Evoke for Her

I was casually browsing through the fragrance section and decided to try this perfume, so I bought it for £25, which is not bad at all. As soon as I applied it, I fell in love with the scent. I would say it is about 90 percent similar to Bottega Veneta. If you like patchouli and oakmoss with a slightly sweet iris, this is definitely for you. The projection and sillage are not very strong, but I need around 10 sprays for it to last through my 8 hour work shift. Even when I can no longer smell it on myself, people around me can still notice it. I have received so many compliments with this perfume that I think it has become my signature scent. I am not joking, every day at work people ask me what I am wearing, especially many clients. It is not a very common scent nowadays, as trends have changed a lot, but this perfume still has that classic yet modern, elegant and intoxicating touch that makes it unique and captivating. I also agree with MrAbbas’s comment. This perfume feels royal, and I completely agree that I can imagine Sheikha Moza smelling like this, people with a very high level of elegance. If I were a millionaire, I would ask Ajmal to customize this perfume for me by adding much more oil to make it stronger. That is the only thing missing, as I feel it is quite diluted. I bought another bottle, and what I plan to do is spray it a few times into the air and then leave it in a dark place to see if, over time, the patchouli and oakmoss develop further, improving the scent and making it last longer. 😍

I am Addicted, I imagine Sheikha Moza of Qatar to smell like this. I get the Gris Dior resemblance but this is different also. I imagine a rich lady with freshly painted nailpolish, having makeup with loads of face powder and she is sipping champagne. There is something fizzy and effervessant about this scent and that what makes it beautiful and not vintage. Its not for young girls or teens, its mature. I find it unisex actually and excellent performer, nearing beast as many reviewers claimed. For the price, absolutely no brainer and already repurchased. Edit: A waitress complimented me while paying the bill. She leaned in and said: You smell really nice :) Even a colleague at work, even a crush.

This is probably the only fragrance I keep buying over and over again ... possibly because of its great price/value for what it is. Most people here think it’s a feminine scent ... I don’t think so! It’s definitely not the most masculine fragrance there, but I think it can be very unisex... not every man can pull it off! On my skin, I get the earthiness, but I also get a floral, somewhat fruitiness to it too. I find gris Dior a lot more airy compared to this... I would say this is quiet thicker... but I love it and I think it’s a very elegant scent.

هذا العطر يتم تشبيهه كثيراً بعطر قري ديور ويروج كبديل له، نعم صحيح هناك تشابه كبير بين العطرين مع فروقات بسيطة، هذا العطر يميل لكونه نسائي أكثر، رائحة الورد هنا أعمق من الورد في ديور، عطر ديور قري ديور عشبي أكثر مع رائحة ترابية أوضح، النقاء بطبيعة الحال لمصلحة ديور ولكن هذا أيضاً ممتاز جداً ولا تشعر بأن الرائحة صناعية بحتة، فيه حبكة عطرية، أداءه وفوحانه جميل جداً.. العطر قيمته 144 ريال، أقل من 40 دولار بقليل، يستحق الاقتناء حقيقة أداء وفوحان وسعر مناسب..

This is my new signature scent. I bought it on a blind buy as it was on offer at the airport and I liked the sound of the profile. A good solid chypre with the perfect blend of oriental florals and a touch of sweetness. Every time I have worn this someone has commented and asked me what it is. For price you can’t go wrong. It lasts a long time on me and dries down to a lovely spicy base.

I'm surprised nobody mentions how Evoke has a similar vibe to Hermes Barenia and I'm here for it, of course not a dupe. I let this beauty mature for at least a year before appreciating her. This is a patchouli forward woody mossy rose with a powdery nuance. I'm not getting anything earthy here. This has traits of a floral chypre. Amazing longevity. Ajmal is highly underrated imo. Love.

لا اعرف صراحتا لماذا يتم تصنيف هذا العطر علي انه نسائي اري ان هذا التصنيف ظالم لكون نوته البتشولي في العطر التي اعطت العطر حبكه ثقيله جعلته يصلح رجالي ايضا انا مثلا اشتريته عندنا شممت العطر علي احد زملائي عطر غاااايه في الجمال الحبكه فيه جيده جدا ثبات العطر وفوحانه من جيد جدا الي ممتاز حسب طريقه استخدامك له .عطر جميل انصحه به وايضا انصح بالتجربه قبل الشراء

Beautiful, very fresh and sophisticated. This is a very patchouli-forward chypre, blended beautifully with rose and oakmoss. The opening is a touch spicy & citric, with an effervescence that lingers quite well in the scent's life. Lasts 8+hrs with great sillage. Works best in spring & autumn, summer is too warm and winter is too cold.

I really love this perfume. Very very elegant! I used Chanel Deauville, and I tried Evoke for her by curiosity. I fell in love instantly! Great indeed - I cannot compare with anything else.... So my new signature is Evoke for her...

It starts off with Fresh Spicy in Opening, although Spicy Note dominates due to Pink Pepper Then Floral Notes comes into Picture, drydown has Powdery due to Patcholi, Vanila & Moss. Strong Notes are Patcholi, Pink Pepper & Moss other notes are not that strong and gel well with other notes. Women who like Spicy & Powdery Notes Scents will like this or women who want to smell different my like this too. Totally Feminine Scent. I smelled this on a good friend of mine then she gave me a bottle to sniff. Many women may like it too as it is V Spicy & Powdery, But Spicy & Powdery in Good Way. I personally like the Mens Version of Evoke too. I personally would to like smell this on women on occasions, This perfumes is for Working Lady or Lady Boss, Just my Opinion. Longevity & Projection is Excellent for this Perfume & Even Presentation is Excellent, Sprayer is V good & pours out lot of juice. My Rating is 3.7 out of 5.

