Night

Brace yourself for THIS one, kids. Akro NIGHT, one of the new scents created by the famous Cresp family of perfumers as part of a sextet of olfactory "vices", just might be the naughtiest perfume of which I am aware. In unambiguous erotic suggestiveness, it is right up there with Rochas FEMME, Papillon Artisan SALOME, Alexander McQueen KINGDOM, and the original pink-bomb flacon of AGENT PROVOCATEUR. What NIGHT is emulating, there can be no question, and it makes no attempt to apologize for, camouflage or downplay the carnality. Yet oddly, one cannot call it "raunchy" or "vulgar"... because it's blended so wittily, so charmingly, so perfectly. Opening spritz reveals, after the scintillating alcohol/aldehydes, an accord of cumin, fruity violet (?) and a sweetish kiss of honey and a vanillic marshmallow, the sum total of which smells like, yes, "olor feminis" in fullest heat, replete with a urinaceous tinge and hint of mothball-y oldschool indoles. There is a deeper note, oily and dirty, that smells like masculine hair that hasn't been shampooed in weeks; yet I don't think it's costus... it must be some amazing new aromachemical. With time, a beautiful, winsome, oldschool romantic Victorian rose bouquet-- I picture the buds pale coral pink--- rises up, waxen, soapy and candle-like, to embrace the sweaty animalic accord. And there you have it-- a fascinating push/pull between the virginal honeyed-rose soap... and the quasi-gynecological accord, which never resolves even into farthest drydown. Some hours later, there is a very subtle oud quality remaining (though this scent is not "about" oud at all). NIGHT is immensely chic, up to-the-minute hip... yet it curiously smells like something from the Rococo 1700's... Like you would expect Marie Antoinette's panties to smell after a candlelit ball at Versailles. But a "New Wave Versailles", like in the Kirsten Dunst movie. Flawlessly blended, NIGHT may be the ultimate boudoir scent... In a disco, nightclub or bar it would be galvanizing as well. Probably not for church, temple, office or the PTA. It leans femme, of course, but I suspect some dandified Casanovas will be able to rawk it as well. (I sure plan to). NIGHT is compactly composed in a very modern fashion, almost to the point of having a "Pop Art", doll-like duotone effect; it smells pink-and-light brown. Think: a 1960's Mel Ramos painting. Or picture a pretty little white cake... with a ring of pink sugar rosebuds and a design of buttercream vulva on top. It doesn't, shall we say, "sprawl". It makes its unequivocal statement, its plea... for which there can only be one answer: utter surrender. Where SALOME is blunt and down-to-earth, almost headshoppy, NIGHT is witty, midrange-y and urbane. I shall be so anxious to get other reviewers' readings on this amazing, insolent scent. This is the best one of the collection, an absolute dirt box of a scent. It's clean meets dirty in the most balanced way. I think it's very clever and I don't recall smelling a rose like this?? First of all it opens up and you're like 'okay, they needed to do some more conventional stuff and this is the "rose one" right?' It's a modern, airy rose and it's very nice, immediately sweet but not trying too hard. Then you get this wack of BO and then the interplay between them. It's not straight cumin or musk or some crappy clumsy civet replacer, it's like an air of mild BO, and it feels human, it dances around with the rose in a very specific way. There's a sheerness, there's a lightness to it and that's how it gets away with what it's doing here, spicing a rose to within an inch of it's life, but doing it with a certain elegance and lightness of touch. I was reminded of that bulls blood one from Imaginary authors which is creatively a superb perfume but one I couldn't wear, ever! That is rose and shit though, as apposed to this which is rose and sweat. That's kind of relentless and dense and this is translucent. I like it a lot but it would be a novelty in my collection due to the fact I'd be reluctant to wear it in polite company, as your friends might think you've not had a wash. We all say 'I wear perfume for me' and while that is true, I also care what others think, I do, can't help it. There's something so modern about Night, with it's stark contrasts and strange simplicity. I've gotta be honest I think it's absolutely brilliant.

