Royal Cherry

A very bright and fizzy cherry scent, I really enjoy this. There's a hint of the syrupy consistency you'd associate with Tom Ford DNA in the background, but overall it's far more airy and uplifting than any other cherry scent I've tried. Unlike other Ahmed Al Maghribi releases I've owned, this smelled fantastic on day 1 and didn't need maturation to evolve.

Another high quality fragrance from ahmed. Very rich cherry/plum. Great performer with above average sillage and longevity. 9.5/10. It is similar to infinity from montale but has a more prominent cherry note. Also no oud or tobacco in this one.

Good to see the rating come up on this. This stuff is insanely good. One of the best cherry fragrances of all time and straight unisex. 10/10 and the performance is unreal.

This should not have a 3.8. Definitely should be 4.5 or higher. Fantastic cherry fragrance.

Definitely a TF lost cherry vibe more mature and with a twist. Cherry smoke has much more incense resins in the base and it's darker and less sweet. Overall smell quality is very good. The sweet plum is prominent more than the cherry which somehow balances out the sourness of the cherry making it less zingy in the air, then a spicy cinnamon and woods follows. I would say it's unisex, however for my style it leans a bit more feminine. Definitely more mature fragrance, elegant and seductive. The plum and cinnamon gives it almost a gourmand feel. Imagine a sweet prune compote with added cinnamon sticks. The bottle has been opened for about 2 weeks and for now the performance is not the best and the projection is moderate. I hope it will improve over time. The sweet woody prune and cinnamon does come across more prominent on the skin and it's smoothened out with the creamy almond. On fabric it smells brighter and somehow more sour cherry. It does leave a nice subtle trail of scent behind when you walk for the first couple of hours then stays close to the body. I personally don't like wearing it as it's not my style, but it smells lovely on my wife. If the performance improves it will be a steal for the price.

Unlike other Ahmed fragrances, this one doesn't have that Middle Eastern vibe. The overall quality of the scent execution also seems better than other Ahmed fragrances that I own. The bottle design is a bit tacky, though quite heavy, so it doesn't feel cheap in hand, only in looks. For me it resembles TF Cherry Smoke. However, there is a twist in that there is not so much smoke but more woodiness. There is also this bitter almond note, not gourmand, that reminds me more of PdM Pegasus. Plum is also there, but it's quite dark. The woods here remind me of tobacco leaf somehow. So I'm not quite sure why the gender rating is unisex-female here, because to me it's one of the rare cherry fragrances that is more suited for men. Overall it is a solid fragrance that does its job well and has crowd-pleasing potential. Could very well be a designer fragrance. The scent itself is bitter - cherry/plum - woody. Blind buy safe for men and less so for women. 4/5

Juicy Maraschino cherry with a thick syrupy boozy plum over bitter almond open that slowly transitions to a sweet creamy rose and jasmine heart, before finally drying down into a cinnamon cedar and vetiver sandalwood base. In the last couple of weeks of development it has really come together. This feels a bit too heavy to be throwing on a TF Lost Cherry dupe deep into an Arizona May, but that's just the sacrifice we make for science.

Imagine the scent of a cherry as proeminent note (main focus), but is mixed with acidic plums in the background. In the dry down, what it becomes is a sort of red wine ; that all that combo creates. Cherry infused within heavy red wine giving it a beast mode (it has nothing to do with the sirupy sweet cherry smell), the smell wasn’t what i expected although unique and beautiful mixture making it unisexe since floral aspect of it counter the possible sweetness, but i’m sure layered with another strong sweet/spiced fragrance it could correct some acidic aspect it has that may become bothering or too heavy. I’m pleasantly satisfied with this purchase, since it was my first fragrance having this much of a sillage and longevity which made me want to explore more of ahmed al maghribi fragrances. It was too heavy for me to use it on summer, maybe for winter would be so much greater

Smells awful. Like a mixture, a bucket of leftover plums with vetiver and sharp cedar, poured over a small sample of lost cherry! It feels like they were trying to imitate dark leather, as in cherry punk, but they made the most intolerable synthetic mess. This smells off. I'm happy I only have 3 mls of it.

I've got nearly all middle eastern cherries in every single way, I've got a lot in the smell alikes, but this one from first spray is beautiful! I think it's the plum and cherry mix maybe. Makes it more cherry without huge pounced almond note that can happen also. The bottle is beautiful. I really like this one.

Fabric test, bit like too-ripe cherry fruit. Rounded, a bit woody, eraser-like. The cherry type is synthetic, ripe, and the vanilla seems like the essence type
