Evoke Silver Edition

Disclaimer: I have never smelled Pegasus by PDM This a very nice creamy spicy fragrance with soapy nuances in the background.. I got a 10 ml decant and I really like this so far.. Being that this is the first time I wore this since adding to my collection I have to say I'm very impressed with Ajmal as a fragrance house ( more impressed than Armaf ). I can see this fragrance worn in the early fall to the late spring and even some cooler nights in the summer as a date night fragrance.. Awesome stuff blind buy worthy definitely getting a full bottle next EBAY haul. Rating 8.6/10

Yup, this is a PDM Pegasus clone. It seems like better quality than Armaf Craze, for sure. A little more rough around the edges compared to the original, of course. In terms of quality, it is somewhere in between Craze and Pegasus, leaning more towards Pegasus. At the price, it is a perfect clone. There's a hint of something metallic in there but that dwindles and disappears after about 30 mins or so. Drydown is where this shines. It becomes almost what Pegasus is and what Craze tried to be. A goodun, this one! :)

Spicy Pegasus; there's that distinctly clean & powdery vibe I get from Pegasus, but noticeably spicier thanks to the cardamom and olibanum. Similar DNA to Dior HP, but not identical. Perfect for autumn & winter, could get away with it in spring too. Great scent with terrible longevity, I only get 2.5 hrs tops. A shame, I'd gladly welcome a reformulation with the same notes pyramid but with better lasting power.

A very nice sensual, elegant and masculine scent. a fresh opening, immediately followed by a well balanced sweet amber note and a woody and spicy base. Well done. Quite similar to Pegasus by Parfums de Marly, but for a tenth of the price.

Very similar to pdm Pegasus, more synthetic and metallic, but still, worth the price especially if you compare with Pegasus price.

A better Craze and a less sweet Pegasus.

Got this as a present. I get a spicy citrus note initially and then it stays quite linear for the rest of the day. Very potent - can still smell it almost 9hrs later on my inner shirt. On my skin, it smells like powdered flowers. On my vest, it smells like musk with a metallic edge. It won't choke you in the heat and it works well in air-conditioning as well so I think it is good for summer or winter.

This is a comforting scent but not one to wear in the warm weather. This is a cozy scent and for the price point it's a good deal. It's sweet, powdery and romantic. It's good for intimate settings. The scent isn't strong and doesn't last a long time but for a scent like this it's okay because it would get tiring if it was powerful and lasted all day.

This is primary an aromatic amber fragrance. The cardamom and olibanum sit atop the amber and everything else is secondary. I like it but i wouldn't wear it as it's very masculine leaning.

This is an easy breakdown. Currently getting about 6-7 hours and an additional 12+ hours skin scent on it as the bottle matures. Its a bit creamy, ambery. It really is a good scent.

This is a fantastic scent but it seems to be gone inside an hour. It is similar to Craze and maybe even a slightly nicer smell but much worse performance.

The first few moments are a metallic, 'corridor of an old and shabby budget hotel from south-east Asia' type of smell. May be a little repulsive to some. Frequent visitors to such hotels may appreciate this opening. But when the chaos settles, there is an alluring floral powdery middle note which leaves a good impression. Its a love it or hate it type of fragrance. I would suggest trying on a sample instead of blind buy.

Once again I've been fooled by the "crowd's wisdom". I've tried every single clone out there of Pegasus PDM and this one is the worst!!! DO NOT blind buy this!!! If you want a better quality of it, just go with Portfolio royal stallion by Al haramain.

#1726 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this as a spray sample from scentwithsense.com. This for sure smells nothing like PDM “Pegasus.” The musk is overpowering, almost stomach turning in the opening though it settles down quickly to mostly cardamom and olibanum. SIiage is initially room-filling but drops to arm’s length in about twenty minutes. Never becomes pleasant or attractive, is actually kinda repellent, which is how the “Evoke Gold” impressed me as well. Something in those scents my stomach is not liking. So won’t be a buy for me.

Ajmal defines the fragrance as - A flanker to the predecessor, the Silver Edition Evoke by Ajmal is an spicy woody fragrance appeals to men who are urbane, tasteful and elegant. I completely agree. This scent is for urbane, tasteful and elegant man. This scent doesn't try to overplay or underplay anything. In my opinion, quite linear after initial dry down. So, what is really special about it? It is an old sayings - that I fear not the man who knows thousand punches but fear the one who has practiced the one thousand times. This is where it shines, it plays it strengths. I just said it's linear, and there is no complaint about it because the smell can outclass any niche fragrance in the perfume group and IMO, the quality is so tasteful that it is timeless. It is citrusy fresh in the opening and floral/frankincense in middle notes which is so beautiful that you will feel that your are floating in the air but this is not where it outclasses other scents. Where it actually shines is in the base note department, it is animalic, woody and ambery. Well, yes, these notes are very common across perfumery. But, the blending and balancing here is mindblowing and IMO, timeless piece of an art. On the paper test strip, base notes, work very nice but on the skin it's different story altogether. It outperforms any animalic scent which is try to be urban. It is urban animalic scent in the truest form. The impression I gather from the scent on my skin is seductive with elegance. Won't be wrong to say that it might fit very well even for close encounters, but beware you might actually get bitten from your partner as it is so alluring. This is 10/10 scent in blending in base notes and it is so elegant that I deem it fit for any occasions, quite versatile. It is not amazing in projection as it is elegant, but it stays on you for more than half a day. Again, it is delicious on skin. Do try it, what a beautiful blending. As always, keep smelling wonderful.

I smell off rip bergamot and a light cardamom which dissipates in few minutes. then immediately starts to dry down fast. It turns into a light incense with florals like violet and orange blossom, Mostly violet. There is a moderate sweetness throughout this journey. It smells like a sweet amber or musk. Projection is very light i would almost say intimate throughout, First 30 mins to an hour is moderate. Id say this is a great work scent considering how light and airy it is, It is an extremely awesome smell but also has an odd powder note that I personally dislike. But this is a solid fragrance but very light so dont expect beast mode. It does have very good longevity as a skin scent

Wow this stuff is horrible! Smells like bad sun tan lotion, I got a headache after the first 2 sprays. Horrible blind buy, overhyped fragrance. Scent 2/10 Hard Pass!

I almost puked when I smelled this. worst blind buy ever, at least it wasn't crazy expensive. like i put my nose the sprayer and i already want to gag/

Light smell, will last for six hours and after that the smell is almost disappeared. But the smell is really nice. Moderate sillage.

Evoke silver is 90% similar with CH 212 vip men, while 212 is more smoother

baby powder iris classy and timeless last forever on clothes

Very similar to Armaf Craze and good performance.