Oh yeah, of course I love this. That makes sense. I knew I needed to smell it after seeing the level of revulsion it's inspired, so I ordered a sample, put it on this afternoon, and now I'm sat here a few hours later, lightly irritated because I have no choice but to order a bottle now. For what it's worth, I get absolutely nothing unclean or BO-like from this. Maybe a suggestion of sex, but mostly on a conceptual level. Rose is far and away the most dominant note for me, though it's a thoroughly deviant take on rose, miles away from the stuffy florals most of us are used to. Think of of a lush, overgrown wild rosebush, with buds so bright they nearly burn a spot in your vision on a particularly sunny day. Now imagine those same roses rotting in the summer heat, petals reduced to a goopy film sagging from their stems. That's the rose I get from this. It's something inordinately beautiful, taken too far and turned sour. There's a body and earthiness (this is the cumin, I'm guessing) to it that brings out a disarming, crude quality to the rose. It reminds us of the distance between the pristine, idealized version of a thing and the messy, intoxicating reality of it. It's a shame the usage scenarios for this are so limited (basically the club, the bedroom, or a date that takes place almost entirely in the bedroom) because it's stunning.

My interest in this fragrance began when I read “inner thigh” in a Luckyscent description. I’m not sure that’s totally correct, but there is definitely a strong sense of 'fragrance' mixed with an amorous personal funk, and I adore it. The opening and early dry down are indeed cumin heavy, maybe the heaviest I’ve encountered, but the sense leans corporeal not culinary. I don’t understand why, but the effect both is and is not like BO. Perhaps that is because there is so much else happening. It reminds me of being in my early 20s, how I would smell my girlfriend’s shirts when she was away. It wasn’t gross; it was lovely and exciting and enthralling, and was the first time I associated that particular kind of scent with affection and desire. To me Night inhabits a territory shared with Rose 31 and Absolue Pour le Soir, although Night’s cumin load is much higher, at least initially, than in Rose 31, and it doesn’t have the honeyed sweetness of Absolue Pour le Soir. I was also immediately reminded of the strain of cumin I used to blush at in Malle’s Un Fleur de Cassie circa 2013. The longevity of Night is staggering, and the scent is an absolute dream as it lingers the next day. The cumin never really leaves, and if you do not enjoy that note, I suppose you will hate this.

hello i had my bottle 100ml from fenwick glasgow i really loved because i appreciate the scents that represent our skin natural smell especially the attractive one, the scent is not a new for me because i had alot of the same line, so if you really like the coming perfumes then you should oreder this one blindly: 1- scent by theo fennell 2- muscs koublaï khän 3- kheils original musk 4- l’animal sauvage of marlou 5- femme de rochas 6- gianiversace 7- Aphrodisiaque Agent Provocateur 8- valentino noir musk essence . what i like in this perfume is that mr cresp unleashed his real passionate without any pressure of any company, i adore the cumin in the beginning it’s warming this delicious soup and after that a long song starts with many kinds of musk from strong one to soft during the day, omg this is real skin scent, people will say (i like your smell not i like your perfume) they will never thought that this is a perfume, a cream or lotion feels like, so innocent and attractive in the same time, the dirty soft beast, if you wear it you will busy with yourself loving yourself, you don’t need anyone to hang out with. don’t worry my dear of that cumin, you are not dirty you are so clean, clear and and innocent.

My experience with Night has been quite interesting. Some time ago I bought two decants, one for my boyfriend and one for me, but while he loves rose scents I wasn't really mind blown by this fragrance, it simply delivered what I expected: a rose dirtied by cumin. Flash forward a couple of months, I'm going out one day and I'm really feeling a rose perfume, though I only own Night so I decided to be a little daring, it's not like anyone was going to notice. Two sprays from a small sample, it's the same rose I knew already except it quickly developed into this cloud of cumin and I realized just how vulgar this perfume is when my whole room smelled of panties. It's incredibly noticeable and it doesn't help that a rose scent isn't just a very feminine note, but also a common scent in feminine hygiene products. Shortly, it really is the smell of clean lady parts. Very interesting and original, I love it because it does what it says, but it's not a safe wear. I can't think of a time when I could wear it because unlike many perfumes considered "skanky" this one is way too shameless!