To me, this performs exactly according to the note pyramid - it starts out citrusy, peppery and very zesty, then the flowery medley of rose, orris and jasmine comes in and is later joined by earthy, dry patchouli and moss. An elegant scent that feels quite "mature" and luxe, which makes sense if the main inspiration for it is Gris Dior. Definitely not an everyday vibe, and I'm not sure where I'm going to wear it - I feel like the perfect occasion for this would be something like a business meeting or a shopping spree in Dubai. However, if you're generally a fan of Dior and Chanel chypres but don't want to spend a lot on perfume, and you like to dress up rather than down, then you're probably the perfect candidate for wearing this.

An interesting middle eastern take on a chypre- a fresh, white floral opening that immediately turns mossy, rosy and patchouli leaning. What adds interest to this fragrance are the powdery iris and spicy pink pepper, but you'll have to sniff closely to experience these notes. However, they merge well with oakmoss and patchouli. This is not a young girl's perfume. When I smell it, I think of business casual clothing, morning meetings and 6pm drinks with colleagues after work. It doesn't project far, but it is not forgettable when you're near and dear.

In summer, Evoke for her is very similar to Shuhrah by Rasasi. Pick one, you do not need both. Both very strong and projecting. Patchouli dominant. Probably more suited to temperatures below 70F. Beautiful with a light hand.

This is a seriously earthy and woodsy scent! The patchouli is prominent, but it's balanced by the rose and bergamot. It lasts forever on my skin too - perfect for autumn.

I've had this perfume for the longest time and never used it. I'd take it out once in a blue moon, spray once on my wrist, decide I didn't still like it and put it back at the back of my cupboard. The problem was, I was spritzing in winters only! cold weather is such a killer of this scent. This should be spritzed somewhere in spring. So here I am after stumbling upon this again; I spritzed it 20 mins ago. Getting a very beautiful rose and orris smell. This is definitely not a young girl perfume. It's a mature, rich woman scent, i know what i'm doing and I mean business perfume. Very different from the florals and the sweet candy, vanilla note perfume. you will stand out from the crowd when you wear this.

Значи, пръскам плахо на китката и първата мисъл, която ме стрелва е Bottega Veneta! Да, така стартира първото ми запознанство с този парфюм, в който няма нищо арабско и е изцяло с европейски вид, и аромат, както те често описват парфюмите, които не миришат на харем.(ПП. Продължавам да мисля, че парфюмът не мирише на харем, но след два дни носене, излизат нотки, типични за арабските парфюми). Малко след това се появява някаква плодова нотка, която тушира велура, който преобладава в Bottega Veneta. До момента не разпознавам нито една от посочените в Evoke съставки и това винаги ме е впечатлявало в арабските аромати, че са толкова компактни, че нищо не се вее самостоятелно. Това за мен е предимство. Парфюмът е категоричен шипър и който познава новите шипри няма да има никакво съмнение, но не е шипър от представите ви за бабичка. Мааалко по-плодов идва за вкуса ми, но то е толкова малко, че след ден сигурно ще свикна. И все пак парфюмът за мен е като сестра на Bottega Veneta Ако имате Bottega Veneta и се запознаете предварително с Evoke, едва ли бихте го купили. Никой във Фрагрантика (и руската в това число), не споменава за прилика между двата, но за мен тя е неоспорима. Не твърдя, че са еднакви, но си приличат достатъчно. Шишето е красиво, цената за това ухание е чудесна, но повече от това не бих дала.

Not completely horrible but, as demonstrated by the bottle, it evokes men to pull-out a pistol and start firing. A fragrance to avoid if you're dating Oscar Pistorius or wish to smell good.

Worst perfume ever!! I only know a few perfumes more which are similarly disgusting!!! You are warned!

Okay I have never tried Gris Dior or Gris Montaigne so I really cannot say anything on the resemblance. I just bought it yesterday and I can say the following about it for sure. 1. Its marketed towards women and I think the marketing is absolutely correct. I would not consider this even a unisex scent. In the beginning, only for a few minutes I do find similarities to Le Labo’s Mousse De Chene but it changes to a women scent pretty quickly. 2. Its not a beast scent at all. The performance is very minimal and I was not satisfied with it at all. I gave it to my wife.

I'm alittle shook at how beautiful this perfume is! The opening is a strong rose, pink pepper, patchouli mix that projects for a few hours then the magic happens in the drydown... it turns to a velvety, sweet Rose, thanks to the orris root... Very similar to the deep dry down of musc noir rose by narsisso Rodriguez. The bottle I got was beast mode right out of the box! I'm so happy to find this hidden gem from Ajmal : )10/10

Really screechy mossy earthy wet patchouli in opening, it gets drier and powdery with a hint of rose and jasmine. I hope the screechiness disappears after maceration. Unisex. Gris Dior is unknown to me, but this one reminds me a lot of Voile de chypre Eisenberg, interesting and rather green, barely sweet

Very sophisticated and a pleasure to wear! This is not like the thousand candy sweet fragrances on the market, so If you like to smell like candy and cake you probably won't like this. It's crisp and airy and sparklingly dry like fizzy dry champagne. It is incredibly long lasting too.

I don’t find this very similar to Gris Dior. Evoke has a citric freshness where (to me) Gris Dior is dirtier. I’m glad I disregarded the comparison and got it anyway.

Does anyone know something about its flanker - the Silver Evoke for her?

good perfume sweet fragrances longevity is good though..
