Qafiya 2

This is a wonderful composition and high quality though it eventually dries down to a predominant common sandalwood note, but I'll get back to that. First it's either a floriental or a woody-oriental, or both, but the floral aspect is undeniable. And I get dried fruit out of this myself as well though only a citrus is listed for it as is coffee I don't find. This is a subtly sweet spiced floral fragrance that's creamy and yet has an early effervescence to it. My very first thought was that this is spectacularly blended and I cannot pull any single note out of it, not even when reading its pyramid. This is an Eastern artwork. Spices? Yes, but smooth, balancing the settling floral aspect and pushing this unisex scent masculine to Western audiences. Finally, I have never experienced a fragrance whose performance is on the same scale as this and I have hundreds. The projection is tenacious, the sillage is simply off the charts, and the longevity is measured in days not hours so do not be concerned about this becoming a generic synthetic sandalwood because that is only a direction it's headed. Some powdery florals and spice notes continue in the background throughout. Thanks bhai for recommending it!

So I have had this perfume for the last 24 hours nearly. I sprayed a tiny little spritz in my left cubital fossa (inside the elbow) and i can still smell it this morning. This is a testament to Ajmal's potential to give other international brands a run for their money. Good ingredients, well balanced, nicely rounded and nothing smells harsh. This perfume reminds me of India (my home) and the Khaleej (my love) in Canada (my country). For a long time I was hunting something that could smell like the pears soap bar which reminds me of my late grandmother. This perfume smells like that. Wear it in pride if you're a true man's man or if you're a true woman's woman. Gorgeous stuff ! Smells like wealth.

Every now and then I come across a fragrance that is hard for me describing. Qiyafa 2 is definitely one of them. First of let me tell you that just 2 to 3 puffs kept my entire office full of fragrance all day. And after 3 days it is still going strong on my shirt. It is an absolute beast with monstrous silage and staying power. Now like I said, it is hard to describe its notes which to me were a bit metallic and spicy in the beginning and then it continues on and on and on as a nice musky sandlewood fragrance . All in all a beautiful and mysterious fragrance but not a blind buy. A definitely winter weather fragrance for formal office or semi casual evening events.

I tried it for 3 days, the opening reminds me of something that I cannot figure out. The opening is smooth spices & florals. The dry down is an elegant santal and it can noticeable for 12 hrs I have a theory, if I can still get wafts of what I’m wearing after 8 hrs, so this perfume is a beast, With qafiya 2, I’m constantly getting wafts of santal after 12 hrs, which means, it is a beast with no doubt. Update: Now I figured out what it was reminding me of I tested it side by side with spicebomb, replace tobacco in spicebomb with Santal and you will have qafya 2

Love at first sniff cannot believe the quality for the price beautiful scent... On the look out for a back up bottle real hidden gem my favourite in my collection shame its discontinued