I think without context this fragrance is easy to dislike. It certainly has a deeply carnal quality to it but in this world of sanitised obsessed,hyper clean, glass skyscraper abstractions, I am pleased there is room for this. Upon spraying I didn’t think of a stranger, a gym or that modern societal setting. It conjoured a post intimacy vibe with someone you are very much into. So although I totally got the cumin, the closeness of it, I didn’t find it off putting. I applied it lightly, was glad I did as it is loud enough on initial application. In practical terms I’m not sure I would wear it out and about or even to bed unless it was a particular type of occasion. I hope it does not get disconned because I’m glad it exists but not enough to buy a full size. I’m a wimp who got Bake and Awake. I’m certainly asking my partner to try it. I would not be drawn to a stranger wearing this but on the right person at the right time I think it could be good.

Sensual, sexy, filthy, yet clean and fresh. A contrast between dirty and clean. Yes, you will get body odor. BUT! The body odor is quite different. It's the smell of sex with a clean person - a person with a body odor that you actually like - that's how I'd interpret this fragrance. As the name suggests, this fragrance is a manifestation of lust. And it is executed perfectly imo, since it does remind me the smell of sweat of a person during a lustful night. When a human mind is filled with lust, our instincts awake and we actually enjoy the body odor of our partner. To me, it smells like sweat of a clean woman. A counterpart to Frederic Malle's Musc Ravageur. Projection and longevity is amazing - above arm's length of projection and lasts 'til the next day - you'll still get hints of it. For me this is a work of art, a masterpiece. I've smelt dozens of rose fragrances and Akro Night deserves a category on its own. 10/10

I have a full bottle of Awake and I love it, of course. When I got that I got a sample of Night and hadn't thought about trying it after hearing really strange and horrible reviews. I tried it yesterday on my skin and oh my god! Based on mixed reviews, I think it's safe to assume this particular scent is very dependant on who's wearing it. My skin happens to love this. It reminds me of a skin scent I like (Riddle Original, on me a sweet, soft musk/amber situation) with a bit of soapiness to it. I'm a bit afraid to wear it out or get a bottle in case to other noses it smells as horrible as some people say it does. But maybe it'll just smell like it does to me on my skin. Either way, definitely definitely definitely get a sample first. It'll either amaze you or disgust you.

This fragrance is absolutely stunning. On first sniff, this is a deep jammy rose over a base of heavy animalic cumin. There is a slight savory note from the saffron and cumin, which I adore. the oud comes out in the dry down, but it is very light. this smells very very sexy and alluring, almost coital. this is incredibly unique, and there are few fragrances that smell quite like it. It is daring, very bold, and not for the faint of heart. Definitely an acquired taste, but very rewarding to those who can appreciate its beauty. As of all Akro scents, this is extremely well-blended and high quality. one of the best fragrances i've smelled in a long time, and a real showstopper. 9/10

God, I love this stuff. Not for an everyday wear, but to remind myself of the breadth of emotion that a fragrance can elicit, of how it can transport you to fantasy. Night takes me to a grungy techno club where I am woo-ing a go-go dancer with purple braids and neon goggles; her street market rose oil has fused with the air of hundreds of dancing bodies. I'm utterly enthralled by her and she knows exactly how much power she holds. Very grateful for a nose that does not read this as powdery or clean in any way, because I love this absolutely gorgeous, feral, raunchy beast of a fragrance.

I love reading how unique everyone's experience of this fragrance is. To me, I initially meet this powdery rose scent- reminiscent of baby powder. However, this transforms in a violently romantic and horny delight on the drydown. The saffron and cumin begin to come through more as it dries (though the rose is extremely preset throughout), and create this beautiful bodily scent. It certainly smells a bit like sweat- but captivating and inexplicably intoxicating like your lover's slightly sweaty armpit. Definitely one of my favorites from Akro, and certainly not a blind buy.

