Aegea Blossom

With a spritz of Aegea Blossom, I feel like a true Greek princess who travels to so many places like the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and New Zealand. This is the most unique from the line that I have ever tried. It definitely has the verbena and verbena is one of my very favorite notes — which is featured well in Aegea Blossom. And, it has clean laundry white linen vibes all over it. For all of you who love clean musk and verbena and love to travel, you would enjoy and love Aegea Blossom.

WOW! I know others have not been reviewing this well, but I get something completely different than they are reporting. This one is a must buy for me. It is very interesting and bright without being too much. I get a soft musk with a bright pop of fresh orange peel. Then the jasmine and orange flower dances around delighting my nose with white florals and another pop of citrus. Well done Aerin!

It’s nice. Fresh and clean and feels like "sunrise at the beach" to me. I had to give this one a couple of tries, as I was not impressed at first...but I kept sniffing my wrist and found myself craving it all day long! I can smell the sandalwood and citrus and florals and it's really a beautiful scent! I picked up a rollerball...can't justify the high price for a full bottle of this though.

A bright and clean and lemony-fresh beauty. If ever a fragrance evoked thoughts of sunshine, this is it. Being a diehard night person myself it's never going to be a staple for me but I still reach for it from time to time when I want something crisp and clean and bright. With all of that citrus it has a nice blend of tartness and sweetness. A lovely scent for chasing the clouds away.

Pretty; soft, well rounded, nothing sharp or overly sweet, daytime scent. It reminds me of the beach- musky warmed skin, mixed with a salty ocean breeze and all the orange blossoms and Neroli growing wild (South Africa)... it’s a content happiness. Really mellow, easy to wear. Spring/summer, daytime.

This is my absolute favorite summer scent! It’s a pretty, clean, citrusy white floral and it just reminds me of being in the sunshine by the pool. Slight sunscreen type vibe, in the best way. It lasts a while on my skin, but most Aerin fragrances do.

Besides Tangier Vanille, I’ve essentially loved every Aerin perfume I’ve smelled (which, honestly, is not that many - I definitely need to get my nose on more). While I think Aegea Blossom is a stunningly beautiful scent, she unfortunately does not work well with my skin’s chemistry. AB is yet another white floral-citrus combination but unexpectedly, this doesn’t smell like anything I’ve smelled before. It definitely has a uniqueness to it, which I think comes from the verbena note. It smells luxurious, expensive, and chic. I get all the white florals done in the most fresh and refined way, as well as all the citruses from the opening to about 2 hours into wear. Unfortunately, the dry down is where it gets bad for me, and where the musk suddenly overpowers all the other notes in this composition. And unfortunately, it’s not a nice, clean, fresh musk - it’s a dirty, animalic musk that resembles sweat and stale laundry on my skin. The sandalwood doesn’t help to make the musk any better either. This isn’t the first fragrance where I’ve actually had an issue with a prominent musk note going way dirty on my skin. The exact same thing happens to me whenever I would wear Chloe EDP - beautiful floral feminine opening and midway, and then a dirty and obnoxiously musky + woody drydown. I had to sell my Chloe because if that. I think the musk in these particular compositions just don’t work with my skin and it makes me sad considering how much I actually liked each of these scents overall. The performance on this is better than what I’ve experienced with other Aerin perfumes. The silage is moderate on my skin and the longevity is great. I’ve put it on a few times before bed and could still smell it on my skin the next morning. It’s a great scent for the spring warmth and summer heat, and perfect for some one looking to smell clean and pricey. I don’t see this offending anyone around you either and can be worn for many occasions. I’m planning on selling my bottle or giving it away. It’s a shame AB doesn’t work with my skin but if you get a chance to smell it or test it, definitely give it a try. It is a very beautiful and unique fragrance.

This was not really what I expected, considering the ingredients listed. I find it quite unusual, but I am not disappointed. I don't get much citrus to start, just a slight orangey smell. As it warms, it becomes like linden blossom to me (not listed in the ingredients), then subtle orange blossom. I don't think this could be offensive to anyone, it's so soft and light, and beautifully clean smelling. Ideal to apply (along with the matching body lotion) after a shower. Not too sweet, not at all bitter, and nothing spicy or cloying about it. The musk is not overdone to me, just a trace as the fragrance becomes a warm and snuggly skin scent after an hour or two, somewhat addictive. If anything, I get more sandalwood than musk in the drydown. It's like a mix of Jo Malone French Lime Blossom and a hint of Orange Blossom - but Aegea Blossom is better, more natural and wearable. I do find it very overpriced however, considering it's subtlety, so probably won't purchase again.

Not at all what I was expecting looking at the notes and other reviews. This is a musk heavy floral with a hint of verbena. Not at all cirtus heavy or even flowers heavy (its the cotton wool like round musk base that dominates). Initially I thought this was a pass and a slight disappointment as I am usually quite a fan of the crisper Aerins but having been with this a little longer I have started to appreciate its tiny white flowers peeking through cotton pyjamas type scent more. The temperatures here in the UK have dropped a little too much for this one so will be reinvestigating this when the summer returns - think a nice warm summers day will bring out the best of this one. It is one that actually works better on clothes, I almost didn’t recognise it when I smelled the top I had been wearing the day before. If you want a poor mans version of this, not exactly the same but a very similar feel, the Aldi Poppy & Barley will give you a good idea.

