Jawhari Daniel Rene

I don’t really follow Daniel on socials or anything so my review isn’t swayed by that. Straight away this fragrance is very different on a tester strip vs on my skin so for the purpose of the review I’m going to be going with what it smells like on me. Opening is quite a nostalgic - masculine leading very 90s citrusy male scent but it’s soft not in your face, this then quickly transforms into something spicy (think Christmas cloves, orange peel and spices) then something magical happens about 20 mins in - the honey note hits it starts getting nutty and the brown sugar kicks in - it’s like a nutty spice cake. Very comforting. It’s not in your face as you’re wearing it, I forget I’ve got it on until someone walks into the room and comments that something smells incredible - the scent trail is very addictive and when I do get a whiff of it when I move it’s utterly gorgeous. Very surprised I like this so much

I just got this perfume, I wish I had bought it sooner. This is similar to Angel but has more oomph than the current formulation of Angel. Just a few sprays of Jawhari is beast mode. I wish this perfume wasn't being discontinued only after being available for a year. I am really impressed with this perfume. I wish Daniel would make another perfume with Aroma Concepts. I know he has other perfumes with other brands. I like the bottle design of Jawhari. I'm just glad I bought and discovered this perfume before it was too late to get it. You have to appreciate these kinds of perfumes in the realm of Angel to appreciate and love Jawhari. I would have loved to see a flanker of this perfume. Daniel has talked about it but said he didn't have the time to do it on a recent live he has done.

I may not care for Daniel Rene, but I love this perfume!!! When you first get it, this does have to sit and mascerate (I did for like a month). A lot of people say it’s masculine leaning and I believe it’s because of the coffee note in it. So what I do to mask that is layer it! I have a body oil from brown sugar babe called creme de la creme which is inspired by Vanilla 28. Then I spray vanilla 28, Jawhari, then Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar (if you can’t afford the Kayali’s try Eshal & Khair Confections by Paris Corner: these are so good and may even br better). On my skin the cotton candy, coffee, brown sugar & the honey stands out more. It’s too bad that this is discontinued. My original bottle is half way gone, but I have 2 backups. 🥰 Great for fall & winter days & or nights.

This is a fragrance that blew me away. Jawhari is lush and sexy! The passion fruit gives it a tropical cocktail vibe that is really intoxicating. While I don’t detect cotton candy or coffee specifically, I can see how they play into the composition with a sweet / bold (almost) earthy juxtaposition. Oh it starts so juicy, I love love love that opening! While there is no patchouli or chocolate, there is something slightly reminiscent of Angel. I will be wearing this all seasons when I want to make a statement, because it certainly does and lingers beautifully on skin and clothes. The quality is there! I am so glad to have this in my collection. She’s not shy, but would Daniel René give us anything shy and demure??

Jawhari is a beautiful fragrance that when layered with other things creates a new and sexy experience every time. I wore it to a party once and as soon as I walked in someone said "well someone smells incredible!" I love it by itself and I love playing with layering combos. It's complex yet playful and sweet. I love Angel so this was an easy buy for me. It is well worth the money but only buy from the source. Don't purchase anywhere but Daniel's tiktok shop or aromaconcepts.com. I feel like a boss b!tch when I wear it. So if you want to feel powerful and sexy and you're daring enough to embrace the fact that you just might own the room you walk into...give it a try.