A super wonderful, extremely delicate rose fragrance with a tinge of spices where the cumin matters but is not dominant. It has absolutely nothing to do with cumin monsters like Fate by Amouage, Hermes fragrances, Rubj and many others. It is not the smell of sex and dirt. It is sensual, delicate and very personal. But there is still nothing vulgar and shocking about it. Something like an embryo Le Labo Rose 31 or Lumiere Noir by Pour Homme Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Nevertheless, more artistic and better than the latter. Happy Christmas.

This smells OLD-school, and I'm loving it for that!! Do I think I could pull it off or have the energy to? Not so much, but you know what? Kudos to Olivier Cresp for creating such a bold, brave, dirty, SUPER-vintage leaning rose!!! The low ratings for this are totally unwarranted; this just doesn't fall in line with the 'trendy' scents of today and I give it points for that! I love it, but not enough to buy. I do love a lot of the AKRO line, though, and find them a fun and interesting house to explore!

While I'm certain this has no real oud in it, it does do a pretty convincing job of imitating some of the cheap Ajmal real oud perfumes, such as the dirty-diaper+baby powder of 1001 Nights (though this one is polite compared to that). Smelled side by side the difference is stark, but this is the only cheap commercial western perfume I've ever smelled that comes close to what Ajmal does in their elusive oud lines.

Heard about the Akro line from YT reviewers, ordered the discovery set and immediately fell in love with Night. Read the reviews and was soooooo confused - I see no flaws, I love this scent!!! It’s one of the sexiest fragrances I’ve ever smelled. Obviously it’s not for everyone but I’m bloody chuffed that it works for me.

exactly what would have smell Putain des Palaces from ELDO in my dreams, with the cumin pumped up a little bit more. Nothing outrageous here, just a velvety powdery note of cumin coated in his pink boa. I would say it's still a make up perfume , nothing explicitly sexual - just a perfect skin dream.

I had a small sample and couldn’t decide whether it was love or hate for me. That in turn made me more and more intrigued by this fragrance and after several months it truly won me over and I purchased a full bottle. Yes, love conquers all and I am indebted to Mr Cresp for this beauty. ❤️

NIGHT is the sexy powdered sweaty armpit realness. It smells clean and dirty at the same time. People like it or not depends on if they find the smell of an armpit attractive, I guess. Its rose and cumin combination reminds me of Le Labo ROSE 31.

Another truly niche fragrance. Not for the faint of heart- the cumin can give off a sweaty vibe. Very well blended. Beautiful but like some of the other akro frags its borderline unwearable. 8.5/10

A dark rose with her lips smudged and corset exposed. Then as if magically, she resurfaces with a white veil showered in aldehylic cleanness. Wow. I am truly surprised.

Are you all out of your mind? This is a beautiful worm, sweet, slightly spicy, velvety rose. So divine and sensual. Gorgeous, not even a hint of something dirty.

I am working my way through my Akro discovery set, and am quite taken with this brand. Olivier Cresp's creativity, when freed from the constraints of designer conglomerate contracts, is something to behold. However, while interesting, Night is the least wearable Akro scent so far in my opinion. Each Akro scent is inspired by an "addiction", and the vice in question this time is sex. A little more abstract than the coffee/cannabis/tobacco scents I previously tested, Night is centred on a spicy, animalic rose. However, it is not the kind of dark, spicy rose that I adore. While it is (predictably) musky with an amber accord in the base, but it overwhelmingly reminds me of a baby wipe. @alphairone nails it below: it smells like a whore's bath - skanky B.O. hastily concealed with rose-scented talcum powder, standing in for the scented baby wipe that came to mind when I smelled this. Night is skanky from initial spray, thanks to the cumin, which stands in for sour body odour (it is not as disgusting as that description sounds, however - it is animalic and spicy). The powdery rose is present from the beginning, simply reminiscent of rose-scented talcum powder. As it develops, it becomes musky with the saffron adding an amber quality to the base. The oud is initially mild and woody instead of skanky, rounding out the amber accord, becoming leather-like as it develops. The rose-cumin accord remains, keeping the whore's bath theme alive. It fades to a powdery, musky, animalic skin scent, underscored with the baby wipe quality. Sillage and longevity are moderate, and it is unisex, though I don't know who would wear this. An odd composition that seems totally unwearable, Night is somewhat on-theme but in a strangely unglamorous way. I don't dislike it, in fact I am utterly intrigued by it. Olfactory artwork from an unusual vantage point: the clumsy clean-up after the night in question, bottled. 4/5.

