Disclaimer: I think perfumes are very personal and reacts differently to a person's body chemistry My Review: I bought this while leaving Dubai at the airport - drawn to the bottle and had a whiff and I'm like.. okay let's give this a try..and now I'm on my 3rd bottle! This is one of my must have's in my collection. I absolutely love it and don't care about the reviews. It makes me smell expensive and I love the mix of white floral and fruity tones and after some time it still leaves me smelling expensive! One of the main reasons I have now gravitated towards Arabic perfumes, its affordable yet luxurious and have a scent which absolutely defines my personality very well. Although the silage isn't too long (5 hours on me) I don't mind bringing it in my car or bag for a fresh spritz and oh my god it smells so good on my hair too. Love, Love LOVE IT! My favourite scents of all time and will always have this in my collection. Am exploring other Aurum collections too and will give my review! Thank you Ajmal, now I know why your brand is popular in Dubai.

Magnificent creation, starting from the bottle design to the fragrance itself, one of my most favourite. I'm already half way through my second bottle and I will be happy to go back to Emirates just for the sake of buying another one. Thankfully, I can't smell raspberry here at all (I hate raspberry), instead it's mainly white flowers, amber, spices and musk. I don't understand the comparison to Lady Million. I think the only similarity is the colour of the bottle, because Lady Million is just way too synthetic and unsophisticated, while Aurum smells expensive and complex, the kind of fragrance a wife of Sheikh would wear. The longevity is unbelievable, on clothes it can last for days, on skin and hair I can detect it even after shower. The sillage is fantastic too, I always get so many compliments and questions of what it is that I'm wearing and where to buy it that I'm already tired to explain.

There's something very appealing about this fragrance. I don't know what it is, and I'm not even sure what I am smelling right now. Fruit? Gardenia? Spices? Gummy Bears?! LOL. I'm really not sure, but all the notes combined smell fantastic around me, if very unusual, and very unlike an ordinary perfume. It's weird and hard to describe, but it smells great. I've never smelled Lady Million, so I have no idea if it smells like that, but I couldn't imagine it smelling any better than this. 2/2025 - I finally got a sample of Lady Million and it seems my guess was right; it doesn't smell better than this. Lady Million is very perfumy, cloying, and old fashioned compared to this.

It’s a mature scent but not old lady scent, for me every time I spray this my instant thought is “it’s so juicy” it’s fruity juicy ripe pear with cinnamon, very incense nag champa, it’s sweet but not bubblegum candy sweet, it’s more pear, patchouli, marzipan, vanilla, almond, sweet liquor. This is a very Middle Eastern scent, unique love or hate, my daughter tells me I smell like incense when I wear it. I love it but it depends on the person and what suits you. Age 30-50

A steal for the price. A fruity white floral. If you like Lady Million, Pure Poison (I think Amouage Honour is stretching it because its not aquatic and light as Honour-this is a substantial floral) A creamy gardenia with the fruity raspberry is just lovely. Vanilla keeps this sweet. A powdery nuance makes this feminine. A spicy woody musky drydown.Very sultry. Longevity long and huge sillage. Loved this perfume for soo many years! The only perfume I’ve ever bought a second bottle of! Its the perfect evening entrance making perfume and lasts all night long. I also find its the perfect balance of strong earthy and musky tones without the fruit and floral notes being drowned out 5/5- all time fav, only perfume i purchased a second bottle of!

This may not be anything like Lady Million but this is the most delicious perfume I've smelled for some time. It really is warm, powdery and sweet, very feminine and just delicious. The actual base notes seem to dominate for me. I'm going to have to get this perfume! (I received a sample with a recent order).

Starts of very fruity creamy, dry down smells verrrrry similar to Roberto Cavalli's original perfume! (smells sweeter on skin). Better than average projection and longevity. Love.

I’m not sure about the similarity with lady million. Lady million on my skin turns out bad, but this Aurum, it’s pure love all the way

I learned about designer Ajmal late this year when I received a sample of Ajmal's "Dawn" (which is hard to come by and doesn't appear to be in Fragrantica's database). I was so impressed by Dawn that I decided to buy 100 ml flankers of both Dawn and "Aurum". Both are mature, sophisticated, full-bodied fragrances. So please do not go for them if you are looking for something on the light and sweet side. Those who say that Aurum opens fruity and has a velvety, warm, creamy dry down are spot on. I was struck by how familiar this fragrance is. I've smelled it on a number of people whose body chemistry carries Ajmal fragrances extremely well. If you like oud/spicy scents with a tasteful/toned-down sweet element to them, definitely give this line a try. Aurum is very well blended with great longevity and sillage. It opens with fruity, floral notes which are crisp and clean (lemon, orange blossom, gardenia stand out the most). Aurum's tastefully done woody, vanilla notes lead to a creamy, soft, clean dry down. The first day I used Aurum, it lasted all day on my skin and top. If sprayed with a heavy hand (especially on clothing), it has the potential to become cloying/cause a headache, so less is better with this line. None of the notes are too sharp or overpowering (at least for me anyway) as long as you don't use a heavy hand. The bottle is beautiful, so I'll hold on to it for decorative purposes once it's done. I can see myself using Aurum year-round, but would likely only use it for evening wear during hot months. Dawn is more versatile and can work even in hot months, but I would not spray it around my neck area/décolletage. Aurum and Dawn are quickly becoming my favorite perfumes especially in this cold winter weather. I can definitely see myself repurchasing them assuming they won't be out of stock.

