Mouillée

This is Daniel Rene’s first gourmand fragrance. I’m not a fan of gourmands, however this is the fragrance that works very well to my nose. This is white chocolate forward with coconut and vanilla in the background. The bottle is simply beautiful. I can see the comparison of Bianca latte but it’s not a dupe of BL. This fragrance stands on its own. The pine is non existent, cherry and orange is there but very light in the background. I would actually give this fragrance...9 out of 10!

Mouillée is an absolutely beautiful white chocolate fragrance. I love wearing this one on its own and layering with it. I get a hint of the black cherry and to me it’s a photorealistic cookies and cream Hershey bar. There is no caramel/bianco latte dna to this for me. I have gone through 3/4ths of my current bottle and have 2 backups! If you like chocolate fragrances you definitely need to try this take on white chocolate.

Mouille is such comforting and sexy scent!!!! I immediately went over to my husband and asked him. How do you think I smell and his response was mmmmmmm that was enough said 😂 Daniel ONLY creates MASTERPIECES. He puts his heart and mind in everything he does and creates. Mouillée is like white chocolate in fragrance form. It's creamy, smooth, and just a little sweet. Instead of being heavy, it feels soft and airy, almost like a white chocolate mousse.

I love this fragrance. It certainly helps with my White Chocolate addiction. 😜 but for real best chocolate/white chocolate fragrance out there.

This is the only one of his fragrances I just can't get behind. I've loved his work up until this point. To me this smells like artificial sweetened vanilla. Go to GNC and open a can of cookies n cream milkshake whey protein and take a sniff. That's what this smells like to me. Like vanilla and artificial sweetener? I don't know, it's incredibly weird to me. I don't know how it's compared to any of the "smells like" section but it's nothing like BL DNA to me.

The creator of this fragrance was on live directing his followers to leave positive reviews for this fragrance as well as his other fragrances in order to boost the ratings on fragrantica. Unfortunately any reviews left today cannot be taken at face value. Accepting negative reviews and the fact that some people may not like your fragrance is part of being a perfume creator. Soliciting reviews should be against community standards as it inhibits the users ability to find honest, unbiased reviews.

Here we go again, another Bianco Latte DNA. Smells like a sweet but sour milkshake. That lactonic note can either be a delight or a complete disaster.. My clothing smelled of sour milk. Then the very light pine note is strange. Cherry? What cherry?? Yes, there is sweetness of the white chocolate, BUT can't get passed the sour lactonic note. Definitely paid too much.

Yet ANOTHER perfume riding off the hype of the sublime Bianco Latte. This is not a dupe. However, it leans so heavily on the same caramel / milk / vanilla notes that to say it’s not borrowing on the same DNA is absurd. You can sprinkle some misplaced pine, non-existent white chocolate, demand positive reviews and rant about this being “original” all you like DR...

I have come back to write an updated review as I previously commented that this smells very similar DNA to Bianco Latte, Cream Velvet and Eclaire. I don't know if it's because it has sat for 4 months or if my nose has changed but holy smokes is this thing in a league of its own. The white chocolate really comes through and this is a real compliment getter perfume because people will be able to smell it around you. I won't support Daniel Rene with my wallet going forward as he comes across as a problematic bully and drama influencer of the fragrance community. He blocked me for kindly raising the point that everyone's noses are different and it doesn't mean people are trying to be problematic if it smells like Bianco Latte to them but this was a blessing in disguise as I now enjoy a drama-free Fragrance Tok again. I'll correct myself when I'm wrong and can admit that this fragrance is not duping anything else and is an absolutely delicious gourmand. In the meantime, I really hope more people will see the influencer that is a wolf in sheep's clothing but I suppose I'll have to wait in what feels like forever for karma to take the lead.

Is this fragrance beautiful and well blended? Yes. Does it smell like a close relative of the Bianco Latte DNA to my nose? Also yes. This is too close to Khadlaj Cream Velvet imo and I am sad I bought Mouilee as I don't need more of this DNA. On the plus side, Mouilee has a touch of white chocolate that I can subtly pick up on. It also has great projection and longevity. I wish I picked up on more of the nuances as others have stated. Or perhaps, reviewers are too afraid of Daniel Rene's outbursts to leave an authentic review and speak to the similarities of the BL DNA or maybe it really smells different to them? However, if your goal is to save $, just stick to Cream Velvet or even Eclaire as my friends couldn't smell the difference on my arms.

When I first spray this, I get about 70% Eclaire by Lattafa, then when it starts to dry down, I get a mix of the coconut slight ambrette and pine mixing together. I do get a slight white chocolate, but it's not prominent, and I think that's because of the coconut. When it dries down it's only around 50% similar to Eclaire. I had someone else smell this on my skin, they said coconut, vanilla, and musk. I am wondering if my bottle needs to macerate. I don't think this will be a popular opinion, but I prefer Brulant, over Mouillee. I will come back in the next month or two and do another review.

One it’s very odd there’s sooo many comments on the exact same date. It’s not worth the money. It doesn’t smell like white chocolate at all, milk chocolate mostly with coconut shavings. It’s very linear it’s not wow at all. Basic. It’s not giving luxurious, it’s also not giving super cheap. Just mid. 4/10 and I like Jawhari, that’s why I blind bought this one but it’s a no for me. I wish it was white chocolate and creamy. That coconut smells like cheap coconut shavings from a bag.

If you love Gourmand. If you love the white chocolate Hershey cookie and cream bar. Then Mouillee is the perfume for you. I mean, it’s exactly like the white chocolate Hershey cookie and cream bar. She is great by herself or with layering. Price is great and she lasts a very long time on me.

Love Love Love Mouillee!!! Sweet sexy perfectly unisex white chocolate. This scent stands on its own but also layers well. I bought a bottle for my daughter and she loves it just as much as I do.

It's nice enough, but why the hell does it leave my skin all sticky?!!