Sampling Akro Night, an aptly-named dark fragrance consisting of a lot of bold, daring, dark notes—namely, rose, oud, saffron, and cumin—so it’s spicy, floral, resinous, and slightly fresh and animalic. It has the recognizable rose/oud blend while also being a bit spicier and darker while not leaning too floral or animalic, albeit with some provocative sharpness. Overall, I like this composition and I like how no particular note takes over. Certainly a must-try for fans of rose/oud fragrances, as it’s a fairly reasonably-priced, robust alternative to some other pricier options out there. Like the rest of the Akro line, Night is priced at $180 for 100ml in EDP concentration, sold via the house site and Luckyscent in the US, and performs very well. I think the pricing is reasonable and the scent is a nice take on the rose/oud formula while still providing something new and high-quality, adding diversity to the Akro catalogue. 7 out of 10

A fun journey. Starts clean, a bright saffron & rose at first for 10 minutes before the sweaty, body odour cumin creeps in. At first, it's nice, a little sweaty but certainly not unpleasant - even without the rose, it's fairly attractive. The rose becomes powdery, almost like deodorant applied to a woman's underarm after a tiring, hot day. And then that sweaty cumin builds, and builds, and builds; just about to reach actually unbearable before backing down. Now, about 7 hours later, I've been left just with that soft powdery clean rose...? It really took me on a journey - from coming home a little funky, to very sweaty sex, to post-shower cleanliness. Given the context of the journey, it could be quite attractive - but not really wearable around others just in case. I guess I prefer to smell the real thing though, but I could see myself getting a sample. Except idk, I doubt it really.

Where Salome is a classy lady with a trace of eroticism, Night is p*rn. At first smell, all I got was rose and soft musk. As I exhaled thru my nose, onto my arm and then inhaled back in, all that scandalous cumin hit me. Whoa. This is a sweaty, post coitus scent. It is musky, hairy, dirty, and softened by rose. It settles down into a powdery musk and lasts for a good 6 hours. I applied a dab to my boyfriend and he was not a fan. His exact words were “why does it smell like I scratched my b*lls?”. I actually really enjoy it and find it dangerously sexy... not something I’d wear during the day, but at night when I want to intrigue someone. I would buy a full bottle as a base when I want skank up a sweeter / floral fragrance. I’ve mixed it with Masque Milano’s Lost Alice and find it delicious. If you like cumin and enjoy something cheeky, give it a try.

It's the cumin that makes this smell like sweat..if you ever cooked with it, you would know ... this smells like a woman wearing a pretty rose perfume on a hot, humid summer night, sipping cocktails outdoors, a bead of saltiness rolls down her cleavage..she's "interviewing" her next potential bed partner... is it you? Hmm..the night is young, anything goes.. it's THAT kind of perfume. It smells like sexy pheromonal sweat, not the obnoxious "I don't wear deodorant" sweat. The longer it's on the rose really comes forward. A powdery beautiful rose..but overall, this is a very indecent rose perfume. It sends a message..in my younger days as a singleton, I would've hopped on this in a shake! Not everyone can pull off this perfume. But, for the woman who can, power to you!

Art. I don't get bad B.O. in the way some people describe. If people smelled this decent after a week of not showering, it would be quite the miracle. Akro nailed what they were trying to acheive. It smells like a woman's armpit. She has on a women's deodorant, and she has showered before leaving out, but she's been at the bar for a few hours. So it's not out of the shower fresh, but it's not really nasty either. It has a bodily warmth to it that some people perceive as bad B.O. It's very human. A woman's body, in a literal sense. And lots of people find that incredibly sexy. This is one of my favorites from the brand.

