Evoke Midnight Edition

I've worn this fragrance once and will definitely be doing a full wearing soon. It's awesome! I love Tuscan Leather, so I jive very well with the raspberry note. It's bluish, but I wouldn't call it a blue scent...just has elements. Definitely spicy from the pink pepper and the cardamon is a bit green. From the first impressions, the projection is excellent the first 30 minutes...could improve as it sits. Gotta like sweet fragrances here. This could work anytime of the year due to it's airy profile...I might change my mind once it sits though. The sprayer is nice and the bottle is from the future lol. Certainly different from anything in my collection. Will return in about a month or so. So far, very good!

Very peppery and airy opening and develops into a iSO e super dry down. Very modern and futuristic The bottle is just handsome , in one word I collected a decant of it and after sniffing initially , i couldn't stop myself buying it . The "Joy amin" named this perfume "mystique" of x-men franchise by it's appearance. Like "Mystique" it goes with every season and every occasion/situations. One of my favorites and a hidden gem in my opinion. Silky raspberry with some depth to it at the same time, bursting with pink pepper to initiate it's presence, followed by a captivating violet/saffron combo, mildly but at the same time vividly, spiced by the cardamom note on a patchouli base with musky nuances. Great quality, great performance and a sexy bottle. The underrated house of Ajmal.

Smells clean, refined and sophisticated. To me this is a mature gentlemen scent, soapy fougere done right. It offers something different in a sea of blue and shower gel perfumes. Good longevity and average projection + good value for money. Versatile but mostly fits perfect in dressed up professional settings. Not for kids - 30+.

Definitely get the raspberry in the opening and so far I'm liking this, similar a bit to azzaro forever wanted elixir but seems less intense, didn't like that one as was quite sickly but evoke midnight is a good cheapie, longevity I'd give it a 7.5 and silliage a solid 7.

After one year of wearing this i can say its very unique and i got the most compliments out of it, very addicting :)Even some coworkers which i dont really talk at all said to me that i smell great and was asking what it is. I can say it was kinda bizzare :D

I fell in love with this one. Bought 4 bottles already. It doesn't really remind me any other designer or niche fragrance, it is its own thing. Very spicy and cardamon heavy, if you like cardamon you will love that one.

This is something else. Very interesting,bold and somehow charismatic. They picked the same raspberry as in Tuscan Leather. I should say it is memorable manly scent

The spicy scent is not overpowering. More like fresh spicy scent to me. I get patchouli and violet on this one.

#1707 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Probably because everyone and their brother tries to clone “Tom Ford” Tuscan Leather, and because raspberry has become a go-to for cheap women’s scents (really scents for teenage girls), I’ve been avoiding scents with that note. But scentwithsense.com had this 2ml spray for $4.99, so I thought “What the hell”, and I ordered this despite that I found Ajmal’s “Evoke Gold” kinda repellant. As someone else noticed, this is pretty similar to “Minotaure", an EDT from Paloma Picasso released in 1992. I got that scent as I was getting ready to relocate to Los Angeles and bought some twenty odd sample sizes to try out in search of a new signature fragrance. I thought Minotaure was okay, but it didn’t make the cut. The primary difference is Minotaure has a rose note that I found too feminine, and it was slightly sour, whereas the citrus in this is more like Issey Miyake “L'Eau D’Issey.” But Minotaure is still out there and still has its fans. This scent is long-lasting and has good silage. I think it’s versatile enough for year round wear in any setting. But there’s nothing about it that’s compellingly attractive to me. A good warm weather freshie I think, but I have a couple hundred of those, so not a bottle buy for me though it’s fairly priced. But what’s up with those bottles? Literally looks “cheesy" and cheap. If my girlfriend saw that on the shelf mockery would ensue. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

Not quite sure about this one. The smell is super nice, but it's really weak in any possible way. I hope it will get better with time, but I just bought it and it's 2023 batch, so I don't have high hopes. It cost me just 20€, but I was really expecting more. After month I really like this one. The smell is so special, so unique kinda. Projection and longevity are also acceptable. I'm testing supremacy CE now, and it's a big disappointment for me. On one hand is supremacy and on the other is ajmal evoke and all I can smell, is this one. Good purchase after all.

Very airy vibes. Like a modern version of Mont Blanc individuel. The same raspberry but in this one, the raspberry note is fading like. It's as if mont Blanc individuel matured over the years and understood that it can be futile to wear perfumes that make the difference when you live in a big city, but still, even in the most massive conditions, you should remain a special person wearing a perfume that fits to a non-place. This is what evoke smells like.

It smells refined and luxurious in a very modern and quasi futuristic way for the 30 mins I can smell it. I don't understand whether it's me going noseblind to it or if recent batches are weaker (mine is from 09/24). 10 smell wise, 3 performance wise. EDIT: It got a bit stronger already or maybe I just went noseblind to it the first time I wore it, it has okay performance.

