whoa, this is so interesting and unique, so many memories hitting at once with this one childhood memories of using my family's old yellow HP desktop pc, that specific smell coming off the back from the fans, then I get CRT hot air from the back, then something that takes me back to walking from the pool back to my room in a resort from the floral notes, then walking through malls as a teenager, hot iron, and then CDs, which really caught me off guard because from the reviews and notes I really doubted it, but it genuinely smells like a freshly sealed CD case, and over time, it turns into a very clean soapy scent that reminds me a bit of The Ghost In The Shell by ELdO with the android/cyborg vibes from it, now I'm already thinking of possible layering combinations, it has a lot of potential I do a lot of analog VJing and artistic work, and I've been looking for fragrances that could bring cohesion between what I do visually and my scent bubble, and this one is really up there, super avant-garde and futuristic but, at the same time, retro, vintage, and Y2K all at once smelling this also makes me really hyped to eventually get my hands on Cero from Agar Olfactory, after reaching out to them in DMs, they're planning to bring their lineup to EU in 2027, from the notes and reviews, Cero is plastickier though, Warm Bulb by Clue Perfumery is also on my radar but hard to find here, so Ultrae is a great alternative for EU, and it's very fairly priced too

Do yourself a favor and get your nose on this artistic beauty. It starts off a touch sharp. Just let it dry and then you get the back of the computer air from the 90’s. That Compaq Presario plastic fan air lol. From there we start to get into Tower Records Virgin Atlantic brand new CD release. Like your excited unwrapping the Plastic and you take that first crack into the CD case and get that whiff while you struggle to pluck the CD out while also reading the credits and lyrics in the fold out cover inside. That’s the smell. I get steam now as well about 25 mins in but not the steam that’s in Baruti Hot cotton. This one is more the plastic bag that covers your dry cleaning. It’s a faint rose smell as well in there. This is an amazing scent and I’m so glad I blind bought it. Too beautiful and if you find yourself wondering if this is wearable, IT IS. I’m currently wearing it in the winter and it’s amazing.

A very interesting fragrance. Initially (the first 2-3 hours), you can smell a very distinct scent of an iron—heated iron and steam. The fragrance itself is very warm (at least on my skin). There is something very intriguing about it that makes you want to keep smelling it. It is strongly metallic, without any other significantly dominant notes. However, over time (around the 4-hour mark on the skin), the scent transforms into a strongly clean, soapy aroma, which, in my opinion, still aligns with the initial iron-like impression. I would rate its longevity as very good, though the projection is somewhat weaker. Nevertheless, this is an incredibly unique fragrance, and I haven't encountered anything quite like it before.

Currently this is my favourite unisex fragrance, to me this smell is incredibly nostalgic. The smell reminds of me of a really polished nail salong, faint smell of aldehydes and pure chemicals, alongside hot acrylic and metallic notes. Its very pure and clean, but it doesnt feel soapy or powdery at all. Definitely wouldnt say this is for everyone, but i wear it daily as a man and have gotten compliments wearing it..

Wow, blind bought this based on a recommendation and it’s amazing! It literally smells like a hot iron or a shirt being ironed. It’s not abstract, it is 100% photorealistic. You can also compare it to a CD in a plastic sleeve. Very cool artistic work! Well done!

An anti-perfume... The smell of stepping into conrad.com, an electronic market, reminds me of what a tube tv smelled like, after switching it on and off a few times. Unpacking a new smartphone or tablet... Pretty strange - but I really like it.

Masterpiece. Both futuristic and retro, analog and digital, new and old, smells like the 2000s for me. It has that dopamine rush effect from contextualising it with the smell of new electronics, unpacking stuff.

A scent for the 80-90s kids. Smells like inserting a brand new CD-ROM in a dusty windows 95 computer or turning off an overheated GameCube. Faint smell but so comforting and highly wearable despite the concept.

it's a very nostalgic scent, smells exactly like the insides of a newly bought computer, static and a clean factory. definelty not a blind buy, get some samples first

As other wrote, smells like clothes just after ironing. Definitely unique scent 😉

Didn't come across very metallic one, was more of a decent projecting clean soapy aldehyde with some like rose floral notes. Up close not really noticeable except the warm fan exhaust aspect people talk about.

It was my full bottle blind buy to my collection, and I don't regret. A unique scent of hot iron, CDs, dusty old computers and maybe backrooms 😁 not so wearable, but maybe mixing with citrus would help. 9/10

The scent of iron, the smell of a computer club - I have a photo from a cyberpunk setting or a memory from my childhood, when I spent time at a computer club. This is a unique fragrance, and I think many people would enjoy it. It's not my area of expertise, but it's definitely a very interesting job.

Ultrae is another transparent creation from Aether house with great versatility. It's slightly stronger than Xtraem with moderate to weak performance overall and zero projection. All I get is a combo of aldehydes, metallic notes and a faint sub-sweet thing, must be the amber accord. Moreover there's an ultimate-super synthetic note in it which caracterize the whole blend, I can't name it, but it feels like powdery melted plastic. Fortunately it's not a strong scent otherwise it would be quite repulssive. It is bearable but it doesn't smell good imo.

One of my least favorite scents from the Aether line

This one was mostly aldehydes and not much else. I detected C9 and possibly C13 (I could be wrong with numbers, I tried a whole heap of aromachemicals out about 6 or 7 years ago and forget names), it's the one that smells like waxed cardboard boxes (to me, anyway)... The metal accord is there, but it's more of a metal shavings, not a rusty metal, if that makes any sense. It's restrained and doesn't feature all that much, but it's still there. A bit of a mood scent with not enough direction. It could've done with a resin or a heavy spice, I would think. Anyway, nice enough, a little thin, is all...

After few minutes i can smell tv, new computer, very Hot ironing, or just brand new opened smartphone. But after around 3 hours, it radiates like i was just went from shower. Very soapy, but good smelling. Very nice, comfy and molecular. If it has better performance, i would give this more but now 7/10