Smelled this at my local dept store and sprayed it on skin and paper. On paper it stayed quite linear and neroli and verbena heavy. On my skin it went from neroli to verbena (which I could smell before looking at notes) then jasmine and sandalwood and musk. The drydown of this reminds me of a modern Pure Poison. I need to test this more but this is fantastic for an 80 something degree day, lasts decently and moderate projection (I've noticed most Aerin perfumes are airy as other reviewers have noted). To me this is more clean than soapy ; I do not like laundry or soap type scents but this is worth a try. More unique than a typical freshie. Edit 11/2023: After contacting Aerin, I have verification that this has been discontinued. It is available on Selfridges and some Sephoras (not US). Get it while you can!

This is a pretty and effortless musky neroli with touches of lemon. I wish the lemon verbena note was stronger. If that had been the case it would have made this perfume a bit more special. This really reminds me of Glow by JLO. A perfume I owned years ago used and never replaced. I've been exploring Aerin perfumes as of late. While I like this travel spray and will wear it this summer my favorite neroli still continues to be Abel golden neroli. This one is a typical musky neroli. I will say this, neroli can for me be screechy but Aegea Blossom is very smooth, clean and classy smelling.

This smells like a lemony scented doll from my youth, lemon meringue from strawberry shortcake maybe? Or maybe a lemony lip smacker concoction. Something smells familiar about it though. It’s not bad, it’s light, refreshing and slightly herbal on my skin (the verbena stands out). Like walking through an herb garden next to a citrus orchard. I don’t know if it’s full bottle worthy but it’s a spring/summer scent. I don’t get much of the floral notes at all.

This is an elegant scent. Very pretty, very personal and extremely well suited to spring. This is not a statement perfume but rather a beautiful intimate fragrance. Does it last long? No, but you smell wonderful while it lasts. I enjoy Aerin creations - this is probably the lightest I have experienced from their range. I would have to think carefully before I repurchased but in the meantime, I will certainly enjoy this pretty juice.

I like this fragrance but it's not my favorite Aerin scent. It is a very bright, sharp lemony scent with hints of floral notes. I would not consider it a floral-dominant fragrance, actually. To me, the cities comes through most. It's a bit heady for me. I like the Irate Jasmine and the Hibiscus Palm more than this one, but this is nice for a change of pace.

Smells chic, expensive, effortless. I really like the opening which has a hefty amounts of citrus and verbena. A little green and has a spa-like feel. This does become significantly more powdery in the dry down. Are you a guest at an afternoon wedding in a garden, or are you having tea on a veranda overlooking the water? This reminds me of that.

The opening is so beautiful. Like a super fresh clean jasmine note with musk... like if blue jeans were jasmine jeans - it has a kind of fresh denim note. I love it <3 UPDATE several hours later the drydown really amps up the musk.. so much that it drowns out all the freshness and jasmine ;( it becomes suffocating

I adore fresh clean and soapy type of scents. BY looking at notes, I should have loved this one. It just hit me like a ton of bricks on first spray with a screechy perfumey floral scent. It does eventually dry down to something much better but even in dry down the sandlewood I think is too strong. It overpowers the fresh meaning of this one. If it were not for the sandlewood constant in dry down, it would be perfect. Selling my bottle on ebay. I need my flat surface space for bottles that I love the scent, not those that are just "ok." Everything else I have by this brand is a winner, so this was disappointing. I LOVE the wild bluebell.

This is a very nice, balanced citrus scent with a unique floral note that is both clean and not too sweet. It also has better projection than several of the other Aerin fragrances that I've tried. I wouldn't go so far as to call this "soapy." But I would say it is very fresh and clean smelling - a clean that lasts through the dry down unlike other fragrances. So far, this is my favorite Aerin.

This was a blind buy based on ingredients. Definitely not a fresh "clean" but a more heady one. Reminds a very heavy shampoo scent. I also found it very flat. I don't think I won't be able to use this one.

This is far too zesty for me. It smells fresh and clean, but it is too intense. Someone said it’s a mom scent and I totally agree. When I first smelled this, I thought of a mom/wife going through a mild midlife crisis. She is starting to feel old because the kids are getting bigger, have just left the house, or made her a first time grandmother. It smells like a women trying to overcompensate for lost youth. It just smells too bright like it’s masking something. It’s so distracting. It’s super citrusy. It’s also effervescent like club soda. I think there is just too much verbena in it. Imagine a modern day version of the queen from Snow White. For the first time ever her mirror (her self conscious) tells her that she is no longer the fairest in the land. She notices her teeth aren’t as white, her hair has lost volume, there is a wrinkle in her forehead and even though she wears a size 4 she is not toned. Before the mirror reveals that it is Snow White who is her competition (she hasn’t realized yet why she feels this way), she try’s to give herself a makeover. This makeover consist of hairstyles and makeup that look like a Raquel Welsh wig catalog or Jane Fonda before she accepted the grays. Also, she over tans and buys lots of anti-aging potions without ever consulting a dermatologist. Mind you, she had never lost her beauty to begin with. She just for some reason began equating beauty with youth and they are not equal. This fragrance gives an illusion of vibrancy and radiance. From a distance, I think it accomplishes it’s job. Up close it almost smells toxic and chemical. It’s not real happiness and sunshine.
