Tuberose Gardenia

This smells almost exactly the same to me as Estée Lauder's original Tuberose Gardenia in their Private Collection line. It is still a heady gardenia and tuberose scent, but it isn't as strong or as long lasting as the original Tuberose Gardenia fragrance, sadly. Aerin Lauder's Tuberose Gardenia lasts about 5 hours on me and it has medium sillage on me as well. The cost is higher too, so I don't really think that this is as good a deal as the old fragrance and it feels like a greedy move on Estée Lauder's part. I'd still probably buy it again though and I will always love this fragrance. The lily, the jasmine and the lilac are also very prominent in the notes of this perfume and it is like being in a lush garden wearing this fragrance. Aerin Lauder's Tuberose Gardenia is a beautiful and feminine fragrance for a classy lady and it would be perfect to wear during and summer days. I give this a 9.5/10.

To me, this is exactly the same as EL’s PC TG, which I have been wearing several times the past week. I sprayed Aerin’s today, and it reads the same. Happy because I have been running out of EL’s. I also know that, however, every single batch even for the same perfume will be different because of the ingredients, where they were sourced, what the weather was like, etc. I am glad TG is not discontinued only to be replaced with an inferior product. Update: 08/02/2025 TG is so gorgeous. I have always thought carnation adds something extra without overpowering the rest of the composition.

I have a full sample of it. Very photorealistic and lightweight. It's almost identical to my full size Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia but that one is a tad more cloying, has stronger sillage and lasts longer. And the notes listed here are all wrong. On the site it's just Tuberose, Gardenia and Vanilla but I don't get Vanilla at all. This is lush and green not powdered or sweetened. It's perfect and pure without burning alcohol sifting through. Would definitely buy.

From the new description of this on the Estée Lauder website it appears to be a repackaging of the original Estée Lauder Tuberose Gardenia fragrance that Aerin Lauder worked on, now rebadged under Aerin Lauder’s current label. Hopefully there’s no change to the delicious juice inside - ELTG is/was an absolute classic, the most photorealistic gardenia scent I’ve ever found in my endless hunt for the perfect gardenia scent.

I have always hated strong Gardenia fragrances So old lady'ish!..is what I used to think. Maybe its because Im older, I don't know but I smelled this one and fell in love ! Its a beautiful Gardenia &Tuberose scent, so gorgeous for summer. I layred this with Hibiscus palm and it just works beautifully!
