Oudh & Rose

There’s a lot of hate for this fragrance with only a handful of reviews, which I’m surprised by. I purchased in person on a recent trip to India. Was shopping for a gift for a friend and this was one of two ittars that HAD to be added to my personal collection. Which was surprising to me because I’m NOT normally an oud or rose person! But this scent is so lovely and delicate on the skin. There’s certainly a little musk, but there’s absolutely no powdery BS (the reason I typically hate rose). It smells like freshly crushed rose petals with a delicate woody base. Absolutely zero about this reminds me of grandma (yay!). It projects on me for ~4+ hours and then mellows into a LOVELY skin scent for the rest of the day. It last however - clothes still smell like this after sitting in the laundry hamper for 2+ weeks. I do agree that I suspect the ittars of this brand are synthetic for several reasons, but that’s no reason to hate it. They make some good smelling stuff!

No oud at all, but a very piercing grapefruity floral musk. It's not bad, but it doesn't smell like Oudh or Rose. Update: the more I wear this the more I find it really good. It's like Gold Man, very powdery and aldehydic, but more fruity and floral and with a very sharp citric edge. It doesn't really smell like anything else, and again, doesn't smell at all like oud.

This is the best in my Ajmal collection and one of the best perfume oils I own. Whenever I wear it, almost everyone asks what I’m wearing. It smells incredible, lasts a very long time, and feels truly special, it definitely stands out from the crowd! I’ll always keep buying it and switching off between this and Ajmal's Musk Silk.

Attar was purchased in Saudi with the help of my colleague who's doing his pilgrim. Price was rip-off compared to online. Attar are synthetic. I couldn't detect any natural oud nor rose here. Not even the classic rose and oud attar scents. Just synthetic musk and floral notes. The most disappointed purchased. I would rather spend on Maison Anthony Marmin.

This is that “middle eastern wedding” fragrance. Very strong opening. Projects for around 4 hrs. Then becomes a skin scent.