Opens right away with ripe, juicy red berries and a tiny hint of vanilla. The vanilla fades fairly rapidly and is replaced by a somewhat sharp note, possibly lavender? The sharp note dissipates and is replaced by a slightly aquatic melon/cucumber note (very subtle, berries dominate) with a bit of a salty tang, possibly ambergris? The berries become less sweet but persist. It took about 20 minutes on my skin for this initial phase to complete, knowing how these types of scents react on me, I would guess this would take an hour or so on a woman whose skin chemistry is not unusual. Into the second hour the melon/cucumbery note dissipates and is replaced by a floral element, either neroli or the typical middle eastern jasmine or both. The floral note continues to build,the berries become less dominant and the slightly salty note continues to phase in and out, something that reminds me of apples becomes noticeable, maybe it is how I am perceving some type of balm/resin? At about 3-4 hours the scent is in its final stage, a slightly fruity floral with the slightly salty element in the base and some other element grounding it- some sort of balm or resin. At final dry down the fruit is gone except for occasional wafts, and something like honey becomes noticeable (some sort of sweet wood?) and a tiny bit of spice. It is possible that a very light, bordering on imperceptible touch of cambodian oud might give this effect. Overall a well blended and pleasant scent, seems like something a really nice person would wear.

It's so funny, the first time I tried the oil version of it in store (with very cold AC) my first impression was that it smells like Haribo Gummi Bears. While I was sampling some other fragrances it became a lot warmer and cozy though. At that moment I wasn't really able to detect any single notes (cause my nose was full of the scent of some very strong prior sampled pure Khus aka Vetiver oil), but it was pleasant and affordable enough that I decided to pick up a bottle home. Once I tried it at home (without the AC on) I actually was baffled at how much this smells like Lady Million, a fragrance that I loved 6 years ago. I'd say the opening is still a tad bit more fruity and the dry down a bit more warm and velvety. In fact i find it to be an improved version of the scent I used to love. Its performance in regards to longevity is a lot better (at least on me) than Lady Million. Sillage is alright. I found it to be picking up a bit of oomph once I moved outside into the heat. Seems it needs to heat up a bit to really project. All in all a very pleasant little scent also for western noses and a real steal at that. Just the bottle of the oil version could have been a bit more user friendly as it doesn't come with an application stick and is really hard to open.

Got this as a sample with a purchase on the official website along with 2 other samples - Sacrifice (which smells amazing but the vial leaked out unfortunately), and Amaze (not on the database but in brief, it smells like Body+Her by Burberry, not my type at all but verrry potent, couldn't scrub it off!). Aurum however is a very pleasant, quality western designer type of perfume, reminds me of half of what's been produced in the 2000s-2010's. Nothing spicy or Arabian here, this is more an interpretation of French perfume; had I blind-tested it, and if I were told this is a flanker of J'adore, I'd believe it. It reminds me of Musk Gold by El Nabil because of the fruity sweet notes. I get sweet juicy lemon, slightly aquatic raspberry, non discernable white florals and a powdery vanilla base. There's some musk in there as well, which I don't mind even though I'm not big on musk notes usually. It's a monolithic composition, smooth like a gold bar. This would make a great gift for normal non-perfumista people 🤭 or I could see it as a daily go-to for errands and work. If used sparingly, it won't bother or suffocate anyone.

I own White Diamonds night and this smells nothing like it. They are both powdery but not all powdery fragrances are the same. This is unusual and I've never encountered anything like it. A fruity floral dry dusting powder. Smells like high end bath products but of a brand I haven't tried before. I can see this being an easy dumb reach or an everyday office perfume since it is soft, pretty, slightly sweet and not loud at all but noticed and clean. Edit: My husband really gravitated toward this fragrance and wore the sample. Performance was excellent. He said it smelled like the best "clean" type of fragrance he had ever encountered. Like the best laundry detergent, I thought it was more feminine than that but I was happy he wore it. I tend to like feminine or unisex fragrances on men better than many traditional male releases. I think this is something we could enjoy often. It is an easy dumb reach. I can also see scenting bedsheets with this. I didn't know this was a dupe of lady 1 million. I don't buy dupes. Sample given to me. It's a nice fragrance but I have ethical problems with dupes.

I had a full size bottle of this that broke and my room smelled like heaven for days Skip to over a decade later and I ordered the 10 ml trial size to see if this is still the same fragrance that I remember. So many mixed reviews... Finally got it delivered today and tried a tiny dab on my wrist. It opens a little loud and incensy floral but it settles down to a very smooth white floral blend very soon. The musk and powdery notes kinda envelop a heart of white florals that is not too jasminey or too sweet. We had a talcum powder when I was in school some 22 years ago, Ponds dream flower talc if I remember correctly and the dry down is so much like that that this is super nostalgic for me. This might become heavy and overbearing if you don't like white florals or powdery notes, but if you do - this is a must have in the scent wardrobe. Dab it on when you're fresh out of the shower or just starting your skincare to get out... By the time you leave the house, it'll be that perfect mellow floral that is so delicious and delicate...

