BHPC is a cheapo, but is not as hideous as was said in a previous review. Just know you get what you pay for.

This is a HORRIBLE scent. I work at Ross stores and people buy this and spray it twice and it just overpowers and burns your nose like nothing else. It smells every bit as cheap a the price. No one should ever, EVER buy this scent or any other Beverly Hills scents for that matter

I don't like it. just smells cheap too bad I got one of these for christmas in one of those scents. The other colognes that came with it are better this one just isn't good

Unique fragrance that utilizes a nice balance of florals and citrus on top and in the heart that makes this a viable alternative for those seeking a fresh, light and affordable fragrance for warm weather days. The marigold here in combination with the geranium and zesty citrus does a great job of making this light and uplifting. Rather soft on the skin even after 3 or 4 sprays, don't believe the negative press here about this being penetrating, it's very soft and airy that shows little of its synthetic side under the dominant florals and citrus and cloves that set in after 10-15 minutes. Shouldn't be compared to Polo's Sport, they have nothing in common as Polo Sport is heavily medicinal and seaweed based with a heavy synthetic soul that hasn't aged gracefully the last twenty years despite a couple reformulations to tone down the seaweed. Ubiquitous in discount houses, can be had for clearance prices between $5-8 with a little bit of patience and your money wouldn't be poorly spent, this is adequate stuff as a warm weather fragrance.. Can easily be classified as a unisex fragrance that would wear rather well on women, especially for casual day use because of its floral essence balanced nicely by the cloves, citrus and light woods here. Is a bit mislabeled here as an aromatic spicy, this one on my skin is almost pure floral with a small dose of citrus and spice with a light, soft woodsy dry down. Sillage is soft and longevity decent at 4-5 hours on average. Well balanced, serviceable cheapie that deserves a sniff despite all the preconceived notions because of Beverly Hills Polo Club's reputation as a simple Ralph Lauren imitator of lesser quality.

Okay. Not great. Not vile either ... although you can imagine someone that drank too much trying to bathe in this and cover the alcohol scent that is coming from the pores. It is that kind of 90s smell that yes, favors Polo Sport in some ways. As someone else here said, remember that you get what you pay for. If you happen to come across a bottle, give it a whiff. If you like it: use it SPARINGLY for a quick dash here or there and you won't be disappointed. I have smelled much worse for much more money, trust and believe. To be clear: I can't say I would buy this again. Still, I had to post something in its defense. This juice is nowhere near as wretched as some would have you think. It is worth at least a sample to make up your own mind.
