B.H.P.C. Classic for Men

This is a much better Cool Water style fragrance with a more green orientation than others in this line or price range. Whereas the Blue by BHPC leans towards the blue end of CW, this takes the more green slightly bitter/sharp end of the spectrum that retains the soapiness without sacrificing woodiness. A very nice fresh spring scent with a musky undertone that projects a fair bit (the musk mainly so beware for those who dislike muskiness). While Cool Water isn't exactly expensive, especially at racstores and discounters, sometimes I want more sharpness such as this offers. And for 12.99 for 2.5 oz and a 1 oz travel, nothing really to complain about. What got me into this line was I happened to pick up Sexy for a couple dollars on a whim in TJ Maxx. I was struck by the familiarity of the profile but couldn't place it but knew I liked it. Later on I realize that it does smell a lot like an EDT version of ADG Profumo. I say an EDT version because its as if (to use a musical term) the low end had been turned way down or as if listening to music through tweeters and midrange speakers so the robustness of the bass is lost even though the sound is all there. This made me take a second look at this line, especially for the money. If I can get profile I enjoy for use when it would be a "waste" for designers or even mid tier (think outside lounging in a hammock) for a few dollars, its worth it to me.

The bottle is trash, but the juice smells awesome. I first smelled it on a coworker, and it came off like a tobacco scent. Asked him what it was because I liked it so much. Straight off my skin, I get something musky, woody, timeless, and masculine. Versatile and easy to wear and appreciate. Can't find this brand's scent called "Blaze" on this site, but that one is incredible and smells better than Spicebomb to me. Both of these are easily worth three or four times what you'll pay for them. It's a shame they appear so cheap. This smells like uncirculated US dollars. Like paper money but concentrated, that same unique woody sweet inky smell. If you like scents like playdough, silly putty, pencil shavings, wet earth, old books, things like that, give this a try it's strange in a good way. As far as wearing it as a fragrance, I would if I didn't notice it smells like money. Feel weird about wearing it now because I don't want to come across as someone that literally smells like money is hidden in my warm nether regions. Also smells similar to Mont Blanc Individual/Creed Original Santal but significantly sweeter despite the disparity in declared notes. (mind I said similar not that they are the same)

For the price, I would say it's very nice. Definitely a simple, strong masculine scent. The woodiness in it gives it a rather dark tone, but its balanced out a bit by the citrus notes. It's rather like a man on steroids at the gym who also has a sense of humor. It's darker and very strong initially, but also has some lightness to it, and is obviously very masculine. A good everyday scent.

When I got my first mini bottle of Dior Jules, the saleswoman sent me a sample of this as a present. I find it really pleasant, modern yet full of classical notes. It's in my collection, but I don't want to use it mainly because it's not available in my country, and I want to save it. I've learned that it was released in 2005, but it smells like a 90's fragrance. Worth buying sometime!

Have it. Not bad really for a bargain fragrance. I kept getting it for christmas. It reminds me very much of Stetson Black, with a musty berry like sweetness. Masculine berries. But it doesn't have those rich mossy woods as Stetson Black. The richest upscale version of this is, Serge Lutens "Chypre Rouge". longevity: pretty ok projection: medium

Really good. Not complex. Just a simple masculine scent. I got it for 7.99 at marshalls and it included an aftershave. First day wearing it a woman I work with asked me what I was wearing. Pretty amazing value. I want to try their other scents now.

Genuinely great performance. The projection and longevity are great and the scent is just okay. With price, performance and scent in mind, I rate this 8/10. If you see it at Ross, there’s no reason to not cop.

The smell is boring af, its like those typical woody fragrances. but for a cheap price, its alright

Like Polo Blue Gold Blend but better

Picked this up for $14.99 at Ross. This is absolutely a steal. At first, it smells very alcoholic and quite strong, but after 15-20 mins it settles to a very pleasant bergamot, musky, spice-like smell. It smells like cumin and cardamon. I'd say it's definitely a very basic, male smell - but that's not much of an issue. Inoffensive, pleasant, nice. Good for all-year round.

Somehow this cheap, unsuspecting bottle is one of the BEST, longest lasting, most unique smelling colognes I've tried. I don't get it. For $14 at ross this is a 10/10. Bottle is cheaply made though, the cap is ugly af.

Honestly, I don't like this is boring and its sillage is trash.

This is a versatile year round cheapie that smells like nothing i own. This is a mildly sweet woody scent, the dry woods coming from the cedar. Smooth not tart or bright citrus bergamot top that lasts throughtout the drydown. The sweetness and fresh woody character reminds me a tad of Sauvage. Smells traditional/basic but very pleasant. this is a very good casual saturday or anytime scent.

This has been a regular in my fragrance rotation for about 4 years. Classic is a very pleasant scent. Notes are bright citrus, cedar, musk, and a touch of powder. Also, I get a tobacco(sweet) note even though it's not listed. The longevity on my skin is 10-12 hours. @Cody JR, Classic smells nothing like Aspen cologne.

This is OK. Smells 98% like Aspen but it is more powdery. A cheap OK scent. I have other bottles that cost a few bucks more that actually get worn. For this price, Get a bottle of Jaguar Green. A real sophisticated and lovely green cologne.