Aurum by Ajmal opens like a candy shop wrapped in citrus peel. Lemon, raspberry and a burst of white florals greet you at first spray. Then it settles into a soft cloud of powdery vanilla and musk that feels like wearing sunshine in silk. It is sweet but not childish, more like a playful grown-up scent. Think fancy laundry with a golden glow. It is not for minimalists but if you love something radiant and soft, this is a warm hug in a bottle.

I love this perfume I could definitely pick up the sweet scent of the raspberry, it doesn't smell like fruits however to my nose, the spices with the raspberries goes pretty well, after if settles down i am able to smell the powder but its so light not over powering just perfect

Very nice. If I had a girl I wouldn't mind her wearing this. The sample I got is running out. I might get a full bottle just for spraying around now and then. =)

this is Amouage Honour + fruits added. Grown up creamy fruity floral, like!

It’s been over 5 months since I bought this fragrance and it still smells like detergent to me. The amount of times I tried to like it is insane , because pre maceration it was way better than it’s now. Not sure if it’s due to unlucky batch or it’s the rasberry-lemon note combination which gives off weird scent.... On the other hand, my mom, woman in her 50s , completely in love with it! So this perfume is a complete hit or miss for each person, I don’t see a between with it.

It's okay. There's really nothing special about this. It's sweet and musky, but not super musky. Longevity or silage are not very good either. I wear this sometimes, but I wouldn't repurchase this.

For the notes, I thought I was going to like this and I bought a decant, and I can tell you this is another case of "not a safe blind buy". I can only feel the opening of raspberry, and a little jasmine in the middle notes, but very faintly; mostly I feel this heavy cloud of sweet, dense amber and powdery notes. The dry down is a little more tolerable but I still have a strong urge to scrub it, and I probably will doo it if the longevity is strong, which apparently is. Really try it before you buy it!

Dusty, powdery musky smell with some spicy, woody notes. To me, old lady-like musk is all over (I don't know why my nose is so sensitive on musk) even if I spray it in the air. Somebody wrote below that it's a rich auntie scent, and I 100% agree. I'm too young for this perfume even in my 30's :D

As I am discovering house of Ajmal and truly impressed by their quality I did acquire Arum which I thought was a a gem for a price . This smells like a super concentrated dryer sheet. When I say super concentrated I mean choking cheep no name brand of dryer sheet... Very disappointing 🥺

It doesn't go well with my skin at all and I don't think it's similar to Lady Million. Not even close. I have a full bottle sprayed twice ready to swap if you are interested. It smells good by itself on a sample strip but on me, just terrible.

I blind bought Ajmal Aurum when I saw it resembles Lady million. I ended up disappointed, however. I cannot sense any resemblance between the two. All I get in Aurum are notes of gardenia and jasmine, but no powder and no lemon or raspberry. To me, Aurum is a warm heavy fragrance, a lot of wood and musk, even Amber traces, definitely not fruity at all. Longevity is good, as in all Ajmal perfumes, but the dry down gives you the impression of an old fragrance. It seems very similar to Giordani Gold perfume from Avon, a fragrance that my mum used to wear in her mid forties. Surely won't buy it again.

Extremely powerful and expanding white floral with fruits. The texture is creamy, full-bodied, silage and longevity are enormous, so ppl who's skin absorbs all fragrances too quickly must be more than happy with this silage. From own memory this fragrance reminds me of Covet Bloom SJP more than anything, but the mix of fruits here is unusual for European fragrances, not jammy or juicy, but like a whipped souffle probably. Can not detect raspberry, that I personally more than enjoy in fragrances. Juice is too smooth and honey-like by structure. Impressive overall, if you are white-floral person.

Aurum is a basic medley of slightly sweet florals and musk. It's certainly easily wearable but rather unoriginal and uninspired, turns into a skin scent pretty quickly. I own White Diamonds Night by Elizabeth Taylor and this smells nothing like it. edit- I still don't care for it, but as a skin scent hours later it is a lovely, sweet and delicate powder.

The fruity elements are really not noticeable to me. I mostly get this soft, warm, powdery musk. My friends and I all agree that this smells like fresh, fancy laundry. It's very beautiful and wearable, and it feels like a soft hug, but I'm definitely getting laundry...

This one is a copy of lady million with more intense lasting power & sillage .. The price is average ,, not low price (so close to lady million) price .. I will get one for me since I am a fan of lady million

Ok, so Aurum smells a bit like a niche version of Lady Million. But can anyone tell what's under the spray cap? Oud chips, gold flakes, dried mushrooms? I'm really wondering.

Fresh lemon, lime and gummy bears. Not too bad. Quite juvenile and could be interpreted as sticky sweet.

Reminded me of perfumes like Al Haramain Sultan, Al Haramain Noora and Ellie Saab Girl like Now.

To my nose, this smells very similar to Paris Hilton's first perfume, " Paris Hilton."
