Fleur de Peony

I think it’s very pretty. It’s not complex but simply lovely. Sometimes a perfume that is too complex has a note that throws me off or is offputting, ruining the entire sensory experience. This one has no note that repels me. I like it a lot. If people find this too linear, it works as a great layering option. Update: 5/19/2023. AL recommends spritzing this and its Mediterranean Honeysuckle. I tried it, and it is lovely. If you spray 2 MH and 1 Peony, the fruity sweetness becomes less prominent. Update: 06/20/2023. The more I use this, the more I like it. And I am not young, far from it, closing into senior citizenhood. I grew up wearing original EL Beautiful and Dior Poison. I like Shalimar and Dior Addict. But this peony is so pretty, feminine, and so so luscious. Definitely nothing like Juicy Couture. Aerin’s is more refined and luxe.

This is one of my new favorite scents. I'm a sucker for peonies but I find that when most peony fragrances dry down on me it becomes a very one note fragrance. When I first smelled this I immediately thought of Versace's Bright Crystal but a less fruitier, sweeter version...which I prefer. Bright Crystal, like I mentioned earlier, dries down on me to a singular clean flower note without much of a story. Fleur de Peony, however, is a powdery, fresh rollercoaster that transports me to a park picnic where I'm surrounded by peonies and jasmine while drinking a glass of lychee lemonade. I do think it's a little overpriced... $135 for 1.7 oz but it's limited edition and it's absolutely delicious smelling. I can't rave about this perfume enough.

Exquisite blind buy. Simply luscious! Nothing offensive. Well balanced, slightly fruited floral. Also, the body creme is superb. Have purchased 3 tubes of body creme prior to committing to bottle of fragrance. Currently, layering both for springtime, and very happy with this scent!!! Suitable for daytime, office or closed setting environment, and even to dinner in a restaurant. Aerin body cremes are the best!!! Wish she would reformulate Tuberose Gardenia. Really miss that one in the creme.

Fleur de Peony is one of my favorite fragrances. It's a complete peony-musky scent and it has have been the eponym for this fragrance. What I love was a more complementary peony-musk combination in which I smell some peonies with musk, sandalwood, ambroxan, and cyclamen and it last long at all. I love Fleur de Peony so much!

Pretty, likable, feminine, floral fragrance. I'm trying to find a photorealistic peony smell, and this perfume is the front runner. I can't smell the musk, which is what I was worried about. The longevity is not great, but this seems to be the theme of the Aerin perfume line.
