Plástica

I would not describe this as a traditional perfume. To me, this feels more like a synthetic material study with a fruity, fizzy edge. It is plasticky, sharp, warm, slightly sweet, and very textural. Definitely not something I would wear completely on its own every time, but as a layering piece? Extremely interesting. The opening is strong and very literal, this is not a scent suitable for the office or a first date; I can't fathom this being on a shelf in a Sephora. It's almost like opening packaging, rubbing together thick plastic wrapping, or smelling a glossy PVC object that has been warmed by your hands. There is a slightly abrasive synthetic edge at first, but it starts to calm down after a few minutes. As it dries down, the raspberry becomes more noticeable. It is not a juicy, realistic raspberry, and is definitely not jammy. It reads more like an artificial red raspberry accord, almost like raspberry candy, raspberry soda, or a faint red syrup note filtered through plastic. The fruit is there, but it is trapped behind the PVC, which honestly makes it more weird.. strangely enough, in a good way. It gives the fragrance a slightly sweet red glow without turning it into a fruity perfume. There is also a subtle carbonated quality to it. I get this fizzy, mineral, soda-water effect that keeps the plastic from feeling completely flat. It feels almost alive, as in the sensation of bubbles inside a plastic bottle. That fizzy accord works really well with the raspberry because it gives the impression of artificial raspberry soda poured into a brand-new plastic cup. Honestly also reminds me of the scent of a flavored sparkling water such as a La Croix. The main texture is still plastic. Very much so plastic. This is not a fragrance where the plastic is just a background nuance. It is the structure of the scent. The raspberry and carbonation soften it, but they do not hide it. It smells like a material, but a scented material. What I like most is that the plastic does not stay cold or sterile on me. It has this warm friction quality, like the smell that comes off plastic when you rub it together and it starts to heat up slightly. That warmth makes it feel more dimensional and less like a flat chemical accord. It is still very synthetic, but there is a strange sweetness and movement underneath it that makes me want to keep smelling it.

well they didn't lie it sure is plastic. smells like pressing your nose to barbie's head and taking a deep whiff of her scalp

I smell more grapefruit or pomelo than raspberry. A bitter, citrusy scent. Still somewhat interesting, but compared to the other scents in the sample set, I'd say this may be the weakest one in terms of execution.

On paper when testing, it smells more like a fruity seltzer water. On my skin, it smells more plastic-y.
