeks because I had to use so much to get the effect I wanted. Can't complain for £5 though! It's really fresh, appley (?)sour and lovely. In the end, I bought Cool Water which is along the same vein but better quality

For me it very similar to dkny "green apples":) It's not dupe of "delicious " but remind it at energy and fruity -juicy - bright smell . Good at start not so much at dry down -for my opinion . but this one so affordable so definitely will recommend to try once.

i would classify it as a floral aquatic, or at least that's how it comes out on me.. very similar to Mexx Pure Life, and a lovely choice for the summer months. for greater lasting power i tend to layer the eau de toilette with the body mist

I blind bought this online and im disappointed as there used to be a deo spray from adidas i around 15 years ago with the same name and similar bottle I loved, i hoped it was the same but at least it wan not an expensive mistake:)