Ok, at first all I smelled was baby powder which I hate, then I read cumin from others and I could see it bubbling underneath which I liked. Now, sitting with it a little longer, I'm not getting BO, but I do see sweaty (though showered) people dancing all night. As I've said before, this whole flight surprised me with the level of 90s nostalgia it gave me, as in it only bring out the best parts of the era and is making the memories all rosier for me. This is my least favorite of the 6, but I think now that it is well named and fits in the line.

Um, wow! First spray, i was inundated with rose! Then the cumin/saffron! Wow! That is definitely different! This is my first experience with cumin & saffron and I don’t know if it smells like chili or hot, sweaty sex. Wow! On Drydown, the rose becomes more muted and the cumin/saffron tones down a bit too and it becomes more of a powdery musky sweetness leaving the fragrance surprisingly wearable. Be careful though, this may attract the wrong type of attention or... not! I think i like it but its definitely not going to be for everyone !

Bought Akro discovery set and yea awake is the best one. But night is absolutely the most unique of them. Never in my life I thought I am gonna say this buuuut: This smells like a sex in summer night. Both bodies are in touch with them, both of them are a sweaty, bit dirty and there is s bit body odor - but that’s what sex is usually - well it depends every body is kinda “different”. It’s challenging for sure, maybe not for everyone but definitely unique in fragrance world. Not a blind buy that’s for sure, but I am gonna buy it hahah.

From reading all the reviews, I expected a very dirty, sweaty, body-odor kind of intense sexual experience. However, Akro Night smells very civilized, modern, clean, powdery and extremely ROSY..overall.. Yes there is that..dirty, masculine..used underwear kind of undertone in the beginning.. but it's soon overwhelmed by the ROSE note. It feels like I was chasing after this hot sweaty muscly boxer guy, then I lost him in the middle of a rose garden, and now I'm sitting under a rose bush, covered in baby powder.

I rather like Night. It’s the last from my Akro discovery kit. I did not get stellar longevity, only a few hours but it was still pleasant and easy to wear. The synthetic Oud note is turned down —thankfully—and the cumin on my skin was pleasant. The rose note comes across candied, a little sweet. I read all the other reviews below, and I’m continually amazed at how different we all wear and perceive scent. Night is not challenging in anyway. This one surprised me. In a positive way.

I'm confused by the reviews here saying this is 'dirty' and smells 'like sex.' It does not - on the contrary, this is clean and fresh. Smells like laundry, laundry with an underlying clean oud note. It's interesting - I enjoy perfumes that have a backbone, and oud serves as the backbone here. It's not a 'pretty' fragrance, but it's far from an offensive one or even a 'sexual' one IMO. I'd feel comfortable wearing it to work, to the grocery store - it's nothing to be afraid of.

it took me a while to realize that i'm actually very fond of this perfume! cumin is not a scent i immediately associate with perfumery, but i find it pretty savory and sexy. i definitely got the body-odor-esque fragrance at the first spray, but as it dried down, it became gentler and muskier and a little more floral throughout the day. this has a sensuality that feels very subtle and understated, and i feel like it would go well with any elegant look and occasion.

A nice understated rose against an intriguing 'urban' background' which is very difficult to describe. Suggestive of car interiors perhaps, transport, nightclubs. Very original scent. The other declared ingredients are unhelpful and misleading in describing the odour. I can't account for all the negative reviews on here, but it might be autosuggestion: once one person thinks there is something unpleasant, everyone imagines they can smell it.

No idea why everybody is getting sweat. This is like a scent memory of standing in front of a stall at a Turkish spice market. Very spicy, almost curry-like, but wearable thanks to the rose and wood base. A very alluring scent that lives up to its name. Perfect choice if you want to smell like the joy of a journey overseas.

The fragrance is much lighter than what I expected, very summery and very gentle. I blind-bought it and I do not regret. For a blind buy this is actually perfect - soft gentle rose, a little bit old-fashioned and nostalgic.

cumin bomb! i totally agree with the previous review. this doesn't form an accord to me, it just smells like realistic cumin on its own. hmmm i totally get what they mean and are going for though so let me try it again.

