B.H.P.C. Sexy for Him

For $20 - $25 per 3.4 oz., this stuff is great, and I get compliments all the time! First off, I don't get ANY alcohol at first ... NONE! Secondly, up top I detect lemon balm for the first five to ten minutes, which is NOT an option in the "Fragrance Notes" area above. Why do I have to choose from only three notes when there is so much more here? Two of them, I don't get at all! There is no floral, and "oriental" is an over-reaching, all-inclusive word. The illogical implications to that question are vast! So, anyway, after the lemony smell dissipates, I DO smell woody notes (one of the options above), but to be much more specific, it's like a mixture of eucalyptus and cedar. There is earthiness, but it's a light, less dirty, earthiness, closer to moss. The dry-down is where Sexy shines most. The woody scent remains, but in walks honey and patchouli. The aroma is heavenly! And performance isn't bad either at about 5 - 7 hours. If you've read some of the other reviews, you will see that, for many people, BHPC Sexy smells much more expensive that it is. It's not Creed, no, but it IS $330 cheaper!

This fragrance reminds me of a sweeter, less smokey ADG Profumo. It starts off smelling almost identical to ADG profumo (and stays this way on clothing) but within a few hours it dries down on skin to a pleasantly sweet, vanillac and almost fruity candy like vibe. It doesn't seem to jump off the skin (I'm currently testing in cooler weather) at this point but i actually like this facet of the fragrance the most. i imagine that this will shine in warmer weather. There's definitely a lot more going on notewise than what fragrantica is saying. Overall great cheapie.

I’m making this comment in December of 2025. This is highly reminiscent of Aqua Di Gio Profumo ELIXIR. Gentlemen, someone at Beverly Hills Polo knows the future, because this fragrance was originally released YEARS before ADG Elixir. This is truly a hidden gem for the cold seasons, and I’m starting to regret sharing this secret due to my passive aggressive fragrance gatekeeper tendencies. I’ll be layering this with a secret fragrance so none of you guys smell like me. Merry Christmas Gentlemen. 🫡

This is not the same company that makes the RL POLO, but let me tell you.A friend bought this for me some years ago , I normally wears this around the house, but 1 day I wore it to work, and this female told me, who are you trying to get?I thought the Black RL Polo was this but it’s not. This is a Sweet Spicy Sexy fragrance for a Netflix and Chill believe me.

I'ts an ok cologne..... You just have to know when, where and how to apply this (on the stronger side)juice. Price at the Ross was $16.00 buck's. Great Price.... Very strong in the alcohol area at first, but the dry down is sweet and pleasant if you spray correctly. This is my first review on Fragrantica.com. Love This Site... The most helpful site EVER!!!

My fiance has this and it's really nice. It doesn't project much, but it always seems to last a long time. It's a pleasant scent that I can't see anyone finding offensive. It's similar to Polo Black, but more subdued. The woody notes are definitely more prominent than anything else. For the price, this is GREAT!

a very good scent for the price .. pretty long lasting though . i also have no. 9 and no. 2 by them . they are good too. no. 9 smells like silver mountain water or al rehab silver

I received this as a gift. It looked cheap, but it smelled sooo good; spicy flowers, very refreshing. Good value for money.

This is basically a generic, dirty Versace Pour Homme. It also reminds me of Tom Ford Black Orchid.

this isn't that bad. Not the best Polo cologne ever but it's definitely better than double black

I got it for $12 at a TJ Maxx and honestly for the price it isn’t bad but it’s definitely the bottom 75% of fragrances I have in my collection. Personally the spice is too much and I’d rather take something like spice bomb that’s a little warmer or even Montale Intense Pepper due to it’s more complex notes and scent

Smells like a more softer Drakkar Noir. ( Drakkar Intense?) . The initial smell is little off putting but it drys down to something reasonable. Would not recommend if you prefer sweeter scents, this is spicy and musky.

Polo sexy is overwhelming and close to downright offensive if worn in hot and humid conditions. Polo sexy is not meant for indoor use. Think of a synthetic acqua di gio with a tar/rubber note that won't get off your skin, even after a shower. Sprayer is alright. I picked it up in a gift set with a deo, I'm keeping the deo but polo sexy is a pass for me.

I wish I could vote on the notes because the pyramid is completely wrong. Their website states: Cashmere woods Tobbaco flower Italian Bergamont Damask plum It smells like spices - I somehow smell licorice and pepper. Very spicy, warm, a little sweet. Nice fragrance, good quality for the price. I don't think this is signature scent worthy, or something I'd daily, but a good at home scent. Sillage is average, it lasts long, and smells alright. 5/10.

Received this as a gift. At first I thought I didn't like it. At all. Then ... it started to grow on me when I used it while away on a trip for a few days. I grew to appreciate its (synthetic) oriental vibe with the Coca-Cola and tar essence. This stuff has a flair all its own and lasts for a while. A bit got on my brush - indirectly - that I use for my beard, and weeks later I still smell it on the brush. I am truly torn as to whether it smells like a good cheapie or a good niche. It is surely not a mall fragrance, at least to my nose. Go easy on the sprayer and try before you buy. Worth keeping on the radar for its uniqueness alone. Oh, and the 1.7 oz bottle has nice texture and weight to it.

What is this trying to copy? It's not Polo Black, and if it is then it totally fails... BECAUSE THIS SMELLS SO MUCH BETTER! I seriously don't understand this dilemma; this ten dollar EDT whoops every second-tier designer fragrance ever released. Spicy, woody, warm, alluring, and (best of all) NOT sweet! I feel that sweet is the safe route when it comes to men's Winter fragrances but Polo Sexy takes a different approach. Now I just have to find out what this is trying to be and if I can't find it, I'm going to have to buy this!

Sexy??? Only if your idea of sexy is hot tar being applied to the roof next door, or a chemical spill that closes six lanes of freeway for several hours. This stuff ought to come with a warning from the Surgeon General --- it truly is that bad!
