Sacrifice for Her

In love with this fragrance. If it lasted longer I would wear it all day every day. I have to drown myself for it to stick around for a few hours so I just can't afford to always smell like this. I have smelled Alien and there is similarity, but Alien is underwhelming to me compared to this scent. The opening is out of this world, it smells like boozy grapes from an alien planet. I wish that would stick around, but the dry down with the jasmine is also super lovely. I was first turned on to this type of white floral/jasminey type scent when I picked up a bottle of Aura of a Woman by Jean Rish for cheap at a Marshalls. I think it was supposed to be a cheap dupe for Alien which I had never smelled at that time. Aura of a Woman is just like this except sweeter, that boozy grape is more sugary and sticks around longer, although the lasting power of that one overall is weaker than Sacrifice. I'm super bummed that I haven't been able to find Aura of a Woman anywhere since then and my bottle is almost gone. Just need to find something sweet and grapey to pair with Sacrifice and I'll be good to good. If anyone can recommend anything like that please let me know. Back to Sacrifice, this is a love love love for me, would buy gallons of this thing and bathe in it if I could afford it.

If like me you love the jasmine note but have been an Alien anti-fan because you found the perfume much too indolic, intense and headache-inducing, then folks, Ajmal's Sacrifice for her, is for you. Here there is balance and airiness. Ajmal's perfumers knew how listen to Alien naysayers in order to fix the indolic problem at a high standard. The addition of the water note lightens the expression of jasmine, giving it a sort of happy airiness and the vanilla note lengthens the dry down on clothing, turning it warm and cosy, and if anything- more feminine. I am decidedly in love! It lasts for days on end on thick fabrics and all through the workday on my clothing. I've already put a back-up bottle in my online cart because I can't do without this jasmine-vanilla wonder this autumn/ winter, and my current bottle is quickly depleting. Layering this fragrance with others has proved impossible, it overwhelms everything until it dries down hours later.

I started my perfume journey this year and really wanted to buy alien but can't bring myself to pay over 100$ for a fragrance. I saw the similarities of Sacrifice on this site and ordered a sample of Alien and a 50ml bottle of Sacrifice for 27$ so I could try them both. I sprayed the entire sample of Alien on one hand and 2 sprays of Sacrifice on the other hand. They both opened the same crazy loud jasmine rush then both dried to 95% the same beautiful deep rich scent!! With Alien I could detect some of the notes separately and Sacrifice is more rounded and smooth but that's it... they both performed for 10 hours and still detectable (on skin) after 12 hours! I am so happy to find Sacrifice at an amazing price and I love the purple bottle! I will be buying a backup forsure : )

I could never wear Alien because of the sheer power of the scent, it was simply way too strong for me, so I tried this one and I am not disappointed, the jasmin in this is exactly of the same kind as in original Alien, not a realistic jasmin nor an indolic one, but simply a futuristic jasmin, a jasmin from another planet. I suspect very strongly it actually might be hedione and not jasmin essence, but if it is, they masterfully blended it with other white florals without any of the other notes becoming too overpowering. Wonderful special occasion scent, for me more night appropriate. Great projection and sillage, amazing for the price point. I will definitely try the oil version this winter.

I was pleasantly surprised this Christmas when my husband gifted me a fragrance that instantly transported me back to the mesmerizing allure of Thierry Mugler's Alien, specifically reminiscent of the original formulation from the late 2000s. So please bear in your mind: it isn't identical, but veeeery similar to Alien While the longevity may not rival high-end perfumes, it strikes a commendable balance, providing a medium-lasting allure that's perfect for daily wear. If you appreciate the allure of Alien, this fragrance is a captivating choice.

Economy-class Alien 😂 I used Alien obsessively for a while and when there was a huge dent in the juice, I sought a more economical alternative. Ajmal Sacrifice didn’t disappoint. It has the same clean, synthetic, super-galactic jasmine note ( there’s nothing aquatic to my nose). It rests on ambery woods (I know woods are not listed here but I can totally smell them). The difference between it and Alien is that Sacrifice is a tad more synthetic, especially if you overspray, and it has slightly weaker performance (but not too weak by any means). Moreover, Ajmal provides it in a tiny oil form that is exquisitely smooth and rounded.

I'm so happy to have found this! I have loved Alien for countless years and it was a signature for quite a while (before I stopped having a signature). Because I wore it so much I became anosmic to it. Every time I try to revisit it, I can't really smell anything. I bought this in hopes that it was similar enough to remind me of Alien but different enough that my brain would register it. And it does! It so reminds me of the first time I sniffed Alien at Nordstrom all those years ago and walked away completely obsessed! This is the best possible dupe out there!