All I can say is blue, blue, blue, 💙. This is every blue fragrance mixed into one. Fantastic! 😁

Only received this yesterday. Definitely something interesting about this one but the Tuscan Leather Raspberry note is just overbearing and seems to last forever. Will let it sit for a few weeks and revisit. Edit: Changing my mind on the Raspberry.....initial blast is strong Raspberry but quickly fades to a more floating supporting note. Liking this one one more as time goes by.

This reminds me of Versace Man but sadly in a very bad way 😔 The opening is very harsh like most Ajmal fragrances... and during the first 30 minutes it smells like powdered detergent.

I bought this, let it mature for a month and binned it. Not a good smell at all for me - just was meh.

This is a peppery, floral, God-awful, abomination. I sprayed two sprays on my wrist and have washed it off after less than an hour. I purchased from a retailer that allows returns so i'll be returning it this week. I smelled a bit of raspberry when I sniffed the bottle. However, I didn't smell any raspberry or mandarin orange when I sprayed my wrist. I don't know how this fragrance received so many positive reviews but to each their own.

UAE Garbage, This smells like busted bologna ass eaten near the sewer pipes in the summer in Mogadishu. Lovely if that is what you are looking for!!

I just got this and have to give my thoughts. I know we can all smell different things at times, but please know this. Evoke Midnight Edition smells nothing like Versace Man in the purple bottle. Nothing like it. Maybe it's in the same genre... maybe, but that's as far as it goes. That said, does it smell nice and does it smell like anything we know? Well, I believe the person that nailed the review accurately is Joy Amin. Why do I say that? Well as soon as I sprayed it on I knew exactly what I was smelling. Sultani by Arabian Oud! I have Sultani and I have Versace Man in the purple bottle, and dreamer as well for comparison . It smells so much like Sultani I will be using Evoke Midnight Edition when I don't want to waste sprays from my Sultani Bottle. Now does Sultani smell a bit richer and better? Yes, but Evoke Midnight Edition is still nice, and like I say. I will be using Evoke Midnight Edition in stances when I'm just being casual or even going to the gym, and I don't want to waste Sultani on such situations. Now to be fair, Joy never brought up Sultani in his review, but he did bring up Amiri by the same house Arabian Oud. And if any of you know, Sultani and Amiri are close siblings and if you have one you really don't have to spend the extra money to have the other. He also referenced Al Rehab I believe silver I believe? I used to have that but never repurchased once I was finished. As though it was nice. It doesn't the polish of Suttani, Amiri, or even Evoke Midnight Edition. So please don't think you're going to get a direct replacement for Versace Man in the Purple Bottle. Versace man has a very distinct yet feint tobacco note that rides like a cloud in the back ground through out the fragrance. Evoke Midnight Edition has no Tobacco note nor smell at all. Also, to be fair. I just got Evoke Midnight Edition and as we all know. These middle eastern fragrances change with time and usually for the better. So if it smells like something different in the next few months. I will edit this review. But until then. This to my nose from first sniff smell like Arabian Oud Sultani. So much so I will use it as a replacement for less important life situations, and to back that up. Joy Amin referred it's smell to being in the same wheel house as Amiri. Well Amiri and Sultani are extremely close as far as style and smell. I believe these reviews are important because it's hard to test some of these middle eastern fragrances before purchasing them. Though blind buying isn't recommended. That's what most people do with middle eastern fragrances. It is what it is.

This was my first perfume and a blind buy. All I can say is, this is just great. You can wear it any season (but in summer it looses like 10% of the full smell, it's still amazing, but you can't fully get the amazingness of all the notes) What I would say it's not warm, it's more just spicy or fresh spicy. It's also kinda watery? The mandarin feels like a juice that's been watered down with carbonated water and it's not bad at all, you can feel than mandarin in the back watered down, which I think makes it even better without it being very overpowering. Overall, this is a great buy, even a blind buy. It works every season, and for the funny amount it costs I'd get it, no 2nd thoughts.

What a wonderful fragrance this is. It reminds me off bunch of other fragrances in small percentage (10-15%) but still as a whole package this fragrance is so unique and very modern, you could say even futuristic. Not a safe blind buy, but those who like uniqueness will be amazed how this smell and compliment you for sure. It also feels a little bit more mature, best suitable for someone over 27-28 years. This is male stuff, nothing unisex here. You could use this thing almost every day, just avoid the high heat in the summer. Performance vise it's good, i get easily around 8h, nothing too strong (loud) or weak either, but above average for sure.

Idk if it's a dupe or anything, picked it up in Budapest, cheap and smell ok, all year round floral peppery-ish, original bottle design, I will not keep it

its a masterpiece of a fragrance, blind buy worthy if you like fruity spicy sexy perfues for night outs, stunning bottle design and color, i give 10

For the fans of Versace Man 2003 which is discontinued and goes for $115 if available by chance.

This smells nothing like Prada amber it smells spicy cardamom
