Candy Crush Sweet!

The dominant note I'm getting here is freesia, or the aroma chemicals that are used to create this effect. It's not sweet, and I get no vanilla. The other thing that might be contributing something might be an apple note, but everything is subsumed under the sharp freesia (perhaps there's a touch of rose too). This is an hour after application. I'll update if there is any change. UPDATE: Over time, the freesia type quality did subside, but kept going for hours. There was a bit of a vanillic base, but it's light. This belongs to a relative, who let me try it, but I wouldn't think to buy it for myself. If I wanted that freesia type quality I'd rather go with Spirit for Women by Banderas, which features some incense to counterbalance things. And I've got plenty of vanilla-dominant scents, so I'd only add another if I really liked it. This isn't terrible but I don't find it interesting either.

Candy Crush is a very pretty fruity floral scent. The price is very affordable (even cheap) so you feel like it's a steal because it's such a good scent. It opens with an apple scent, just a green apple scent. It's sweet and fruity from the beginning. The floral notes contain orange blossom and rose. I can smell both flowers so they're in perfect unison with each other. The vanilla at the base is huge and it becomes a very big vanilla fragrance at the end. It's a little powdery too. Sweet just like the name of this fragrance. The candy part is more like an apple candy a bit like a PEZ candy but I really like that.

I had Serendipity many years ago. When the sales lady asked me to test this yesterday, I thought that that's what this smells like. Since Serendipity has been dicontinued, I was quite happy to walk away with a bottle of Candy Crush :)