As a die hard fan of the original alien, this comes close enough to the EDT. It's seriously so good. The only differences I'd say is that this is more fresh than the EDP, and maybe a bit more wearable. This lacks that dark depth that the original alien EDP has. I can honestly imagine this will deepen up with age. The jasmine used in alien is just unmatched. There's nothing like it. But the Jasmin is indolic in that, and here too. which I love so very much. If you want an affordable version of alien, this is SUCH a great option. 🥰😍❤️

Brought this for my wife after reading lot of reviews & testing it at ajmal store here in dubai. She is liked a lot and it remeinded Alien by Mugler to her EDT Version. This perfumes opens with strong blast of Jasmine later after some time in drydown i get lot Ambergris & Musk. It performs better in Night compared to Day time. I love to smell this Perfume on my Wife. Performance and Longevity is Excellent. I must buy for Women who want to smell Elegant. My rating is 4.25 out of 5.

Alien with an image watery and slight breezy effect. while the real Alien (pre L'oreal era) was a bomb of purple earthy jasmine, this one is a purple watery jasmine. it sways peacefully, the OG Alien is like "BOOM! in your face ambrox-floral!" this one is slightly toned down and feels like a literal same alien but diff bottle and different story. safe for those who can't stand overly earthy version of Alien and toned down lil bit for this.

Got it as an Alien dupe and am not disappointed. Have been buying the real Alien for years, but read that I can get something that smells the same for a better price. This is exactly like Alien, but just a tiny bit lighter. Less offensive. It's pretty much impossible to tell the difference between the two, but Sacrifice is more gentle after dry down. I will probably stock up on this one in case they discontinue it (please don't haha)

I've had my bottle of Sacrifice for Her for 2 years now and it keeps getting stronger. When it came in the mail I could smell the mentholated jasmine through the box! Sprayed on clothes delivers 8+ hours of wear. I'm thrilled with this alien dupe and glad I bought a backup because price has doubled but you can still find it under 25$ if you hunt around. I recommend this to Alien fans or beginners : )

While Alien screams, this one speaks with calm and firm voice. I can feel it after 12 h close to the skin and I sprayed only once on my hand. I don't like Alien, but I think I might love this one and the price is half from Alien's. Is soft and sexy and very powdery, deep and light the same time. Is a little to softt for those who like screaming an hard pushing perfumes. Perfect for summer.

Lovely, this is Alien EDT with a noticeably watery aspect in the opening which tames the jasmine a bit. Gets muskier as it dries on the skin and it's softer overall with the touch of vanilla and orange flower. Warm seasons is what I prefer for jasmine scents, but this definitely can be worn all year round. Very strong off my skin within the first hour but it settles to just arms' length.

using 50ml edp. just my another blind buy. open with very strong jasmine (what a headache attacked :P ) but then lighter. i love how the smells of ambergris n musk blend well on me. n people arounds me love it too. i used it at evening and in a morning after, before i go to bath, all people in my house said "oo woow, smells soo fabulous!!" repurchase ? absolutely!!

I love it a lot! But i do have to say it's not unique at all, it's the same "Alien" but in a different bottle! Really, it's just similar to the Alien EDT version ( it's a little lighter than the Alien EDP ), so if you love Alien you'd love Sacrifice and you can purchase this one instead the TM perfume which is more expensive...

I have to completely disagree with the reviewer who claims "Ajmal's perfumers knew how listen to Alien naysayers in order to fix the indolic problem at a high standard." This has the same dirty jasmine as the original Alien. If you dislike indole, try a different perfume, Alien (and its dupes) is not for you.

I like it. Unfortunately my 2016 bottle of Alien has been misplaced so I purchased the current L’Oréal version that is much different and doesn’t last as long. I’ve been layering the L’Oréal Alien with Sacrifice and I really like that combo. It seems to give each scent what they’re lacking on their own.

well, to be honestly i wanted to buy alien first. but then i've read in a forum about sacrifice and just thought about trying it. i'm pleasantly surprised. to me it's not the same but very,very similar to alien. the sillage and longevity is ok and it's not expensive. Advisable perfume!

I got this today and it was love at first smell. I’ve smelled Alien before and it is stronger but this is lighter, has good sillage and love the medicinal minty jasmines kind of lotion vibe it has. This is a great signature scent for everyday use very interesting and fresh.

Crazy accurate dupe of Alien! I have the 10ml CPO form, and it is very long-lasting... It does lack some of the richness in Alien's base, so there are some minor differences, but still well worth the price. Ajmal's noses are quite talented, I must say.

It was a love at first smell in the Bahrain Duty free,,,,, now i am on my third bottle, if you have the chance of purchasing along the body wash and body milk (both excellent quality) it lasts definetely a whole day, my best ambery musk fragrance!

Very similar to Alien. A bit lighter - more like everyday alien :) I have both and love them both. It dries down to lovely light musk rather than amber - very nice and very wearable. If you love alien you will like this one for sure.

Another one by Ajmal that I’m in love with. I cannot get enough of this scent. I’m using my bottle sparingly so I will not run out of it, it’s only 50ml. Heck maybe I should get another bottle

This is VERY close to original Alien, much closer than reformulated “modern” Alien. Lasts 6+ hours on the skin, 10+ on clothing. Do not hesitate getting it if you are Alien lover. 10/10

I love this fragrance so much. I wish I had bath oil or bath salts of the fragrance so I could immerse myself in it for the evening. Luxurious and elegant, I feel surrounded in beauty

I have this and its the same as alien but so much better alien is way too strong this one is so much softer but great sillage and logevity. So pleased with this one :)

More versatile, daytime wear version of alien. Pretty good longevity and wonderful jasmine opening! Can't stop sniffing my hand, the vanilla in this is sooo addictive!

