Its Great Perfumes for Special Nights or Parties, Not a Day Scent nor for Summers. Oud Is Prominent Note which starts after 20 mins as its a base note, Perfume starts of with Citrus & Black Current, Opening is V good then Then Plum Roses & Musk comes to play after 20 mins oud takes over and blends with other components, I can smell Pathcholi & Amber in Base Notes. Blending of Perfume Oil is Done Well by Ajmal. Oudh is not swanky, I guess they used Combodian Oud which is not skanky as Indian Oud & have Herbal Components attached to it instead of Animal tones. Its is Unisex Perfume, Its Unique Smell Perfect for Romantic Night Date.

Beautiful perfume. My all time favourite is Alf lail o lail and was hoping for another great attar and was not disappointed. Blind buy after reading reviews and am glad I did buy it! Beautiful. I have no idea how to describe perfumes to me it’s ‘sweet’ warm honeyed version of 1001 nights, I get the same feeling from this one. Somebody mentioned dates - indeed reminds me of sticky dark dates. It’s smokey oudy warm glow perfume. Very very nice. Another love. Think if I had to choose and get rid of the rest of my attars and eastern fragrances (hubby is not a fan...) this one and Alf lail o lail would have stay....

WHile I agree with all the beautiful and informative reviews I would like to note that for me, along with the oud, musk, amber, rose and fruits, there is a certain spicy quality to this fragrance, of course, this can be the amber accord that I find rather dark, herbal and complex, something that shares some facets with 1001 nights from the same house, but it's more bitter there and here it is sweetened a little bit by the fruits . Hayaam is mysterious and first of all, sensual. It is not a daytime or everyday scent, but it can be worn at a date night or any special evening occassion. The effect it has for the european nose is just a little bit leaning to the masculine side, however, this character can make it even more appealing on a lady. I also think that this oil is beautiful when layered, it goes very well with dryer ouds, like Oud Cuiré from AKAF or for a more feminine and sweeter effect it can be layered with sweet and fruity attars, like Sultan from Al Haramain.....

A pure, real animalic musk hits your nostrils as soon as you open that perfume, in a way that very few arabian oils do. And also there is oud of course, bold but not offensive. Amber (Ajmal uses a first class complex amber with lots of ingredients mixed in it) and black currant come secondly, making the mixture, as the time passes, more sweet than sour and the rest of the notes just make their presence discretely. I find this perfume very peculiar and apart from many others on the line. Ajmal uses authentic ingredients for its perfumes and that's why it shines brightly among the rest of this industry. The bottle now is like no other. A golden arabian sculpture encompasses a perfume treasure, not for everyone though. I suggest you try it first, before you decide to buy it. Nevertheless, an ideal perfume for furs. Rate: 8/10 for me.
