Vanille Celeste

I like many of Ajmal's offerings and this is no different. This is a straightforward vanilla with a little orchid and pear. It isn't anything new or unique, but it's still pleasant nonetheless. I don't get much orange blossom or cedar, although I'm sure they are in the mix and it's a little powdery and very sweet. The vanilla borders on an extract scent but not as balsamic as Mercedes Club Black or Cologne of the Missions Le Couvent Maison de Parfum and I assume that's from the addition of the other notes. Vanilla Celeste is basically a sweet vanilla orchid, very wearable all year round in any weather, day or night. The bottle is a little different, with a see-through glass top in which there is potpourri but there is no cap, similar to others in the same line (Aurum, Shine, Orchidee Celeste, etc.). I get relatively good longevity from it, at least 8 hours, with moderate projection. I obtained it for a decent price and am happy with the blind buy.