THAT JASMINE. ALIEN DUPE FOR SURE. smells slightly less rich in both depth and money money vibes but its actually amazing. way less long lasting tho.

First when I did smell this perfume it caused me a headache .gusse what Now I do love this perfume.i did try alien and this almost the same smell

Yeah, it reminds of Alien, but it lacks sillage and projection. I will let it sit for a while and see if it improves.

I was never an Alien wearer when it was released. There was something about it that just didn’t do it for me. It was also insanely popular which I usually steer clear of. I don’t want to smell like everyone else. All these years later, it was safe to visit this scent. However, I heard that the reformulations have left wearers of the original alien very disappointed. So, I still didn’t purchase it. When this came out, I heard reviews that this was as close to the OG as you can get! It’s super affordable so I picked it up. It sure does smell like the Alien from back in the day!! It’s a little powdery but the muskiness makes it more pleasant to my nose. Still not my favorite profile but I can see the appeal. The jasmine is stunning in this and is the star of the show. I can absolutely see a man pulling this off. If you’re looking for a great dupe of the OG, I’m certain you’ll like this! 12/16 It’s much cheaper on fragrance net right now for a much cheaper price than I paid also if you’re interested in trying it! Under $20

I am definitely a lover of alien but wouldn't say its exactly the same, alien is a bit more deeper and richer with the jasmine whereas this is more of a soapy base. Once it dries down a bit it reminds me of a creamy moisturiser i use to have in the 90s. I wouldn't say it last longs, probably about 5 hours on the skin and then you can smell a faint vanilla note. On occasion i do use this and mix with other musky based scents, its perfect to mix with an fruity sweet perfume. It's the kinda of smell i would wear after a bath and gives you that light clean smell. if your looking for a floral with a clean musk base then i would say buy it as it's cheap and doesn't disappoint.

I've recently used samples of Sacrifice and Alien EDP on my wrists, to compare them. I must say they really are very similar, especially at the beginning. What Sacrifice lacks is that perfect balance, which you can find in Alien. They both start very strong and sultry, and while Alien evolves into beautiful earthy jasmine (perfect for me), Sacrifice leaves only ambergris and musk on my skin. I like both fragrances a lot but I prefer Alien, because of that beautiful jasmine note in the drydown. Nevertheless Sacrifice is definitely worth trying, because of the great sillage and longevity.

As everyone below has said, this is a softer, less screechy and not as long lasting version of Alien that is more office friendly and better for daytime than the OG. I absolutely disagree that it's a second cousin to the OG. This is definitely an older, calmer sister. You won't get the longevity with this like with the OG but that's what makes this less polarizing. Perfect for layering too with the OG if you don't want to use as much of the real thing.

I have been using alien edt, n 3 more variations of it since 3 year. It's my signature. I read the reviews later, bt wen I tested sacrifice, I just knew it's exact 99% dupe of alien. Alien is expensive n stays easily for 24 hours. Bt for the price sacrifice is too good n stays on me for 10 hours. Although I HV the sacrifice perfume oil. I guess the perfume version might stay for 6-7 hours.

I got smelled down by a random girl because of this. The fragnance smells so good but really blends well, because after a while I cannot smell it, but others can? It's really fresh smells like nothing but everything at the same time. It lasts longer than most think, I thought I couldn't smell it then someone complimented me on it.

I wouldn’t say Sacrifice smells the same as Alien, but it is similar. Airy jasmine and orange blossom, it lacks the oomph of Alien. However, it’s nice, it’s cheap and being less strong it’s not offensive to use in the office. If you like Alien you will like this less pungent version. I like (and use) them both.

This is a creamy sensual Alien that I so much prefer over the cold jasmine that is Alien. I especially prefer this one after the reformulation of Alien... Initial spray is a wave of fresh jasmine and musk. Then you get the vanilla and ambergris throughout the rest of the dry down. It’s a less boring Alien.

I agree that this has an Alien-like vibe, minus the screeching jasmine. The longevity is good, but you still need to take into account that it's not the high end bottle that Mugler has. While Alien isn't office friendly, I find that this one can be used in an office setting without being overwhelming.

Probably better just to let go of what it's supposed to resemble and just enjoy it for what it is: a lovely jasmine that's both airy and creamy. And I think the bottle is cool. Today, I actually layered it with Blanche Bête. Gorgeous. Wish it lasted longer and projected just a little more on its own.

I've never smelled the original Alien, only the reformulated (L'Oreal) one. I like that one too. This is a more everyday and daytime scent. I like to reapply it once a day. My husband smelled it on me and he thought it was the drydown of YSL Libre edp. They have 5 notes in common.

I got my bottle today. Feel a bit disappointed as both longevity and sillage are not as I expected according to reviews. The smell itself is quite nice but I have to ask my husband to sniff my skin at close quarters as he does not fee any notes around at all.
