Bergamot Roots

I liked this very much when I tested it; mild citruses that are potent throughout the day. This is very much a safe, casual/office-type scent (or even date-night!) for somebody that wants to make an impression from the beginning of the day all the way until evening comes around. Best part are the citruses that stay on skin forever thanks to (I believe) 30% oil concentration and would say this is a perfect 10/10 warmer weather, daytime scent for a man of age 25 an onwards. Maybe if you liked Roja Burlington and think it is too mature this may be the thing you are looking for! I'd even say a safe blind buy if you like citrusy perfumes, but for this price better test first.

#1138 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This reminds me most of The Body Shop's "Kistna." Before it ran out I used that for layering, but by itself it was just a blast of citrus that nobody noticed. You'd get the same effect showering with Moulton Brown's "Orange & Bergamot" shower gel. I felt the same about Armaf's "Odyssey Mega Man." It was okay, but I never wore it and gave it away because there was just nothing unique about it, projection was pretty minimal, really made no impression, and drew zero notice. I think there are maybe a hundred better options in citrusy scents, and to be transparent here, I would never spend over $100 on any citrus scent. The only thing I ever use them for is after I shower at the gym. And for that purpose a $20 bottle of Nautica "Voyage" works just fine. But if I did spend over $100, and wanted all the same key components, I would get Xerjoff's "Tempest" (a scent they acquired and retained, God bless 'em, in the Kemi Blending Magic acquisition). You can find that scent for about $125. But you can get a better scent than this, one that retains the keys note of this scent, with Natura's "Homem Especiarias" which you can find for $50 or less.

On card this smells like you sprayed lemon pledge into an ashtray brimming with stinky old cigarette butts.