Sweet Spicy Rose, light, slightly powdery, vanilic, no BO, no funk, just easy to wear alternative spicy floral goodness from Cresp. Love it.

Woman in heat. It's quite wonderful, if in the mood.

I received a mini spray free with purchase. I never tried anything by this designer before. Normally I like to sample without reading any notes or reviews. I broke this rule this time. I knew this was going to smell vintage before I sampled due to the reviews. On my skin, this smells exactly like a common 90s femme powder musk. I don’t get rose, or cumin or any of the other distinct notes. But this is reminds me very much of something common from the 90s, so common there were tester bottles for it at every drugstore. It’s fancy, clean-ish, kind of makes me think of a scent I’d find on my grandmothers vanity. This smells nothing like any of the popular mainstream gourmand or Delina rose type scents that are so common now. This really makes me think about reading YM magazine in 1996 while my Gap Dream candle burned on my nightstand. It smells nothing like Gap Dream, but reminds me of the era the same. I get zero animalic or body odor/ass scents at all. Don’t smell cumin, thankfully, not a fan of cumin for anything besides eating. Smells very clean on my skin. I’m someone who avoids civet and other animal musks as they turn into a pissy animal cage on me. I also get funky and bad stinky from patchouli and badly done white florals. But on me, this is pure baby powder and 90s style musk. Who knew that scents like these still existed? I certainly wouldn’t have guessed based on the notes. Not a bad scent at all, but I know 90% of girls under 30 are going to start screaming and crying abuse accusations if you force them to smell something so... “mature”m😉

There should be a button for Love/Hate or Confused. Night is an incredibly intriguing fragrance that made me recoiled the first time I smelled it. Just another difficult perfume from Akro that is certainly unique, but why would anyone wear it? Opening is weirdly sweet, smells a little bit like toffi, but then it opens up and you realize that the sweetness is coming from the rose and it's the oud and cumin blend that makes it smell like a candy from Victorian era that stuck to a wooden drawer and made it till now. Spicy, sharp, but also old and dusty. I get whiffs of Night every time I move my wrist and I love it and hate it alternately, but I can't stop smelling it to figure what is it about. @Enrium and @alphairone 's reviews are spot-on. I can definitely see how it reminds people of whore's bath followed by rose-scented talcum powder.

I'll definitely say it's not a safe blind buy. I get a musky, oudy, tiny bit of rose and then I also get a weird baby powder smell too... I think its pulling me in too many directions so I find it to be a confusing and intriguing at the same time. I realized if I were to smell this on someone I would assume they need a shower (I don't know if it's necessarily the B.O. scent people are talking about or if its just the baby powder-like smell I'm getting) so it's a pass for me personally because I wouldn't want someone to think that of me, however I feel like it might work better for a guy.

Set scene -- you're at a nightclub hoping to meet someone to not be at the nightclub with. you neva know am I right. It happens-- you see someone eyeing you from across the room and the rest, is history. You're both sweaty in a night full of intermittent gyrating and making out until finally you make the call, "let's get out of here." But first, you run to the bathroom and take out one of your Always to Go wipes lolol. It's that smell of like a perfumed personal wipe mixed with body sweat. It's dirty, it's dank, it's slightly perfumed; it's sex.

On paper this is really sexy and dark without being overwhelming or predictable. The saffron and rose make a unique and expensive smelling combo. On my skin, the rose got heavier than I would like and the cumin can slightly turn on you in a way that makes you smell sour. It's not body odor on me but it's not far off either--probably a little too close for comfort. I wonder if this would perform better or differently in cooler climates. Definitely a nighttime scent. Lies close to the skin and I got about 7 hours of wear.

Bought the sample of this one just for fun and to smell it because I saw very interesting reviews about it here on Fragrantica. When I smell it to me this is clean soapy rose but then I asked my friend to smell it (he doesn't know anything about perfumes) he straight away told me it's smell like sweat to him. 😄 So once again we get to the point that our noses are all different and we smell the same things differently.
