Wisteria

This is very pretty. It reminds me of both Lilac Path and Goutal Paris Chat Perche but they had a baby. I own both in FB and they are gorgeous for true floral lovers. Same with Aerin Wisteria. Wisteria is a true floral in the old fashioned sense which is so refreshing in today's market. I smell wisteria, lilac, sweet peas, jasmine, honeysuckle and daffodils (I don't get ylang it reads like daffodils to my nose here) with wet green grass. There is no powderiness here just flowers and wet green grass. If you love floral perfume without powdery notes that are green, and fresh spicy you will really like Aerin Wisteria. It is extremely daring for them to create such a release in these overcautious "safe" times. I applaud Aerin Lauder for that. There is no vanilla, no fruits, nothing "sweet" nothing "laundry clean" just a beautiful never ending blooming spring that can be with you in the dark of winter or anytime you wish.

Oh wow this is gorgeous. So, just as Lilac Path smells like the real deal—like lilac blooms in May—this smells like wisteria. Beautiful floral fragrance. The bottle is super pretty, especially with the ribbon. Update: 07/21/2025 I am wearing this again, and it’s so beautiful. I love Lilac Path, but I like this more than Lilac Path. I think the added honeysuckle makes it so so pretty.

I love her! She's floral and powdery but also a little sweet--I can't recall how wisteria smells, but to me this smells a lot like honeysuckle and lilac. Not sure if I'd pay for a full bottle though considering how expensive it is.

The first time I ever smelled wisteria in bloom was while visiting my friend in North Carolina. She had them growing all over a pergola outside her home situated over a patio. Sitting under those blooms I got to know that scent well. The only way I can describe the smell of wisteria blooms is to associate and compare it to other floral notes I know. To me it smelled like a lightly spicy and indolic sweet tuberose with lilac undertones, the two notes merged together creating a heady new accord. This smells somewhat like that, though much cleaner, lighter and greener, as if the leaves were added to this fragrance too. Accompanied by the other floral notes it is more like the scent of a garden in bloom rather than the soliflore you would think by that name. There is only one fragrance I ever smelled that came close to a wisteria soliflore and that is Alyssa Ashley's French Garden Flowers Wisteria, unfortunately not in the database here. This smells a lot like that but is more watery, green, and not as spicy sweet, smelling more like walking through a garden and smelling the diffused scent of blooms on a breeze rather than up close, smelling the actual flowers. It's similar in style to other watery green floral fragrances like Aerin's Lilac Path, En Passant. and Lys Mediterranee. I actually like this type of fragrance, but it has to be a somewhat decent performer. Unfortunately, this isn't and I don't love it enough where even with that drawback, I'd be willing to buy a bottle or replace this travel sprayer when it runs out.
